Labour must be close because not only am I absolutely starving, exhausted but unable to sleep let alone well!
But I swear if DP's elbow touches my arm one more time I will throttle him!
I cannot stand anyone near me and nearly everything is driving me mad with misery.
I am also highly emotional.

Come moan with me, please bring warm donuts Grin

I'm 36+6, can I join? I'm soooo fed up with this pregnancy, I want the baby out, I ache, I'm grumpy, my son is ill and I'm still working :(

grumps to self

buttonmoon78 · 06/07/2011 21:26

Are you having twins MissusCT - you're sooo big! Wink

mumblebum · 06/07/2011 21:28

Join in the moaning MissusCT, when do you finish work?

MissusCT · 06/07/2011 21:36

buttonmoon - [growls emoticon]

mumble - 18th July, it can't come soon enough!

nicolamumof3 · 06/07/2011 21:37

took a bump shot today not a pretty sight!

JimmyChoo17 · 06/07/2011 23:45

Finally waved flag at work today (38+4) and pleased to be off but as having weird sensation in back am paranoid I'm about to pop before taking any time just me on my own before baby! Had been panicking about reduced or muted movements but had more movement again just feels different so I guess that's space running out then! I have so much sky plus to get thru before baby arrives Grin I can hear my pulse in my ear at night...this isn't helping sleep alongside weeing, Uncomfortableness etc....

MummyTigger · 07/07/2011 00:30

I'm having trouble sleeping too. Seems like every time I want to shift I have to shift Baby too. Meaning that Baby then wakes up and goes nuts at me for waking him up. Stupid child >:-( Oh well, only 11 days until EDD!

And for what it's worth - swimming pools during late pregnancy are AMAZING!

JimmyChoo17 · 07/07/2011 00:41

I daren't go near a pool again as last time the baby joined in my aqua class and turned round the wrong way! But agree water is fab :)

Glad it's not just me awake then....I find the later I drop off mind, the deeper and better the sleep I get! I just posted on another topic about being due next week....suddenly dawned on me how close that is! I'm not mentally ready yet!

mumblebum · 07/07/2011 04:38

Morning all. It's my EDD today! I have a feeling the baby doesn't realise this though...

SpannerPants · 07/07/2011 05:49

Morning ladies. Woken up with horrible period-like cramping then couldn't get back to sleep because I'm so hungry - had to get up and have some cereal in the end! I've still got cramping but it's been on and off for weeks now so I'm not particularly hopeful that it's anything to get excited about.

EDD is now 3 days away but I've resigned myself to going over that - I was 2 weeks late afterall when I was born :(

JimmyChoo17 · 07/07/2011 07:41

I think I'm the only one willing baby to stay put at the moment! Mainly due to working so late so wanting some time to self before baby arrives. Which probably means I'm next! Going to see if can squeeze in the obligatory pre birth haircut today!

buttonmoon78 · 07/07/2011 07:55

Jimmy I've been skyplussing loads of films to watch after the birth whilst feeding!

MummyT maybe you'll have a very sleepy baby! Mine takes exception to the mattress being on the 'wrong' side when I turn over...

Spanner hopefully this time it'll be it though!

prolificwillybreeder · 07/07/2011 09:00

minimumblebum calling minimumblebum. please head to the departure lounge ASAP you are due to leave your current location and board to the outside world. Ahem, NOW please Grin

jimmy great idea, sky + lots of things, I need to get s collection going.
*spanner, I've had period cramps on and off for days too. It's so annoying nothing seems to happen. Topped off with my SPD, I have no idea what's pelvic pain or labour pain anymore :(
Fingers crossed this time it's it for you :)
mummyT as button said maybe you'll have a sleepy baby. Mine doesn't seem to want to wake up before 8. All well and good but DS gets up at 6:30. I am one tired PWB!

Hope everyone has a good day and doesn't get too wet! I know we need rain but could it rain at night and be sunny during the day?

(sneaking in)

For the first time in I don't know how long I slept from 11-8:30 am - plus/minus bathroom breaks. I feel AMAZING! I am just so happy I don't know what to do.

Sure that was my last one of those types of sleeps until my child is 18. Glad to have the memory in any case.

JIMMY - I am not too sure I want the baby here right now either. Give me until early next week to have a bit of time to myself but I think my body is waving the white flag. It wants it out NOW.

prolificwillybreeder · 07/07/2011 09:04

Sorry for the errors! That will serve me right for not previewing!

mornign everywhere.

I def know where your comign from with the cramps/spd pain, i don't know if im coming or going or what is what.

started walk to school and realised my top not even covering my bump this morning! So off to change in a minute before toddler group.

3become4 · 07/07/2011 09:50

Can I join in the moaning too please?! DC2 was due on Monday but I'm still here and spending more and more time in tears! Really struggling with DC1 now and just about everything else. Was glad DC2 didn't arrive early as the house was in chaos and still not really sure I want it to arrive as just don't have a clue how I'm going to cope. With labour, with a newborn, with DC1, with having my parents to stay, with everything!

Also, I've been having a bit of period type pain too (and some BH I think) but also what I call jelly legs. I always get kind of weak tired achey legs when I get my period. Is it remotely relevant that I'm getting them now too or do you think that's just cos I have a huge bump to lug around everywhere?

Grump.

loubuch09 · 07/07/2011 11:04

HANG IN THERE...IT DOES COME TO AN END! 2 WEEKS LATE.....
Baby GIRL arrived at 2.18 5th July Kitty Buchanan weighing 9.11 oz!
Gruelling 48 hours labour but still worth it in the end!

nicolamumof3 · 07/07/2011 11:12

3become, I know how you feel how old is your dc1?

I struggled alot in my last pg as ds2 was only 18m old at the end of my pg, had only just started walking and was really hard work.

Slightly more fortunate this time, as my boys are 12, 5.5 and almost 4. But now have more school/nursery runs today all on foot. So pretty knackering still.

Huge congrats lou, lovely name, but ouch at that weight!! Hope i don't go two weeks over Shock due date not til 16th so that would take me to end of month..waaaaah!

Orbinator · 07/07/2011 11:12

Hi guys. Really suffering here. Can't be arsed to do anything and feel everything still needs doing. Got carpel tunnel which means my hands and ankles are swollen and sore until about midday every day which hasn't helped. To top it off I've had 3 UTI's in this pg and MW did a test on Monday and said that even after the last batch of antibiotics I still have it. It's ruddy e-coli! She couldn't believe I wasn't vomming all over the place. Awaiting confirmation of it today but only one more antibiotic I can take :(
Sorry for the ranty rant.

buttonmoon78 · 07/07/2011 11:13

Congratulations! Envy

3become4 · 07/07/2011 12:03

Thanks Nicola! DD is 2yrs 9 months. She's great but just really knows what she wants at the moment and wants to be SO independent which just gets tiring when she wants to do stuff on her own which she can't quite manage - she gets frustrated, I get frustrated... And potty training is a nightmare too! She isn't keen on that element of independence at all! Can totally relate to the nursery runs on foot too - hers is about 0.2 miles away and it took over an hour yesterday with her antics along the way (and my waddling)!

Congrats Lou!

Poor you Orbinator - that sounds really tough.

MummyTigger · 07/07/2011 12:13

OOOh... sleepy baby would be great! :D

Congrats on the baby LouBuch! Is it true what they say by the way? The bigger the baby the quicker the birth? Don't know if I've asked this before or not... probably have!

11 days til EDD. Driving me MENTAL. Get off my hip, you sod, I can barely walk! Hope I'm next in line for dropping!

MiniMummyMonster · 07/07/2011 13:02

Hello Ladies. Great thread. Am 38+2 and EXTREMELY PIGGED OFF. Run own business (and it is so busy it's crazy) so still working but really tired and uncomfy now. Struggling to sleep and my pelvis is KILLING ME! Not sure if I'll get any time off before Labour starts and feeling very overwhelmed :(

SpannerPants · 07/07/2011 13:05

Well done Lou!

I've had a very lazy morning and am now debating leaving the house to go and get a nice sandwich from M&S. I've still got cramps despite paracetamol. I don't think they're contractions as it's constant pain and just at the bottom of the bump, but it's really uncomfortable :( makes me worry how I'm going to cope with labour!
