Am I the only mum (of a boy obviously!) who finds this mind-boggling..?

I was more freaked out that there was an entire person inside me. And it had to get out...

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 25/02/2011 21:55

Um yes, I have a willy inside my tummy as I type. As much as I'm aware the embryo is male, the thought had not previously occured to me...

dinkystinky · 25/02/2011 21:56

Well yes (have had 2 boys) but I do produce lovely willies if I do say so myself...

I'm on pelvic rest since conception, but I've had a willy in me regardless much to my husband's annoyance. The baby even has erections apparently, which does do my head in a bit and seems wildly inappropriate!

nicolamumof3 · 25/02/2011 21:58

not something i've ever dwelled on! have three boys btw and expecting dc4 prob another boy!!

FirmBottom · 25/02/2011 22:02

unfortunately, its the only willy i have had in me since conception!

MumInBeds · 25/02/2011 22:06

I found it more fascinating that my daughter (and surrogate daughters) formed their eggs while inside me, the female contribution to my potential grandchildren (and of my friends grandchildren) came into existence in my uterus.

Are you 8?

I just can't believe a grown woman and mother would say "oooh, a WILLY, imagine!"

Crikey

mamaGool · 25/02/2011 22:30

Oooh MumInBeds, that really does make my head hurt, along with realising that the egg that went on to make your DD had been in you since you were in your mum's tum!

FirmBottom Shock Blush Sad

Sparklies baby erections?! Confused

TheSecondComing at least I'm not the only one - thank you! :)

Mmmhmmm:

From here: www.birthpsychology.com/lifebefore/fetalsense.html

Ultrasonographers have recorded fetal erections as early as 16 weeks g.a., often in conjunction with finger sucking, suggesting that pleasurable self-stimulation is already possible

So now you know! Wink

Wow. Every day's a school day!

I have 2 willies inside my bump! I'm having twin boys! It has made me chorcle a number of times. I guess we just have a sense of humour unlike some on here Wink.

frida75 · 26/02/2011 15:45

Hehe! I've often had this thought, glad I'm not the only one! I'm currently cultivating my third willy as I type and I think I'm pretty good at it Grin

catinboots · 26/02/2011 15:55

Yep - it amazed me both times too.

Freshmint you are sneery and horrible.

Now I'm slightly envious that you have all grown willies Envy

Ilovekittyelise · 26/02/2011 18:21

I'm just amazed generally that theres a little person in there. i can't believe all these little bones and muscles (and boners perhaps - too early to tell!) are growing. im in awe of whats going on in my body....oh please don't start bawling again, ANYTHING can set me off...

SoupDragon · 26/02/2011 18:29

I used to sit feeding DS1 and looking at his little hands thinking about all the bones, nerves veins etc and being amazed I'd grown it all myself and (hopefully) got it all in the right place.
