I have slightly sore and slightly enlarged boobs, but not massively. Did not go up a bra size yet. Even this soreness is on off. I developed some acne from week 5 and it is still there but now it feels dry as well. I feel tired most of the time but some days I am shattered at about 6 p.m. I went off food from early pregnancy and lost about 2 kilos now I do want to eat again but detest most things I liked before.
I don't wee more often and don't have any sickness.

Hiya Katherine, you sound a bit like me! am 7+4 ish and I've been worrying about everything lack of symptoms, the only thing I really notice is tiredness, feel exhausted most of the time. I have felt a bit sick a few times, but not on the same scale as others have described. Have been a bit bloaty and, er, windy (sorry) ...... Boobs feel sort of full and a bit sensitive, but not really sore.....

I wish there was a little window so I could just look in and check the baby is really in there! I guess all we can do is try not to worry, I keep telling myself that there's no reason to think everything isn't ok, if that makes sense?

All the best, Em x

KatherineCam · 07/11/2011 20:13

Yes, I feel the same. We need a test that can monitor our pregnancies day by day so we can be relaxed and happily glowing:) I also wish it will be cheap.

I'm just 6 weeks and have mild nausea but boobs haven't changed size at all which worries me a bit! I am getting up for a wee in the night though which I don't normally do. Yes a daily indicator would be brilliant!!

Xandrass · 07/11/2011 20:24

I'm 6 weeks 3 days and was sick for the first time today when my dp reminded me to take my folic acid?? The thought of it made me gag, though I've just taken it absolutely fine now. My boobs are bigger, probably not a size but they fill out my bras now which I've never really had before.

I am also absolutely shattered, can't believe how much I've slept but don't know how much is baby and how much is other things.

I sometimes wish I had 'worse' symptoms just so I felt more pregnant, don't know if more will hit me and I'll regret saying that though :)

Oh and I had loads of spots but they've all cleared up now too. Felt like a teenager!

emblosion · 07/11/2011 20:27

Am loving the idea of the daily indicator, lol! If we could invent one I feel sure we'd make a fortune Grin

Yummymummyyobe1 · 07/11/2011 20:28

Hi,

By week 6 I had a huge bust, was really tired and had awful nausea. I am pleased to say it should get better for you all the tirdness lessens and the nausea gets better. I'm now 15 + 1.

KatherineCam · 08/11/2011 08:40

I am counting days to my u/s on Friday. Today I don't have anything apart from heartburn but I had it at times even before I got pregnant. I need something -nausea, tender boobs, frequent peeing to make me feel more pregnant.

I'm 6+3. Have had insomnia (from 4am) since before 4 weeks. Poor appetite, particularly off anything remotely healthy. With DD1 I don't think I ate a single vegetable in the first trimester. Can eat satsumas and marmite toast all day though. Feel queasy but not really nauseous yet. Can still manage to drink tea. With DD I couldn't even look at a tea bag once I'd had the BFP. Boobs a bit tingly sometimes, but not bigger yet

I had an mc at about this stage in June, so constantly anxious and stupidly wishing for a bit of real sickness, which I'll regret as soon as it starts!

KatherineCam · 08/11/2011 09:36

Funny enough I am just eating satsumas:) I also have a hard time to find food that looks appealing. However I eat more now than I did at 4-5 weeks.

Just stared at my breasts at the mirror again :). They are not sore but may be the veins are more pronounced. I think by this time in first pregnancy I went up a cup size, or my memory is playing tricks....

belindarose · 08/11/2011 09:41

I wonder if breasts change less in a second/ subsequent pregnancy because they've already been through the major changes once. I was amazed at the changes in the first pregnancy. Went from a b cup to an EE! DH has weekly photographic evidence!

KatherineCam · 08/11/2011 09:55

Lucky you:). I had similar experience with my first. The only problem for DH was that he could admire them but not touch - they were too painful:)

belindarose · 08/11/2011 10:00

Yes, they really hurt at first, I remember. Ow.

lotte76 · 08/11/2011 10:39

I'm 6 weeks today, and waking up at 5am every morning! Also big sore boobs and slight nausea in mornings. Really missing my coffee at the mo!

belindarose · 08/11/2011 10:47

I'm having one coffee in the mornings as I have terrible headaches without. Another cup of tea in the day if I want it and have found some nice decaf filter coffee for the rest.

KatherineCam · 08/11/2011 17:58

I do the same - espresso in the morning, after that I stay on water/herbal or decaf tea and have another proper tea in the afternoon. I found a really nice decaf green tea in Tesco but it is too far away from me so I have to order. I order decaf lattes in Starbucks when I am out and about:)

PieMistress · 08/11/2011 20:38

I've moved onto Redbush (caffeine free) tea. Taylors of Harrogate also do a nice 50/50 blend of filter coffee (half de-caff, half normal filter coffee).

ScrummyYummyMummy · 08/11/2011 21:25

I'm 7 wks and have pretty sore boobs now. When I had DD1 I had nausea all the time. Glad to say, none of this at the moment, although pregnancy fatigue has set in now.

Thanks for coffee tips @PieMistress I'll look out for the Taylor's of Harrogate. I'm missing my caffeine!

DizzyKipper · 09/11/2011 07:19

I'm 7+3. Was having sore nipples but they seem to have gone away again. Get nauseous sometimes and quite often distinctly feel that I don't want to eat something - working out what I want to eat is harder. Only been actually sick once though this whole time. Not sure about the fatigue - I've always had a bit of fatigue anyway and it certainly doesn't seem to have increased. Face is a bit spottier - oh the joys. Occasionally get mild cramps. Not weeing any more in particular, no longer extremely thirsty. For the most part I'm feeling quite unpregnant and am waiting for the bean to get bigger so I can really feel like I am in fact upduffed.

KatherineCam · 09/11/2011 12:44

Yeah, my symptoms still did not come back. Apart from tiredness (also not everyday) I don't really have any symptoms anymore. My breasts are a little bit enlarged just like before the period but not sore. 2 more days for the scan. I wish I can be less paranoid and get on with my regular life while I am still ok with no bum on the way....

OP posts:
belindarose · 09/11/2011 12:48

Are you having a private scan, KC? Sorry to be nosy.

I can only manage satsumas, marmite toast and ritz crackers. Exactly je same diet as first trimester with DD. Also have lots of spots (gross ones, like boils). Some cramping around my lower abdomen yesterday evening, but haven't had that today.

MockCroc · 09/11/2011 14:59

Well this has cheered me. I am 7 weeks today. Felt terrible about one to two weeks ago with exhaustion and nausea but I am now feeling much better which is making me neurotic. Just a bit tired, a bit nauseous and a bit of tenderness in the chest department, but nothing particularly dramatic. I had a scan a week ago showing a tiny heartbeat but, virtually the day after, the symptoms reduced dramatically. Waiting is not easy is it????

KatherineCam · 09/11/2011 23:06

belindarose - I am doing it privately (just like with my first pregnancy) because I travel a lot for work and I need to know that everything is ok before I take a flight and get stuck in lengthy meetings.
MockCroc - I keep reading everywhere that loosing your symptoms by week 7 is totally ok ( very hard to believe, I know). Symptoms may still come back or not at all. I don't know why some people wish for MS, but I want to have some soreness/enlargement in my boobs - it makes me feel pregnant and it looks good while not yet accompanied by huge bum.
Have a nice pregnant day tomorrow:)

OP posts:
belindarose · 10/11/2011 21:04

Good luck with the scan tomorrow, Katherine.

I've felt very nauseous all day today and have resorted to the 'sea bands' that I found helpful with my first pregnancy. Just can't make myself eat properly. I'm sure if I could I'd have more energy and would generally feel better.

PieMistress · 10/11/2011 21:56

Good luck tomorrow katherine! I am trying to hold out to 8 weeks (if I make it that far!)

I can't seem to stop eating which is a bit alarming as will be piling on the pounds at this rate, but it's the only thing that keeps the nausea at bay! At the moment I am nibbling on cheesy oatcakes and salted popcorn!

I am significantly heavier and more unfit than with my first pregnancy. With DS I was a mad keen runner with a flat stomach - those days are long gone! I'm now a blob!

I miscarried at 7 weeks last time (baby stopped developing at 5/6 weeks) so am utterly bricking it right now (will be 7 weeks on Monday) :(

scrummy here is the coffee I was talking about (50% less caffeine)

ShockinHolyTempers · 10/11/2011 22:05

I'm 6+3 and have sore boobs, bras won't fit so am just not bothering!
Very queasy indeed. The worst thing is the thirst though. I'm so thirsty all the time.

Water doesn't seem to quench it so went to the shops today and bought a watermelon, grapes, satsumas, ice cream, ice cubes, ice pops made from orange juice, grapefruit juice and orange juice (don't normally even like it) ....

The orange juice ice-pops are the best thing ever, juicy and thirst quenching and help with the nausea!
