She is C.F.W though ds still thinks she is C F - Edie - W, because that's what he wanted to call her. I wanted to make it one of her middle names, but dh said no, he'd forget about it instantly, but he hasn't.

MissChief · 28/10/2005 13:57

I like the idea of having a brace of sons named Magnum, Methuselah, Jeroboam, Balthazar, Nebuchadnezzar etc. after bottle sizes
oooh, actually, quite like Balthazar, although maybe better for a horse
Don't expect this is helping you much Munz!

I like william but would absolutly hate my son to be called bill - only cos my aunty went out with a bill and DH called him bill the dill - he was a knob head

so williams good for me as long as he's william/will - actually that's not v common either any more is it?

oooh JanH yes PLEASE!! Wow. thanks. That would be absolutely wonderful. Shall I cat you? Ds would be so pleased.

georginars · 28/10/2005 14:00

not offended homemama! it's just I always had Jack earmarked for my (non-existent) son, then every Tom, Dick and Harry (ha ha) started being called Jack.
I love traditional boys names. DD would have been William if she was a boy, but as she wasn't she got landed with a totally outlandish name, poor thing

GoN I was really keen on Isambard as a middle name whilst pregnant but DH vetoed it, then I let him have a totally vile middle name choice for a boy, mainly because I was so sure I was having a girl. Inigo also cool. although, a friend of mine told me her friend called her baby daughter Indigo, which I though was a bit odd, but each to their own and all that
