I swear hormones have a ton to answer for. Today I got upset because I couldn't find any of DDs sippy cups. Tuesday I cried because the place I was calling to track my order was constantly engaged.

I cried yesterday morning when there were two soldiers selling poppies outside the trainstation. One was playing the bagpipes and the other was holding the tray of poppies;it was raining and I got all emotional thinking about how brave they were and how sad it was that all the poppies were getting wet Blush. In fact, this was what made me first suspect I was pregnant!

So far I cried when karate kid won at the end of the film Blush even though everyone already knows the ending!

I cried at Tangled where rapunzel goes back to the castle and sees that her parents never gave up looking for her even after all those years Sad

And I wailed after I'd asked DH to take a photo of my baby bump and when he showed me I swore blind he'd fat-boothed the photo (which he hadn't) BlushBlushBlush

LB1982 - the exact same thing happened to me.

I also went catatonic because subway was shut. My friend turned up and from the devestated look on my face thought I had lost the baby. It took me about an hour to get over it.

winemakesmeclever · 04/11/2011 07:21

I cried when I couldn't turn the shower off. I was at a bit of a low ebb that day it must be said.

Dummyhunter · 04/11/2011 11:37

I remember crying when pregnant with DD at the advert at the time for KitKat, featuring a cartoon tortoise on its back, being unable to turn over. I sobbed thinking about the poor tortoise trapped on its shell for ever and ended up emailing the Advertising Standards Agency and ranting at them for allowing it Blush.

Ray81 · 04/11/2011 14:09

I cried this morning, infact sobbed my heart out, scared the life out of DH when he walked in the room and when he said 'whats wrong, whats happened?' i said ' i dont know why i am crying'. Felt like a right idiot.

Savannahrose · 04/11/2011 15:09

I cried when I couldn't tune the radio and it kept crackling :( oh and when I rang Eon this morning...posted a thread about that one swear it's not hormones. Eon are crap!

LuckyRocketshipUnderpants · 04/11/2011 18:51

I bawled my eyes out while watching "Juno" recently. Probably not the best choice of film for a hormonal, pregnant woman.

GetOrfMo1Land · 04/11/2011 18:57

I cried about a spoon. I went to buy a steel spoon to use for cooking, for some reason my pregnant brain saw £2.59, but the spoon was actually £5.29. I really didn't want to spend a fiver on a spoon but bought it anyway, and then cried on the way to the bus stop.

That is one of the most vivid memories of the pregnancy. I have still got that spoon 16 years on. Grin

bigkidsdidit · 04/11/2011 19:12

I bought and read a lot of children's books for DS when I was about 8 months. When I read Mog the forgetful cat I wept about poor Mog, out in te garden, forgetting she'd had her supper :(

Poor Mog! I read it to now 10 month DS last week and giggled to myself about how tragic I was Grin

Thumbelina79 · 06/11/2011 18:12

I cried at 4am because I had another horrible nightmare and my husband said we should consider Damian as a name.

ShockinHolyTempers · 06/11/2011 18:15

I cried yesterday watching an interview with Pixie Lott on TV. The host asked her to sing 'Isn't she lovely' by Stevie Wonder (acapella) and big wet tears spilled down my cheeks.

Had to hide under a couch cosy so DP wouldn't see me and think I was totally mad! Blush

MarkStretch · 06/11/2011 18:24

Yesterday I was really hungry and I ate 2 bowls of leek and potato soup. Then I cried because the soup made me feel really hot.

ArtyFartyPants · 06/11/2011 18:41

I cried last night because my DP was too tired to do the deed with me......it was out anniversary, I'm entitled to a bit of nookie right? Sad

lizmarshmallow · 06/11/2011 20:51

I cried at the SSPCA advert where it talks about what would happen to your pets if you died. There was this poor cat sitting outside the window trying to get into the empty house!

hokeycakey · 06/11/2011 22:01

I just cried at a firework display looking at dd's little face as she kept making wheeeeee and bang noises. It's awful once you start though I can never stop!

Yummymummyyobe1 · 06/11/2011 22:41

Well today I cried because I could not think straight or open jelly worms and then again when we drove past the house that my partner and I will be picking the keys up for next week. I also cried because we found Scampi fries in the supermarket. I could have kept a tissue compay in busniess today.

I wept the other day when dp shaved his beard off for that movember thing. I couldn't look at him until he got rid of the moustache as well! Blush

MamaLazarou · 08/11/2011 14:00

Because I thought some deer would be cold in the winter.

Because I thought some ducks might be bored.

AllIWant85 · 08/11/2011 15:26

I cried twice last week for the first time in about 5 years...

Firstly because i put my socks on inside out and then secondly because Google didn't have the answer to my question! Blush

Thumbelina79 · 08/11/2011 17:03

lizmarshmallow I hear you on that advert - its awful

kenobi · 08/11/2011 17:07

I got the time wrong on a pregnancy yoga class and was 15 mins late and the instructor was cross with me and told me I should have called to check the time EVEN THOUGH I DID AND I LEFT A MESSAGE BUT NO ONE CALLED ME BACK.

I went home sobbing harder and harder with each step and when I got home DH was watching the rugby finals with all his mates. I refused to cry in front of them so I made him sit on our step in the street and comfort me.

Bless him, he didn't even complain.

Tanyaaah · 08/11/2011 17:14

I cried when I heard an ambulance go past the other day.

BelleEnd · 08/11/2011 17:14

Oh God my face is frozen after a filling, and it's about to crack with the laughter! Especially about the bored ducks!

I cried when Stars by Simply Red came on the radio Blush
