Hi... so just been confirmed I'm due 10th (ish) of January and would love to get chatting to some others in the same area who are also expecting... As I said In the title that includes those of you due late 2011, as well - it's a very inclusive thread - as long as you'd be able to make some meet ups in Oxfordshire and you're going through some stage of reproduction then you'd be welcome :-)

I know there's at least one more of you out there (ghost - you there?)

Stats time:

ghosteditor · 21/11/2011 10:14

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 21/11/2011 10:16

Yes but may be a tad late due to a possible visit... unless anyone would be OK to do it friday instead...?

PurplePanda · 22/11/2011 22:33

Hi everyone, hope you're all ok. Everything is good here - started yoga last week and finding it really relaxing. I can't make this Thursday now, but could make Friday if others are free?
PenguinArmy - I live in Headington so you're quite nearby.

ghosteditor · 23/11/2011 09:13

I am still free either Thurs or Fri evenings, whatever works for the majority. Lucy, I know you were keen; would Friday be ok for you?

Lucycarr · 23/11/2011 16:04

Think fri is ok will check with J, can't actually do thur now either as J is working late so have no one to look after my boy.
If I can make it do you want to share a lift ghost?
L

ghosteditor · 23/11/2011 16:48

Yes I was going to suggest car sharing if we're on!

So no objections if we postpone from Thursday, ideally to Friday?

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 23/11/2011 19:24

None here - so this Friday, the 25th?

OP posts:
Rollersara · 23/11/2011 20:24

Not sure if I can make it, just exhausted at the moment, but Friday is probably better...

PenguinArmy · 23/11/2011 20:52

ok, so is it definitely Friday? Same time and place?

Lucycarr · 24/11/2011 10:36

Def fri but in Wallingford penguin, same time? Was that 7 or 730? Can't remember! Still haven't managed to check with hubby - too busy at work at mo - will collar him tonight!

Moobee · 24/11/2011 12:17

Hello, hopeful that I can make it - husband is arriving back from Munich though so I'll just pop in. Looking forward to it! :)

ghosteditor · 24/11/2011 12:21

Let's say 7pm shall we? for those who can make it - we'll certainly still be there at 7.30pm Smile

Lucy I'm happy to drive and pick you up if you like - do you want to PM me with your details?

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 24/11/2011 13:14

Dh is going out in Oxford, not sure what time, so I'll get him to drop me in Wallingford first and will hopefully be waiting with a nice table to wave people in. Um - just in case there's some kind of problem do we want to set up a mobile phone list and I can text people?

Lucycarr · 24/11/2011 23:39

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 25/11/2011 07:39

thought I'd check if under 18's are allowed, especially on a Friday night. I'm not too sure how it will pan out bringing DC2 but if cries a lot I'll just leg it.

MakesCakesWhenStressed · 25/11/2011 14:02

Well all the mums from my group go there after group for a coffee so they seem to be fairly used to small people! You can call them if you want to check though?

Hello, it's been a long and stressful day at work and my indigestion is almost making me sick. I feel dizzy and tired. Think I'll need to give it a miss tonight, sorry. :(

ghosteditor · 25/11/2011 17:23

Sorry to hear that moobee, hope you feel better soon. I just had the best sofa-nap ever and feel much better. Loving my non-working days!!!

Moobee · 25/11/2011 17:56

Thanks ghost. I stayed full time and it's hard - particularly in an overheated office. I have meetings all next week so it was one of my last days to sort stuff. There's no maternity replacement yet though so ivwas trying to handle all new tasks too. Hard.

PenguinArmy · 25/11/2011 22:27

I had a absolutely lovely time tonight ladies, thank you very much

(sorry if I droned on a bit too much)

ghosteditor · 25/11/2011 23:35

I had a fab time too and it was lovely to meet your dc2 Smile
