Louise I've only seen the thread now and words fail me sweetheart. The injustice of it all is beyond description but I'm so struck by your bravery and love for your little girl..

If it is not too painful for you I hope you'll stay here with us and let us help in any small way we can .. I'd be honoured to donate to her fund I'll do it tomorrow.

Love and best wishes

lee xxx

boodleboot · 15/10/2010 07:47

AlbaDeTamble · 15/10/2010 08:23

Louise, echoing what others have said, please do stick around here with us and don't feel you need to hold back. I'm sure we all want to hear how you're doing and read as much as you can tell us about your gorgeous little girl. Please post away. Can't begin to imagine how you're feeling just now, but do tell us if you want to (just remembering how writing it all down helped after miscarriage, so thinking it may in some small way be helpful for you now).
Big hugs.

batteryhen · 15/10/2010 08:55

Louise I hope that you are feeling ok today. I'm sure I speak for everyone in saying that you are very welcome here for as long as it brings you comfort and support. What has happened to you has touched all of us as well and we are very happy to help in any small ways that we can.

Viv I was really pleased to hear your news yesterday. This thread is so unique I think because we are all at different stages of pregnancy but with the broadly the same worries. I hope that you will be able to relax into your pregnancy now and enjoy it a bit.

Over here there is not really anything to report at all. Since the non-sweep I have had some brownish discharge, but almost certainly not enough to be a show. Fiddling about in my cervical area must have caused it. Lovely. I had some contractions yesterday evening that were quite uncomfortable and fairly close together but knowing my cervix was shut I didn't believe anything would happen. I am a bit more optimistic today, not least because I slept all night. It's amazing waht a good night's sleep can do.

Hope everyone is well and having a good day. Any news Effilump?

Gi1da · 15/10/2010 13:43

Adding to continued welcomes for Louise and sister Kate too! We are all thinking of you and here to hand hold on the rollercoaster of life.

Glad to hear you got a bit of decent shut-eye SamB. I wish I wouldn?t keep thinking of Dick van Dyke when anyone mentions sweeps. It?s quite off-putting. Although perhaps a cheeky cockney chappy singing chirpy little ditties while they?re fiddling with your cervicular nethers might lift the atmosphere!

Viv really good news for you, really glad. Big Grin.

I am feeling a bit naughty as I have finally caved in and booked a hair cut and colour for this afternoon. Controversial possibly, but am well aware of doom-sayers vs the let?s-be-realistic-about risk debate. Mind you, the hairdresser may decide not to highlight if she thinks the colour may be affected by dufferism. Will see what she says. Its been a while, I last saw her just after my mc so I feel like a troll by now! Wink

Wishing everyone well xx

clareanna · 15/10/2010 15:34

gi1da lts less chimney sweep and more being turned into a human glove puppet!!! Grin

toomuchteaching · 15/10/2010 15:45

Oh louise I am so very very sorry. Words totally fail me. Do stay and talk to us about Georgie whenever you want to.

Hope others are doing ok. Take care all.

stuffedmk · 15/10/2010 16:12

louise I'm so sorry, I can't imagine how you must be feeling. You obviously have a very supportive family to help you through. And of course we are all here for you.

dorcas111 · 15/10/2010 18:44

I've just checked in on this thread and seen the news- I am so sorry Louise, words just aren't enough but you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Life is so unfair and cruel at times, it just seems incomprehensible that this can happen. I'm glad you are being well looked after in RL and obviously you have all the support here that we can give. Talk about Georgie as much as you want to whenever you want to. Take care x x x x

louisesh · 15/10/2010 19:22

Thanks again. Thanks GOODLUCKBEAR for your donation X

thefatladyscreams · 15/10/2010 21:32

Oh Louisesh my dear, I'm so so sorry. There are no words to express what you must be feeling. Please do stay with us. Your little Georgie sounds so beautiful xxx

My mum lost her first child at birth and we all still think of him today and know there is a big brother we didn't get to meet.

You are all in our thoughts.

louisesh · 16/10/2010 00:15

Thanks very much TFLS for your lovely donation.Hope alls going well with you X.Good to hear your story about your mum [not for her loss] but that she went on to have you post a stillbirth. Seen my MW today and she knows of 2 ladies who have experienced still birth and gone on to have healthy children....So she said to crack on straight , virtually, away!!!!!!

banana87 · 16/10/2010 01:28

Sadly I come adding more bad news. I miscarried today and had an ERPC tonight. In a cushy private room being taken care of. The only disappointing thing is my feeling that I can't have more children. 2 miscarriages in a row is not just bad luck, it's me.

SamanthaB123 · 16/10/2010 03:53

I'm really sorry to hear your news banana, I hope that you are ok tonight. At this stage I don't think that it necessarily means you can't have children - someone will be along soon enough to confirm this us the case I'm sure. Have you thought about having tests to see what is going on?

Awake here obviously but only insomnia, nothing impending yet. Posting on phone in bed with some degree of difficulty...

So sorry banana especially after the ups and downs you've had. Hope you are being well looked after and please fight to get the answers you need x

Gi1da · 16/10/2010 07:46

I'm so very sorry Banana. Huge [hug] to you.

banana87 · 16/10/2010 08:55

Thank you. Feeling suprisingly ok today. To me, things just were not right with bleeding from day 1 so all my efforts are now geared towards getting answers and not being fobbed off.

Hope things get moving for you soon Samantha!

Muser · 16/10/2010 10:04

I'm so sorry banana. Definitely push for answers if you can get any. But please don't give up hope, I know after my second loss I thought there had to be something wrong with me, but it was just awful luck.

You will get your baby.

randomimposter · 16/10/2010 10:11

banana was about to post pretty much what Muse wrote. It's TOTALLY normal to be feeling how you are feeling right now, particularly after an ERPC which sends you doo-lally IMO. But you don't need to go far on here to read of successful pregnancies after 2/3/4/5 and so on MC. I wish you a speedy recovery and all the best for the future.

Thinking of louise and family.

Hi to all.

SamanthaB123 · 16/10/2010 12:09

Banana I hope you are bearing up ok this morning. I'm glad that some people have been along to reassure you.

No news, didn't sleep well, feel tired. Hmmph.
