Me and DH haven't since I found out, he doesn't feel comfortable with it and to be honest nor do I, is this unusual?

in my first pregnancy i didn't much
2nd and 3rd, couldn't get enough! Blush

Panzee · 01/11/2010 20:24

I didn't. I couldn't get comfy, and as it turned out it was a good thing as I had placenta previa.

Eglu · 01/11/2010 20:28

First pg didn't want to, was too exhausted.

Second lots and lots. Third only just starting, I'll let you know Wink

SauvignonBlanche · 01/11/2010 20:28

Yes, I did, lots.

sam26oscar · 01/11/2010 20:31

no no and no thank you!!!!! First time round was scared to after previous m/c and this time just too sick and tired in first trimester and tbh, just don't miss it enough to try!!

mumbybumby · 01/11/2010 20:31

Lots first pregnancy, this one not much at all! Too knackered, sore and immobile! (not to mention the teething 19 month old!) :)

Mumcentreplus · 01/11/2010 20:34

Yep loads...Wink

MrsShriekTheScared · 01/11/2010 20:36

first three or four months, not much, huge miscarriage risks so just didn't want to. After that, bring it on, absolutely loads of it, DH thought he was irresistable Grin

DurhamDurham · 01/11/2010 20:37

None in first few months as felt v sick and tired but from about 16 weeks onwards we were quite regular. Became a bit of an effort in last few weeks but pleased we did as once I'd given birth we were both too scared to try for about 6 months!!

RoxieP · 01/11/2010 20:37

We did lots in the beginning because it was a novelty to not have to worry about contraception, but then I had a couple of UTIs and then thrush from the antibiotics (sorry TMI) which obviously put me right off so we rarely have since! I'm 30 weeks. Glad I'm not the only one who is happier giving it a miss for the time-being!

bettywobble · 01/11/2010 20:40

With my first I couldnt get enough lol.
This time I have barely let hubby near me, although I have relented and done "other stuff", although with having a few mc I am too scared to even let his thing near me LOL!!! Grin

FourEyesGood · 01/11/2010 20:40

Lots in my first pregnancy, but hardly at all this time (although managed it this week, for the first time in months Grin). Just don't feel like it very much, especially after spending all day with a stroppy toddler!

sarahscot · 01/11/2010 20:41

Felt sick and first so didn;t, now 21 weeks and just can't be arsed!! Poor DH, I really must make an effort.

mamalovesmojitos · 01/11/2010 20:45

yes, extra-lots!

SummerHeightsHigh · 01/11/2010 20:46

No, DH didn't want to, he felt uncomfortable about it so we didn't.

KristinaM · 01/11/2010 20:47

yes we did

but if you and your Dh are both happy not to have sex, then what the problem? Smile

geordieminx · 01/11/2010 20:49

Not really, had a m/c, which started with bleedy after sex sp was uber paranoid. Sad

abr1de · 01/11/2010 20:51

Yes. Had lots.

JeelyPiece · 01/11/2010 20:51

I want to but am too scared, even at 20 weeks. Tried it once but it just felt wrong, too invasive, I had to call a halt to proceedings, poor DH Blush

He is so understanding and has not put any pressure on me at all but I have been fairly generous with, ahem, other services that I can provide!

JeelyPiece · 01/11/2010 20:52

Not that having sex with your husband is a service, you know what I mean Smile

chandellina · 01/11/2010 21:15

we waited until around 13 weeks, after having had bleeding and later a miscarriage after sex in an earlier pregnancy. then plenty.
i think it's a bad idea not to, for intimacy and all, but everyone makes their decisions.

RoxieP · 01/11/2010 21:24

You lot are good, if I don't feel like sex then I really don't feel like "other stuff" either! My poor blokey, he is very patient though! No chance that he feels uncomfortable with the concept of sex during prenancy - if I ever suggested it he'd grab his chance no matter what time day or night!

senorita1 · 01/11/2010 21:26

We have! It's getting a bit uncomfortable now, at 30 weeks, and was weird around 20 weeks when I could see my bump going in and out (sorry Blush )but I think OH would have found it hard to understand/deal with if we'd stopped. I didn't know it increased the risk of mc though - might think twice in the early stages next time.

cowboylover · 01/11/2010 21:29

For me I really cant be bothered and only 11 weeks at the moment. Sorry if TMI but not sure if its the extreme constipation making me feel full and uncomfortable or the sore boobs which are making me dodge my DH

Hope I get into it soon as missing it Sad

cupcakebakerer · 01/11/2010 21:49

Not at all and 15 weeks now. Feel very bad on hubby. He hasn't complained once bless him. I just can't see it happening either as it just feels so wrong. I have to say I do feel very bad about it!
