IrnBru cures all awful pregnancy symptoms. ;-)
Where abouts are you in Bonnie Scotland?

iknowanoldlady · 12/04/2011 08:27

Just popped back onto this Scottish thread to say hello Smile.

This is my second pregnancy, have a wee boy who is nearly 19 months, so he will be two and a bit by the time this one comes along, all being well.

Have started to feel really crappy during the night and in the morning, I don't think I was this nauseous first time around. It's rubbish. And reading this actually made me want an irn bru Grin but I shall stick to the fizzy water at the mo since there's none in the house!

IllanaN · 12/04/2011 08:39

LoveACuppaTea i am 7 weeks and i have all the symptoms you can imagine and i still dont feel pregnant enjoy the little symptoms you have while u can haha!

Renaissance227 · 12/04/2011 09:05

I was the same as you IllanaN. All the symptoms and still didn't feel it was real until I saw a scan last Sunday and cried!!
Still feeling dreadful at 12 weeks... does it ever end?!

Missgiraffe1 · 13/04/2011 09:02

Hello, I am around 5 weeks and Scottish (in Ayrshire),

Only symtpom I have at the mo is the need to eat constantly! I'm not usually a big morning eater, but now have to eat first thing, then again around 2 hours later! So unlike me!

Had to go visit my MIL in hospital in Dumfries yesterday and almost bit my OHs head off as I kept saying "I'm hungry", and he was like "me too, we'll get something in a little while, and I was like "I need to eat NOW!". Felt a wee bit like a petulant child Blush

sunface · 13/04/2011 09:47

hiya all! i'm 15weeks pregnant with my 3rd and scottish too - from Glasvegas. Symptoms all but gone now apart from still achy boobs. Reinassance127 - symptoms seem to tail off around the 14wk point - but then that just sent me into a paranoid spin thinking something was wrong, until i read a post on here saying it was the norm!

Cattleprod · 13/04/2011 09:52

I thought something exciting must have happened in Scotland 5 weeks and 4 days ago - maybe a big party where lots of people might have conceived!!! Grin

witches · 13/04/2011 10:02

Congratulations - the start is so exciting but my goodness i stressed bout every little thing! I am 25wks pregnant and am a bonnie(slightly rounder than before) scottish lass! Missgiraffe i know what you mean about eating, someone asked the other day if i had had any cravings and before i could answer my husband said ' she doesn't have time to she eats everything!' I have also continued to indulge my irn bru craving as long as your not drinking bucketloads its fine!

MeRightYouWrongMeBigYouSmall · 13/04/2011 10:07

I'm Scottish, not pregnant, lived in England for 3 years and not had a piece on square sausage for months!!!!

Plain bread & square sausage....Oh...it's worth the trip just for that!

OP - Congrats on your pregnancy :)
