What are people naming their newborn baby girls....

...sorry for another name thread.... but I'm due (today!) and we are still struggling with names. TBH, I'm not too worried, but DH seems to be getting a bit manic about it. :-)

What are the most common names of baby girls being born this year that you know. Which names do you like (and which do you think are a bit overdone?)

I liked Kathryn, Heather and Ophelia.
Only problem with Ophelia is that what if she married someone called Mr Bottom, or Mr Balls

bbb - I love the name Ruby.
(it's our cat's name!)

For DB, Roisin for a girl and Logan if it's a boy.

Laura Kate and Isabelle Marguerite were the girls names I liked when I was having my DS's!

I've got two friends who are pregnant at the minute and they like Lydia and Nina.

bebejam, big vote for Clara, i think it's great, one of ds's nannyshare children is called Clara and she is stonkingly gorgeous

My only 'rule' when naming my little ones was that the name was not to appear in the top 50 names for the previous year!
