I was in hospital for 4 days with contractions but wasn't dilating. The day after I come home I have diaheorra and lose my mucus plug which is tinged with blood. I show my midwife and she says it is my plug. I had really bad period pains and on off tightenings yesterday. When I went bed my liner was pink tinged. I had a rubbish nights sleep and am exhausted. This morning didn't feel too bad. Have just been toilet and my liner is full of watery stuff. Am getting pains and tightenings again. Not sure if this a very watery discharge. I have read this gets more towards labour. I am hoping what with the plug, show and pink discharge things are on the move.

Any advice or has anybody else experienced this.

May be a slow start though so take it easy, eat drink sleep if you can.

Don't worry about keeping upright and active yet, you will just wear yourself out.

You will soon know if it is turning into proper labour

Could the watery discharge be your waters leaking? They don't always go in a rush. Did you feel a "plop" at any time?

I have got a pain between my legs and alot of pressure. Sometimes I feel like something is leaking out.

I would contact the midwife or labour ward then, as it may be that your waters have broken, they usually want you to let them know.

No 4th but this pregnancy has been totally different to the other 3. My other 3 were boys this one is a girl. Have just started having pains.

Having period pains every 5-6 mins. Had spotting in my liner. Not sure if it was part of show or not. Have been very stressed today so prob hasn't helped.

you are 35 weeks, yes? so you should really be presenting at labour ward as you have had a show and leaking and regular pains.

35 weeks is early and you could go quick as this is your 4th baby, and as you are a little early, baby oculd need some help , might be fine, but might need some help, so i would call the labour ward and get checked out ASAP

I am in hospital. I am bleeding. Waiting on a scan. Contractions r 3-4 mins apart. Not dilating though. Can't take much more.

1 doc tried to tell me I wasn't bleeding till I showed him my pad. It is like a medium period. I haven't slept in 29 hrs. Still not dilating. I'm hoping they will do something 2 help me. As I physically can't take much more what with this and the MS. X

Well have got 2 grin and bare it. So even with bleeding they aren't bothered. My hospital is rubbish.

have you been discharged?

when you say bleeding, do you mean gushing or like a period or spotting?

i would be v v surprised that at 35 weeks,with possible leaking waters, loss of show, regular pains and bleeding you'd be sent home.

if you are not satisfied with your care, then you can raise it with your care givers. go to PALS if necessary.

Bleeding like medium period. Scan said all with baby is fine. He said prob my MS causing probs. So ok 4 me to suffer. Keeping me in tonight 2 see if anything happens. X
