I had a upset tummy just before labour kicked in, although it didn't get watery IIRC.

Maybe call the maternity unit / midwife and run it past them.

mollycuddles · 25/09/2010 20:34

I had 24 hours of dreadful diarrhoea just before labour. Fingers crossed that's all it is but worth getting checked. Stay hydrated too.

Mummyofmax · 25/09/2010 20:36

i feel fine apart from the diarreah and aches so wondering if its labour x

Ooooooooohhhhhhh you might be going into labour! How exciting! I had diarrhea all the way through and AFAIK it meant no pooing in the pushing stage so I was quite glad of it in the end!!! And 38 weeks too - brilliant, perfectly good time to have a baby!

See if you can pinpoint any coming and going of pain, and time it.

Are you planning home or hosp birth?

Keep us posted, I love a good birth thread! Grin

Mummyofmax · 25/09/2010 20:48

im not getting my hopes up as my first son was 5 days late! i do have pains but nothing major, mild period pains...x

Ah yes but second babies more likely to be earlier :) Any progress or are you asleep like sensible people?

hairymelons · 25/09/2010 23:58

My first thought was labour too!

Hope it is that and not a bug.

Keep us posted :)

MrToad · 26/09/2010 00:17

OOh I also had the runs for a day before my labour started... I think baby might be on the way!!

Good luck whenever it does actually happen :)

I keep dreaming I'm in labour, must be night time BH. It's really annoying, I can't take another 4 weeks of this!

gingerkirsty · 29/09/2010 14:24

How nice is that?! I am always Envy of people who have short labours, DD was in a ridiculous position and I laboured for about 50 hours, pushing for 4 IIRC before we were wheeled into theatre and she was helped out!

Mummyofmax · 29/09/2010 20:24

we have a lot in common my last labout was 21 hours!
Think after my bout of the runs i have now developed piles. have had a bleed tonight (sorry tmi)definitely came from my bottom and not my fanjo and midwife said get it double checked at doc and midwife tomorrow.
