Boys, boys, boys...

Just a random thought, over the months I've been reading threads on here I've noticed that there seems to be an underlying disappointment with many people when they find out that they're having a baby boy. I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed it? At present I really don't think I mind what sex baby I have but with my 20 week scan coming up I worried maybe deep down like other I do and I will have this feeling of disappointment for one sex or the other and that maybe I shouldn't find out at all...

i was devastated when i was told i was going to be having a boy, i mean i know its a 50/50 chance but i never wanted a boy (my stuff) but he was perfect and i couldnt love him any more, cooking number 4 and would prob be a little disappointed if it was a girl. i am so fickle.

I have a 16 month old boy and, if we have another one (a big IF), then I would rather have another boy. My boy is wicked and fun and yes he make a mess but so do I :) He is never able to keep clean and if there is a muddy puddle anywhere he is sure to find it but it definitely makes life interesting and I wouldn't swap it for anything. Maybe I've been living on a different planet but I haven't noticed this trend of looking disappointed at all...

I´m also a mother of two marvellous boys, ages 6 (Sep 15th) and 4 years (Oct 2nd) and now due to our 3rd bundle of joy 19th of september.
We don´t know if we´ll have a boy or a girl. ...well I hate to say but I do wish for a daughter this time but will be so blessed with another boy too for sure.
We didn´t want to know the sex, because in the end nothing you can do about it. Just be thankful about your baby!
