Did you have any very early pregnancy symptoms before a missed period?

Just wondering out of interest.

This is my first month of TTC so the chances are I won't be pregnant unless i'm very lucky but I haven't been feeling myself the last couple of days (due on next Sunday). In my last pregnancy I had dizzy spells a week before my due on date and so knew I must be pregnant.

Anyone else have any symptoms?

Well I was watching one born after Christmas last year and couldn't stop crying, but my broodieness had disappeared Hmm

I think I had sore breasts too

What does poas mean? Sorry i'm relatively new on here!

I've been feeling really irritable, like PMS but it's too early for me to have PMS, I could punch someone, that's how I feel but it comes and goes. Also been feeling a bit queasy, like my mouth is watering up all the time but it goes when I eat something. That's all really, no other symptoms and it may be all in my head. I fell pregnant first month of trying last time but I was four years' younger and i'm 38 now so definitely thinking I can't be this lucky again!

i fell pregnant first month of trying both times, am due tomorrow! first time felt sick, tearful etc about 3 days before period, tested early and bingo. this time had no real signs but tested day early, very faint line, and faint lines for next 3 days. good luck!

Yes strange tingly sore breasts and one day of feeling almost like I had flu. Exactly the same both times. I was certain I was PG with DD2 before I tested even though I'd only been trying 3 months and DD1 took 18+

both times I had intense period-like pains a few days before my period was due - total giveaway the second time.

Like puddlejumper I had a horrid taste in my mouth like sucking a rusty spoon and then a couple of days later got tingly boobs

Really vivid dreams for about a week before (I only tested yesterday!), tingly tender boobs, aching lower back and a dry mouth!

Hiya

I fell pregnant the first month of trying and my early signs included a strange 'bubbling' sensation in my abdomen - particularly on a night in bed, sore boobs and (sorry if this is TMI) everything felt a bit 'softer' downstairs when wiping after a wee! Blush

The only thing I had was mild cramp early one morning associated with 'implantation' where the egg 'docks' against the uterus wall. That was literally it. No sickness, no sore boobs, no tiredness, nothing else.

The Breadstick - I had a similar bubbly feeling that you describe a couple of nights ago, it actually felt a bit like a baby moving. Okay cart me off now to the phantom baby clinic!

I new I was pregnant with my first 2 weeks before I was due on cz of my crampy feelings in belly and back pain, tested at 4 weeks n positive. This time round, I basically felt errm crap and have done since! They say a positive is the earliest symptom but I can honestly say I got plenty before I tested positive at 1 week late, and I used clear blue and first response when I was due and everything tested negative. So don't worry if they say negative. Good luck! Oh and mouth watering is also a symptom. Well is for me! Feels like I've constantly gt a swimming pool in my mouth! Gross

Second month of TTC for me and I knew I was as everytime I picked up the phone at work I would be retching, and rush to get the caller off the line (work on a switchboard too, so a right royal pain)

Also, couldn't stand my nipples being under the shower.

And, had the worst 'period' type cramps.

Tested using a cheapie Boot own the day before AF due, and hey presto!

I felt violently sick about 5 days before my period was even due, but didn't get a BFP until I was about 4 days late. Was very odd. Had sore nips too when feeding (DD1).

Should have clarified, felt constantly nauseous until I was about 13 weeks, so bad that I was signed off work and had TV scans to check for twins and molar pregnancy at 6 and 8 weeks. Wasn't nice cos at the 6 week scan there was only a (huge) sac visible, no foetal pole, but she was there, with a nice big heartbeat, at the 8 weeks scan, but it was the longest two wek wait of my entire life.

Yes, I had the loudest grumbling stomach I ever had in my life. It was really embarrassing. Audible to everyone within a 200 metre radius of me. :)

Do you think it's possible to imagine symptoms? I'm not due on for another week and a bit, but have been feeling sick all week, have sore boobs, backache and knackered. Might be time for the loony bin.

I don't know lostlenore probably. If I wasn't ttc I wouldn't think twice of how I was feeling probably. I'll let you know in a week!

KBlu - I'm with you. Due next Sunday / Monday, TTC 1st cycle. Sore boobs. Veiny boobs (the first sign I had with DS1). Cramping and a tiny amount of spotting today. Furious with the world yesterday.

I hope I'm not imagining it...

For me it was sore swollen boobs, bloating, hot flushes and gut feeling that I was. Good luck!
