Hi
Worried sick re scan. 1st time pregnant only felt nauseous, severe tiredness and did have sore boobs but all worn off- now 11+4. no sign of swelling/bloating/bump. Basically back to normal now.
Is this normal? I'm terrified it's mmc.
Anyone had same thing and there was actually a baby at scan?

Sorry about posting this on few threads but can't get it out of my head:(

Xxxx

Just found this thread, was looking for something exactly like this for reassurance. I am 10+3 and do not feel pregnant in the slightest! Have not put on so much as an ounce, not had any sickness, so like you CrazyAlien, have been panicking that this is all just a figment of my imagination. Had my booking in appt with midwife last week and explained my paranoia to her. She said she could have a go at listening for the heartbeat, but this early on it might not be detected. I decided it was best not to try listening for it, as if she didn't manage to pick it up I would panic myself even further. Another week and a half to my scan, in other words another week and a half of worrying! I always thought it was the 2ww that was the worst, but as another poster said, in fact it's the 12ww! So glad everything was ok for you Crazy Alien, here's hoping everything is ok with me too and that this isn't a phantom pregnancy!

fallingandlaughing · 20/03/2011 16:45

Hi pjd,

I am 22+4 and never really had any sickness, breast changes etc. However there is a baby in there, and there is now a bump. Seems pretty common. I know lots of people who have worried that they are having a phantom pregnancy or something. Even if you were throwing up you'd probably still feel worried, so just be glad you're not unwell and try to enjoy. remember no period is a symptom!

laceymay · 11/09/2016 21:24

I'm 10 weeks and 5 days and I'm so paranoid that something will go wrong.
I've had 2 private scans already waiting for my 12 week scan which is this Friday (I'll only be 11 weeks and 4 days though)
I was wondering how common is it for baby to stop growing or lose a heart beat at this stage? I have seen movement and heart beat on both scans but I am so worried this 3rd scan will show something wrong was wondering how common that is.
Feeling a little quesy boobs a tiny bit sore and very mild period cramps which I believe are said to be due to uterus stretching? This is my first ever pregnancy
Xxx

becciandbump · 11/09/2016 21:53

My symptoms disappeared at 10 weeks it's happens as you approach 2 nd trimester. Im now 26 weeks. Good luck and try not to worry x

becciandbump · 11/09/2016 21:55

laceymay ive read that if there is a hb on a scan at 8 weeks there's 95 percent chance of a successful pregnancy if that helps at all

laceymay · 11/09/2016 22:44

I had read if there was a heart beat seen all should be okay i just feel weirdly anxious about it all x

ConvincingLiar · 12/09/2016 07:49

LaceyMay it's annoying to have to read through an ancient thread. It's better to just start your own than to revive one from 5 years ago.

Pregnancy is an anxious time but if you've already had two scans and the professionals have been happy then you should try not to worry.

NinaMichals5601 · 26/05/2020 11:08

And??? What was the outcome?? I have my 12 week scan next week and feeling exactly the same...blind panic that nothing is there bc I have no symptoms..

NinaMichals5601 · 26/05/2020 11:12

O scuze me, I didn't see these extra posts...all was fine...thank goodness :D
