I did another Clearblue digital this morning and took a picture of it for posterity!

Showed OH and he thinks I have gone quite mad and turned into some crazy pregnant lady! He may well be right! But I was just wondering, in the interests of determining exactly how unhinged I am, whether any of y'all have ever done that too?

I did first time round. I also took an amazing photo of the sun rising on the day as I had woken at 5.30am with the urge to do the test. We were on a luxury holiday in st Lucia and I only bought the tests as a last minute purchase at the airport. It's in a frame in the lounge (sunrise not pregnancy test!) and it always makes me smile. Yes. And the subsequent three (which is definitely more bonkers).

MrsRhettButler · 09/11/2011 19:36

Ooooh that's funny Natasha!

GwennieF · 09/11/2011 19:37

No need, I've kept them all!

MotherPanda · 09/11/2011 19:37

No.. but I kept the stick - its still upstairs in my bathroom drawer, and DD is 4 months old now. wonder if there's any odd wee mould growing.

I took a digital test too, and have kept that, though the result disappeared after a few days. A picture is a lovely reminder, probably more hygienic.

PotteringAlong · 09/11/2011 19:40

Yes!

morethemerrier · 09/11/2011 19:41

Me too! We must all be crazy! And I kept mine as well!

But then I keep the the peg with the scrivelled umbilical cord thats falls off when it drys! Have I reached a new level of crazy?!? Hmm

Dont care! Grin

ronx · 09/11/2011 19:44

I did because I was so pleased to be pregnant at long last. Grin

GwennieF · 09/11/2011 20:07

I've got my belly button clips too! In the same box as my BFPs and identity bracelets....

CaptainNancy · 09/11/2011 20:11

motherpanda- my stick is 4 years old now, no sign of mould Blush

I have photos of all 3 BFPs. I don't think it's weird.

GwendolineMaryLacey · 09/11/2011 20:13

Yes, all against a suitably decorative background Blush

ITryToBeZenBut · 09/11/2011 20:15

My OH took the pic and put it on facebook Blush Really unlike him but he's got a special albu, with all the scans and a picture of the orange folder on it (why???????).

Happily it was the BFP pic with the lid on at least so everyone didnt have to see my wee.

Can't complain he's enthusiastic but I'm refusing to get my bump out for facebook Smile

HoneyPablo · 09/11/2011 20:21

No, didn't even consider it and it never entered my mind to keep the stick. Ugh. But then, I am old and had my children in the dark ages when facebook and mobiles didn't exist.

morethemerrier · 09/11/2011 20:21

Snap GwennieF on the id bracelets as well! Only for the first two though as DC3 was born at home, so she has a Baby Girl deflated helium balloon!

Actually, kept DS1+2 helium balloon as well, and all the baby congrats cards................................................................Hmm

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 09/11/2011 20:21

I kept one of the tests - but I can't now remember which of the 4 pregnancies it was Sad. I thought I would never forget, and now I have - I wish I'd written on the stick. It doesn't have mould and is still as clear as the day I did the test.

PrincessAppleSeed · 09/11/2011 20:31

Yup - a photo of the digi one and the blue cross. And have kept the blue cross one. Very glad to hear there is no wee mould growing on other peoples!

Will need to get a special box, me thinks, for all the bits I plan to collect and treasure (on 7wks pg with 1st!)

GwendolineMaryLacey · 09/11/2011 20:33

Oh yes, got the ID bracelets, the card they wrote her name on and stuck to the crib thingy, any old tut from the hospital. I've only recently thrown out the nightie I gave birth in...it wasn't washed.... Blush Blush

GwennieF · 09/11/2011 20:52

Haha MTM, I have all my cards too!

Am really struggling with all the precious works of art that they bring home daily from nursery - I know I can't keep them all!

louisdog · 09/11/2011 20:55

I am glad it's not just me then :) so excited as it's my first!

I am keeping the sticks too, especially now I know I don't have to fear wee mould!

Forgot to say - congratulations!

SacreLao · 09/11/2011 21:01

I took a total of 19 tests Blush

I also took photo's of every single test, first individually and then a group photo of them all Blush

In my defence I was very shocked and happy to be pregnant after such a long time trying, I also still have all the tests.

Unlurked · 09/11/2011 21:01

Just read this thinking you're all a bit mad, I didn't keep tests take pictures or keep umbilical cord stumps. Then I thought "I know where dd1s identity bracelet is... but where is dd2s?? Oh god I've lost it I'm a terrible mother panic panic" then I remembered dd2 was born at home. She didn't have to have her name written on her. Phew!

I'm an idiot.

But you're all still a bit mad Grin

Crosshair · 09/11/2011 21:05

Congrats!

I did and the test is actually sat on dp's desk. Shock

ExquisiteCake · 09/11/2011 21:51

I took a photo as I was in the supermarket toilets and wanted to send it to dh!
