Roll up, roll up, share your weird dreams here! Grin

I'm having, oo, at least three of the buggers a night...

My favourite so far... Me and two girls I went to school with were hiding in McDs from a load of zombies. Head zombie was a boy I went to school with. I havent seen any of them in RL for at least 10 years!!

Also about 3 really vivid and weird dreams a night here too. Can't describe them though! One I dreamt I didn't see my new baby for 4 months after birth, then didnt know what to do with him!

kiki22 · 30/11/2011 18:15

The zombies from the walking dead were eating me last night...

Indith · 30/11/2011 18:20

All sorts of odd things, they are very clear when I wake up and I know they are crazy but then I forget. I've shagged all sorts of inappropriate people and very much enjoyed it, I remember those ones Grin.

JambalayaWarmMincePie · 30/11/2011 18:43

Posted this before but mine so far have been awful - and SO realistic - worst ones being me accidently putting my new baby in the washing machine with the dirty washing, and another with my ex-dp cutting off my daughters head and refusing to give it back.

Both times I was screaming in my sleep and DP couldnt wake me.

Have had the shagging dreams too though - so its not all bad! Grin

blueskydrinking · 30/11/2011 21:00

I don't get the shagging dreams - I feel about as sexy as a kettle when pregnant :(

I do get my share of strange dreams though. Last week, I was dreaming about penguins. We were in my local shopping centre. The main penguin was in a very dark place emotionally because he didn't have arms, just flippers. It was a really intense dream and ended up with the penguin being shot. Still haven't shaken that one off!!

PaintYouByNumbers · 30/11/2011 21:17

I have very strange dreams, were even stranger whilst pregnant! One time I dreamt that I was pregnant, far gone etc (I wasn't IRL IYSWIM?) but no bump, I just could see a baby shaped bump in my otherwise flat tummy and it was moving around etc. Another time I dreamt I was heavily preg, i put a blanket on my bump, and pulled it off to reveal a newborn baby in the blanket. Weird I am. Grin

PinkPepper · 30/11/2011 21:33

I keep having weird sort of scary dreams, I dreamt I'd had the baby and somehow forgotten to feed it, but no one had said even though I was still in hospital, and the baby hadn't cried, but it ended up starving :/ I woke up and said to dp don't let me forget to feed the baby, he was so confused.

pugtastic · 01/12/2011 00:35

So glad that others are having what seems like anxiety dreams. This morning I dreamt that the hubster rolled me on to my stomach and started pushing down on my back so hard I couldn't breathe and I was trying to scream for him to stop as he was killing the baby! He woke me up as he could tell that I was having a 'mare.

VintageNancy · 01/12/2011 07:37

I don't think I've had any anxiety dreams yet about the baby - although I've had some really scary ones involving loads of people getting shot except me. I had a marvellous shagging one really early in pregnancy that sadly hasn't been repeated!!

Oeisha · 01/12/2011 09:59

Last night's offering: Sitting on the edge of a raised flower bed in my old (made up in dream layout) University town. My ex boss confiding in me about his erectile dysfunction, he was wearing an England football top (don't know if it's significant, but he does like football). I'm as pg as I am now. He was waiting for his wife. He then decides to kiss me and pushes me down on to the flower bed, where LO goes mental in my belly and I giggle lots. I then ge tup easily (yeah, ok, dreams eh!) and then tell him not to worry, I won't be telling anyone, but it was rather public, to then walk back across dewey grass in some sandals (incidentally passing someone I though might be his wife), and watchign some bloke finding walking on the grass impossible, he'd taken his shoes off...

Go figure...

Weridest dream so far involved trying to beat Jenson Button to death with his own forearm (which spontaneously fell off) after he tried it on with me...he then ran away, I then had to clean up the stains on the rug with Dettox Mould and Mildew remover. I put the forearm in a bin behind an italian restaurant I seemed to know well in the dream.

likelucklove · 01/12/2011 10:29

Most of mine are too rude to repeat on here or RL Blush

Let's just say, many are sex acts I have never even THOUGHT of, or involve looking at porn that has never crossed my mind! My DP finds it very amusing though.

Other than that, no anxiety dreams just dreaming about things I can no longer do, such as going out clubbing with friends and getting very drunk, or eating 10 cans of tuna in one go!

Never has the thought of going to sleep been so entertaining! Grin

emsyj · 01/12/2011 10:34

All my pregnancy dreams were about forgetting to feed the baby, or forgetting it existed. One particularly bizarre one found me having given birth to a toy plastic gorilla with white fur and that was my baby Confused.

Another favourite was one where I 'remembered' that I'd had a baby 2 weeks earlier but had never fed it. Decided I wouldn't be able to breastfeed because I'd left it so long, so tried to make up a bottle but the amount of formula on the tin made a sort of paste the texture of hoummous. I was really stressed that the baby wouldn't be able to suck the hoummous textured milk through the bottle teat. I woke up sweating.

DH had a dream that I gave birth to a baby that could speak in full sentences - a little bit Village of the Damned!

cjbk1 · 01/12/2011 10:34

Leave Jenson button alone u dream-meanie! he's lovely iv met him about 5 times. glad loads of u hav had snagging dreams and enjoyed them u can c o m e in yur sleep too when pg Wink

DizzyKipper · 01/12/2011 11:32

Very unpleasant dream last night. Going back in time to when my dad was diagnosed with cancer, and in the dream my mum had decided that she wanted another baby with him before he died. My brothers and sister were overjoyed with the news, I was the only one who wasn't happy about it as I just knew that if she got pregnant my baby would be shunned and be an outcast in the family, as well as the fact that she's approaching 60.

Felt completely miserable when I woke up.

PrincessJellyBaby · 01/12/2011 11:42

Anxiety dreams - yes, that's what my DH always says they sound like when I describe them.

Last nights offering was I was doing a quiz/game with a group of friends (from How I Met Your Mother). It involved cryptic clues of places in our area. We had to figure out where and then go and photograph it. But in the dream the questions were really real and I woke up trying to figure out the clues (a man who has a passport for both England and France, who drinks beer but killed a policeman....name the place...??)

Also dreamt I had twins, but when they did the scan the boy (I knew it was a boy cos he had blue clothes on) was a good size but the girl (wearing pink floral things, yes, in my womb) was tiny. They said she had to be aborted, but the boy could stay.

Woke up so upset from that one.

smk84 · 01/12/2011 13:13

The funny dreams here have creased me up ! (have terrible nausea and a cough, and laughing makes me cough, and coughing......). Especially about Jenson and his forearm ! I have about 4 or 5 random dreams a night, wide ranging from meeting my grandad (who's now in heaven) on a train to give him a birthday card, to very random nooky type dreams, miscarriage etc. I have woken myself up giggling and sweating with fear on different occasions, and it's showing no sign of slowing down. 13 weeks now so probably a few more in store !!

Oeisha · 01/12/2011 18:24

have at him ladies! He does seem to have chilled a lot since his very early years in the limelight (F1 fan here). No idea why I took umbridge at his advances in my dreams. Frankly, I'm a dream-slag, so will pretty much do anyone in dream world, making it odder. Think my brain figures I get to DTD with DH IRL, so why not pick random strangers/random men I know/random celebs.

amsyj Apparently dreaming about giving birth to toys is very common...

As are anxious dreams about birth/babies being forgotten or left out.

As is an increase in sex-dreams. Alas, it's not an increase for me. I'm just a dream-strumpet.

to anyone upset by their dreams. Def. write them down or share the scariest bits. Saves you being wound-up and upset all day! Can also remind you that maybe you're anxious about something more than you think and it might be an area worth exploring in waking.

thejoanwilder · 02/12/2011 00:37

mine have eased off a little in the last 6 weeks or so. But the weirdest one so far- I went to visit some old friends I haven't seen in ages, had a delightful afternoon with them smoking crystal meth.
WTF Shock
There are a number of troubling things about this:
1- I'm pretty sure these friends don't smoke crystal meth
2- I DEFINTIELY don't smoke crystal meth
3- I don't even know if crystal meth is something you can smoke.
Weird...!

HugosGoatee · 02/12/2011 00:49

Grin at these, especially the detailed randomness of the Jenson one! I can't sleep and couldn't stop giggling at that, had to get up as DH was making grumpy snuffling sounds.

I have had loads of both anxious and sexy, I should write them down straight away as I can't remember them now.

I did dream the other night that I was pregnant with twins (I'm pg with one boy) and I knew who they were, and had to go and tell them. It was 2 students I teach Confused I told the boy (who's about 15) and he was happy enough that I was actually his mum, then I told the girl and she had a big existential crisis about it. The rest of the class were then jealous.

I've also dreamt about giving birth to a kitten.

joosiewoosie · 02/12/2011 13:04

I dreamt that the world was split up into lands based on your Dave choccy maker. So I was in Cadburyland but then wanted to move to Galaxy land (dunno who maker is). Did not have to pack up house, just had to hold hands with hubs while we closed eyes and both ate some Galaxy and miraculously in the blink if an eye, the house, contents and we had moved. Weird stuff! Maybe I'm not eating enough chocolate!?

Oeisha · 02/12/2011 16:50

joosie It's Mars...

I usually always remember my dreams. Vividly. Whether I want to or not. Can lucid dream sometimes too! (would like to add the Jenson dream wasn't lucid, would have made him clean the rug...thoughtless sod. Bleeding allover my floor).

Oddly, I don't relly remember the content of lastnight's dreams, but do remember waking up feeling Hmm and not in a good way!

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 03/12/2011 13:45

Last night, I dreamt that (by some miracle) DH got pregnant now (so I was already pregnant). He had to have an abortion as we couldnt afford to have two new babies and DS!

I dont think money would be a problem if DH were to get pregnant! Grin

broccolitrees · 03/12/2011 21:47

last night, well, actually this morning after getting up to spew and then going back to sleep, i dreamt that all my teeth went black and fell out, and i just thought 'it's because i'm pregnant - i hope they grow back after i have had the baby'! that wasn't pleasant - i was quite relieved it was a dream Grin

mrdarceych · 03/12/2011 22:33

Im having some amazing ones, but forget them by the time ive had the first puke of the day! Going to take a notebook tonight...wake up at least 3times, and have completly different ones!!

blackoutthexmaslights · 03/12/2011 22:38
