Hi,

I have been searching this topic for sometime now and just wondered in reality what peoples experiences are. During pregnancy gaining weight and after loosing weight.

I am 13weeks and have gained 3lbs which i believe is relatively normal.

Hi, I had 57kgs before pregnancy and now at 16 weeks I weigh 61 kgs. I have put on that weight pretty quickly in the beginning as I felt extremly nauseaus until today and to ease it I was eating non-stop and not the healthy kind which unfortunately wouldn't do the job :(. I still don't have any cravings or am more hungry than usual (thank God!) so I try not to eat much more than before. I still can't eat my normal protein/salad diet which I sticked to through years as I still need quite a lot of bread to ease my funny stomach feelings.

well im 13 an half weeks, i have lost 1 stone and 4 pounds in that time going from 8 stone 12 which for 5'6 is healthy but now weigh 7 stone 8 and look horrid.
with my 1st i gained over 3 stone and lost it all within 5 days.
just want to be healthy and put on a little bit of weight

My BMI was 18 and I gained about 2.5 stone.

Am happy to say I have lost almost all of it again now totally naturally (did not diet at all as breastfeeding), DD is 8months.

Hmm...I am 12 weeks and have put on about 7lbs already Shock

Started of at 65.6kgs and am 5"4, now weigh 68.2kgs.

Me thinks that a diet of supernoodles and white bread when feeling ropey at weeks 5-8 didn't help much!! Now expecting to gain roughly a pound a week for the next 13ish weeks so could be a hefty 11st10lbs by 25 weeks Shock Shock

I'm 18 weeks and have put on 1 stone. I don't mind though- my midwifes seem happy. I was healthy bmi to start. It's mainly bump, boobs & I guess water and blood. My thighs and face are a little more filled out but I think my face looks a bit better for it!

I'm sure whatever I put on will come off- I eat healthily and like walking and intend to breastfeed.

Like other people- I was so sick in the first trimester and eating was the only thing that made me feel better. Maybe that's our bodies telling us we need more?

I am eating generally healthy at the moment- but if my body want more food I'm giving it more.
