Approx 10+4 here and everyday is a struggle. I had two weeks off sick when I was pg with DD when I was in the early stages with her but have worked through it all this time around, God knows how.
Sickness subsided at around 14 weeks with DD so this one BETTER do the same
Im my experience:
1st trimester - you feel like shit, but as your baby is so tiny you feel all the sickness is unwarranted because it doesnt feel real yet. Especially if you havent told anyone.
2nd trimester - after you've had the scan and you see theres actually a baby in there, and if your sickness goes, your energy comes back and you're "blooming" (whatever that means) I started to think pregnancy aint that bad. Hence be having a 2nd DC. Hair/nail grow loads, cute little bump, first flutters, then full on kicks, interacting with your baby. Love this bit actually.
3rd trimester - bump gets bigger and starts to actually get in the way physically. Every one comes out with their "you sure you're not having twins?" "you not dropped yet?" "you're having a boy/girl, I just know it" nonsense. The constant toilet visits return because your baby thinks your bladder is a trampoline and your ribs are for football practice. You've done the whole pregnancy malarky and the impatience kicks in, you just want your child. All the while everyone will try and give you their over exaggerated horror stories of birth/surgery/blood/guts and glory. I got fed up and miserable at this point, if you cant tell
But hey, you've just got to focus on what its all in aid of and play the long game which I am not good at and cant wait for anything Cliche alert: it really is worth it in the end though
