I swear hormones have a ton to answer for. Today I got upset because I couldn't find any of DDs sippy cups. Tuesday I cried because the place I was calling to track my order was constantly engaged.

oh, and I cried last night because I sat on the loo and broke the toilet seat. OH had to hold back the laughter as I blubbed about being a fat mess ... (I'm on 16 wks and not even showing yet!)

SixStringWidow · 03/11/2011 16:44

I cried last night while watching Frozen Planet when I found out that the underweight polar bear had not made it Sad

Dummyhunter · 03/11/2011 16:45

Not stupid but still cried when DH came home with a pair of shoes that are identical to my fav ones (the ones l'd got holes in) he must have searched everywhere for them.

Also cried when he had a vary rare day out with his mate (he was rather tipsy) and when l picked him up at tea time he marched everyone out of the pub, mates, random strangers and the barmaid Hmm in the rain! to look at this beautiful pregnant wife (no makeup, hair tied back and knackered) and his stunning daughter who is so very very pretty!

LalalalalalaSummerHoliday · 03/11/2011 16:47

I cried at the lovely story of the farmer on the back of the Fairtrade Orange Juice. 20wks I was.

Dolcegusto · 03/11/2011 16:50

I spilt a pint of milk and spent half an hour crying.

I was literally crying over spilt milk Grin

This morning over the fact that not a single pair of boots fits on my swollen feet. A 30 min cry that I had to wear ugly old ankle boots with elastics because they are the only ones I could pull on...

GusTheOneEyedPolarBear · 03/11/2011 17:31

Didn't really do crying with ds but in this pregnancy, at 8 weeks i sat and cried for about 30 mins at the last 15 mins of toy story three because andy was going away and giving the toys to the little girl and then again at 33 weeks (sunday just gone) because i'd just brought the cat some duck flavour cat food and ds was singing 5 little ducks as we were going round the shop which made me feel bad for the ducks in the cat food because they wouldn't have been able to go swimming in the pond because they'd ended up as cat food. I then thought i'd feel better if i brought a different cat food but thought that the ducks were still dead whether i brought it or not so then felt worse. (I swear normally i'm a cold hearted cynic. God only knows where all this sentimental over thinking about bloody cat food came from!) hormones definately have a lot to answer for.

mumt1 · 03/11/2011 18:49

HidingInTheUndergrowth · 03/11/2011 18:50

Yesterday I burst into tears because dp had put the shreddies on a high shelf and I couldn't reach them. I really, really wanted some cereal Blush

TerrysNo2 · 03/11/2011 19:40

I sobbed and sobbed last night when I came home from the cinema and DH opened the door and looked at me crossly as he'd been asleep in bed. It was far tamer than what I've had said to him!

Minus273 · 03/11/2011 19:47

I spent hours sobbing last weekend over what someone said to me on MN Blush.

budgieshell · 03/11/2011 19:53

I cried 10 years ago when pregnant with DD (a lot). The worst one was fitting those smelly draw liners in a draw and they where not the exact same size.
I didn't cry when DH suggested I trim them to size, I very nearly killed him (mood swings where the worst).
Still cry a lot, in fact cried when I read about Dummyhunters lovely DH (how sweet).

tassisssss · 03/11/2011 19:57

I cried (ok sobbed) when DH came home with a chinese takeaway and hadn't got prawn crackers!

thefudgeling · 03/11/2011 20:02

two I remember are:

  1. Crying because there were too many people at the swimming pool and no lanes so I couldn't have a swim.
  1. Crying to madonna's 'lucky star' on the radio.
UniPsychle · 03/11/2011 20:09

Cried at Octonauts (oh the shame) when the baby dolphin had lost it's mummy dolphin and Peso reunited them.

Loss of food seems to be a big theme here; I also cried when I realised I had left my lunch box with a lovely slice of homemade cake in the office and couldn't go back to get it before it would had gone off!

Thumbelina79 · 03/11/2011 20:19

I cried because I couldn't lift a giant pumpkin out of a really deep box at Tesco

2wwmadness · 03/11/2011 20:26

I cried making dh a cup of coffee. Because the smell of the coffee reminded me of all the cups of coffee we had had together and how much I love him. I was a blubbering wreck when I gave it to him

blueskydrinking · 03/11/2011 20:31

Oh god I cry at everything at the moment. The real me generally doesn't cry even when I'm supposed to, so it's a bit surreal.

ceebeegeebies · 03/11/2011 20:33

I was in a service station by myself, had just bought myself a KFC meal and as I was walking back to a table with the tray, the drink fell off and spilt everywhere... I cried Blush The staff were lovely but must have thought I was a bit odd Wink

morethemerrier · 03/11/2011 20:33

Just been to Phonics Presentation evening at DS2's school they showed a slideshow of all the children with the Toy Story,'youve got a friend in me' song, as if that wasn't enough to turn me into a snotty, pig snorting wreck (in front of a hall full of people!) Blush

They then proceeded to show snippets of the children doing activities and DS2 was shown being very cute which drew 'awwws' from the audience, game over!!!

Cue whole row of people frantically rummaging around for tissues completley disturbing the presentation!!! Thank goodnes I am visably pregnant (18 weeks DC4) otherwise think they would thought I was having a breakdown!

KenDoddsDadsDog · 03/11/2011 20:37

Sobbed so much at the Shawshank Redemption it had to be turned off.
Hysterically cried in Morrissons as I saw a man who couldn't walk properly and felt sorry for him.

Dnomaid · 03/11/2011 20:40

I cried whenever my DH did something lovely- especially when I had SPD and couldn't move. Then I cried everyday that the twins were in SCBU ( have to admit DH not much better than me about this).
But when does it stop?!? I was blubbing today when I was reading a story -because the bear looks so sad at the end (bear hunt). They are now 8 months old and I'm still an emotional wreck! Blush

CopperLocs · 03/11/2011 21:59

Yesterday I cried because my computer crashed at work!

babybunintheoven · 03/11/2011 22:19

When Sheldon hugged Penny in the big bang theory, this evening. Blush
