What not to say to a pregnant woman

No doubt this sort of thread has been done before but I'm 33 weeks pregnant with third DC and still amazed at what people feel they can say to you when you are expecting - some if it really quite rude and at times upsetting!

So - what are the worst things someone has said to you when pregnant? How about a top ten things of NOT to say...

e.g. last night 'if you're that size now imagine what you're going to be when the time comes...' (i'm really not that big, this was from a female neighbour who I know as a neighbour rather than a good friend).

Some ideas of cutting responses would also be great!

I have 4 ds's and am now pg, I'm sick of people making rude comments about "having no tv" or "maybe dh should have the snip" and the worst ones are that I'm obviously " trying for a girl" I even get that from total strangers! It makes me so angry

Re names: I totally agree with posters above, I don't expect everyone to love our chosen name BUT I also don't want to hear it and at least after the baby is born people won't be rude enough to make a negative comment to your face :)

"Oh, are you pregnant? That's a lovely little bump you've got". I was 5 weeks and had only taken the test a few days earlier.

I too hate it when people ask if it was planned. I don't ask about their sex lives so what right to do they have to ask about ours? I've thought about telling them all about my menstrual cycle and the days on which we had sex and how I think that my due date is a couple of days earlier than I think it should be, but decided that's probably tmi.
