Don't think mine count as cravings, they are more just things I feel I can stomach through the nausea at the moment.

My current can't-get-enough foods are tinned mandarins, peaches and pears, and toffee muller lites.

Far better than my last pregnancy though where I craved full fat babybels and orange lucozade. I got VERY fat!

I'm jealous of my friend who always craves ice cubes when she's pregnant - fat free, calorie free, brilliant!

champagnesupernova · 02/08/2010 19:02

I craved calorie/fat-free fizzy water both times (am 25 weeks with no 2) but this time round I have also had a penchant for Full Fat Coke and Mars bars

thisisyesterday · 02/08/2010 19:06

i craved mcdonalds strawberry milkshakes in my first pregnancy. and curry

crisps and carrots in the second

carrots again in the third...

i think there were other htings too tho

TheArmadillo · 02/08/2010 19:09

I have been craving dairy through this pregnancy. Cheese, milk, yoghurt mostly.

Also a lot of meat.

Last time it was tinned tomatoes, orange juice and celery. Still managed to put on weight though.

thisisyesterday · 02/08/2010 19:09

oh peanuts! that was it., crunchy nut cornflakes, and salted peanuts with all 3

deemented · 02/08/2010 19:16

With DT's it was the smell of muddy spuds. I used to walk round our local market with my face stuck in a bag - the smell was heavenly.

With DD it was tinned tomatoes dipped in proper chip shop gravy.

With DS3 i had an overwhelming desire to lick metallic lime green cars. My mouth used to water something chronic every time i saw one, and i still salavate now...

sarahscot · 02/08/2010 19:17

Apples and other small fruits (plums, nectarines), cool Doritos and white bread rolls are the current favourites. Tuna mayo is the overwhelming fave sandwich filling, although trying not to have to many cans a week (something to do with the mercury in fish or some such bollocks).

Earlier on (I am 14 weeks now) I was craving LOADS of fizzy drinks, couldn't bear to be without and they couldn't be diet. And those Kellogs Rice Krispie bars, had to be the caramel flavour though. At least I can stomach fruit now, so my body is getting some goodness.

deemented · 02/08/2010 19:22

Oh yeah. They looked so juicy and i so wanted to go up to one and give it a big slurpy lick.

But i was worried people would think i was a wee bit weird...

thisisyesterday · 02/08/2010 19:25

did you see a lot of lime green metallic cars???

i don't thjink i've ever seen one lol

i had a thing about the smell of petrol

also, coke. and i hate it normally

Porcelain · 02/08/2010 19:27

Pineapples and milk mostly. The least healthy was not so much of a craving, but when I was sick (that will be the first 18 weeks) I just wasn't hungry, so could only bring myself to eat really tasty things, pizza with loads of toppings (especially lots of juicy veg) happened quite a lot.

PDR · 02/08/2010 19:30

Pickled onion Monster Munch

bulby · 02/08/2010 19:32

oranges, I lived off them and don't touch them normally. Could not bear the thought of milk, had yoghurt on cereal and drink green or peppermint tea............which i always thought was a bir odd really

deemented · 02/08/2010 19:35

I saw LOADS

I actually nearly crashed my car as i drove past one as i was imagining giving it a good lick...

Iklboo · 02/08/2010 19:36

A pint of orange juice before breakfast
Walkers salt & vinegar crisps and a twix after lunch
Mini kievs & chicken griddlers for tea

Luckily I didn't put on a massive amount of weight!

firsttimer78 · 02/08/2010 19:41

Anything sweet in general...blackcurrant fruit pastilles specifically in the first 15 weeks. Had a few weeks of needing to suck the juice out of quartered oranges, which wasn't great as OJ gives me a migraine but I couldn't stop! Thankfully I've started needing fruit in the last few days so am hoping bub doesn't pop out with Tate & Lyle stamped on it...Oh, and randomly, homemade minestrone soup one night!

plantsitter · 02/08/2010 19:42

Pear dipped in houmous during my last pregnancy. This one is less healthy as I just want chips, mash and baked potatoes all the time.

MarkStretch · 02/08/2010 19:43

Oranges, smoked makerel straight out of the packet.

MissCKitty · 02/08/2010 19:58

Ooooooh McDonalds chicken nuggets - 20 at a time mmmmmmmmmmmmm

babychickens · 02/08/2010 20:01

Pot noodles - any flavour. Feel like a teenager again

PavlovtheCat · 02/08/2010 20:04

First pg - healthiest - yoghurt and mixed fresh fruit which HAD to contain grapefruit and banana, and then whatever else I had around. It was pretty much all i could eat for a good while. I would have to take a huge tub in to work and just sit there, with it all mixed up, eating, eating, eating. It was the only thing for a lot of my pg that stopped the sickness/stayed down and I could not get enough.

Unhealthiest, I HAD, at times, to have praline flakes. I had to eat 2 at a time, and I would throw it back up. It was horrendous. I would just have these urges and I would get very upset, very tearful if I could not get hold of it, even though it made me feel so unwell. I can't eat them now.

pg 2 - about the only thing i could eat that I liked was crumpets, butter and peanut butter. Had to be dripping, had to have it at 2am, and was the only thing I could hold down throughout the whole pg apart from plain salmon which was vile.

Naetha · 02/08/2010 20:07

Peanut butter out of the jar. After a couple of days I remembered that it contained nuts (duh!) and I probably shouldn't eat it. But I figured by that point any damage had been done and got through another 5 jars for the rest of my pregnancy.

KnitterInTheNW · 02/08/2010 20:25

Walkers smokey bacon crisps, then 100% orange juice ice lollies, then bowl after bowl of rice krispies. Had to be Kelloggs though.

zippy539 · 02/08/2010 20:29

DC 1 - tomatoes and cornflakes
DC2 - lager!!!!!

fairybubbles · 02/08/2010 20:49

DS- Oranges, orange fanta, 100% orange ice lollies...

Currenty 7.5 weeks preg, and so far this time it's bran flakes with hot milk, walkers ready salted crips, bolied new potatoes, jacket potatos (no toppings) and plain boiled rice. I've no appetite at the moment at all and really have to push myself to eat I'm hoping this changes once the nausea + vomitting improves as I normally have a healthy appetite and enjoy my food.
