Ooh, sounds like it's really happening then. When are you supposed to go to hospital? Is it when contractions are 3 minutes apart?

Busyalexsmummy · 27/11/2005 00:50

Do you think? I dont want to look stupid as I know it could be false labour/many hours to go yet, shit anougher pain

Are you having a home birth or hospital. I'd be on the phone now if were you.

Busyalexsmummy · 27/11/2005 00:52

is there a general rule as to how long each contraction should last? these are all over the place, some are lasting 15 secs others 30 or more??(you'd think id know, its my 2nd baby

God when I was in labour there was no way I could time then. I have no idea how long they should last but it felt like forever.
