Bleeding at 11 weeks

Littlepic · 11/06/2011 11:18

I am 11 +2 weeks, woke up this morning and was bleeding slightly. This is not the first time it has happened. This will be the third time and so I am managing to stay relatively calm!!!

The blood is dark and looks like old blood, I have no abdominal cramping or pain.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen multiple times as I now have?

I'm due my 12 week scan next Friday. Fingers crossed!!

Reiki is a fab treatment its healing to help with emotions will try to find you a link to explain it better
here we go www.reikifed.co.uk/pub/about/reiki/index.shtml thats a link to the reiki federation website tells you all about reiki and the history of it.

Reiki is a treatment but its also something you can attune to yourself if you feel its right for you. You could then do the treatment on yourself and your family with the level 1.

Spa weekend be lovely dont know where abouts you live but my favorite is hoar cross hall I worked there for 2 years along with other health spas and its the best one I been too they have a fab 2 hours treatment called the ultimate a facial chakra rebalancing massage.
Really good if your emotional.

Any spa is nice thou reiki is prob offered at most spas.

Have you seen the groupen page?

They often have great deals on for hotels and spa breaks.

Was looking on it the other day and there was a hotel break for 2 overnight plus 3 course meal for 69 pound in sheffield!!
I called my friend up and said that we should go is always fab offers on there.

Your right was very tearful before the scan especially as I havent been doing anything other than sitting in the house and seeing friends felt bit low about it still worried thou but hoping all will be ok and trying to get on with things now. xxxxx

Littlepic just read your message think I missed it before as the link gone on to a new page.

At the scan the lady there couldnt tell the gender as the baby was upside down in breech and moving around alot.

She actually found it hard to do the measurements as the baby was moving around so much was in there for quite a long time.

Didnt see the baby much as the screen was facing the lady un like the other scans I been too.

Actually spoke to the lady during the scan about the bleeding and said how worried I was and how many times it had happened and she just answered that "oh yes that happens to some woman might happen all the way thou". I told her that I hadnt really got any answers and had just been on the interent and reading books to possible causes and would really like to see someone to try to get it sorted.

Anyway after the scan a midwife asked me for a chat not my normal midwife and told her about all the different things I had read about meantioned the cervical erosion thing I read about and what happened when I had the coil fitted and she evenually said that if it happened again to call the hospital and come in that day to be examiend to see where the bleeding was coming from exactly and possible causes this is all at no risk to the baby.
Was quite pleased with that as now feel if I do bleed can go and see whats causing it and something being done about it.

Just thought I would meantion that littlepic cause I dont know if you could poss equire about having something simular done in the future if you need to. Hope you are well and when are you having your next scan? xxx

Morning!

Yes the scan was facing away from me too, but assumed that was because I was in the Early Pregnancy Unit and due to a problem rather than anything else.

My husband and I have just booked ourselves in for a spa day tomorrow, I cant wait - we've wanted to do it for a while and think now of all times we really need it. We live in Cornwall and didn't want to go too far so going to Fistral Bay. Really looking forward to it, got a really good package too :-)

I found the midwives most unhelpful but the doctors were really great and answered all the questions - i'm glad you got some answers. Last week when I knew something was up, once they said to come to the hospital I was so relieved that at least it was going to be checked out.

But fingers crossed for you both that it doesn't happen again. And if they seem unconcerned I would say that is a comfort.

I too have felt very low being on my own, but now Dave is here I feel so much better today, both physically and psychologically.

Onwards and upwards for us all I hope :-)

xxxx

Hi all,

I'm glad everyone is feeling more positive today. I'm not sure when my next scan is due as I'm still waiting for a date through the post. Some time around the 20 week mark I guess as long as I don't have any more problems. I think if I have more problems (hopefully not) I'll also push to try and find out the cause.

I've got my 16 week check up with the midwife next Thursday so I'm hoping to be able to hear the heart beat. It will be reassuring to hear it.

The spa day sounds like a great idea. Some time for you both to relax and talk things through.

Ok off to catch up on the tennis. Love to you both xxx

Got a appointment on the 12th of july to hear the heartbeat Im 15 weeks this week thou so we are about the same. Still been feeling sick have you had that?
xxxxx

Littlepic · 30/06/2011 09:58

I've been lucky and had very little sickness. My boobs are more sore and seem to have had a growth spurt over the last few days though!!!!!!

I think the sickness should settle down now we've entered the second trimester but everyone is different. A friend of mine didn't get any sickness until 15 weeks!!! The joy of pregnancy!!

Hope you feel better soon.

I'm due on 23rd December, how about you?

Im due the 23rd december too! Everyone keeps saying baby will come xmas day!!

Can imagine sitting there after meal and saying oh feel a bit full then all of a sudden now Im in labour lol!!

I had a swing of gaviscon this morning and let out a massive burp and threw up on the floor!!

So Im thinking its indigestion so been to work with a bottle of gaviscon in my bag.

I put quite alot of weight in the first trimester about stone and a half but lost about 9 pounds this trimester think it could be stress of just that Im not eating as much trying eat better could only eat chips for weeks without feeling sick. Trying to eat healty.

Have you been fitted for a maternity bra?
M & S good so much more comfy.xx

Littlepic · 30/06/2011 21:43

Oh no!!! No more burping! Hehe!

I've put on quite a lot of weight too. I daren't weigh myself. I've always been naturally slim so finding it strange/hard to see my stomach getting bigger. I'm hoping it's baby and not just fat.

Can't believe we are due on exactly the same day. I'm hopeful baby will come a few days after Christmas.

Just been to pregnancy yoga for the first time. Really enjoyable I recommend it if you have a class in your area.

I've just bought a new bra from M&S, very comfy and only £6. Bargin!

Hope your sickness settles soon xxx

Hubbydude · 13/11/2018 22:10

Hi everyone, I'm a little worried about my wife, she's 11 weeks pregnant and she's been doing so well so far, no morning sickness etc, however since yesterday she been bleeding small amounts through out the day, so we ended up going to the emgancey doctor and they've told us, that she's ok as long as the bleed doesn't get heave. Today again she's been bleed throughout the day and I've called the doctors and they've booked us in for Emergancy scan which is on Thursday. It's our first baby and we are both a little on edge. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
