Tell me about your breasts after breastfeeding...

EBF dd1 for 10 months and we recently have transitioned onto formula while weaning solids.

So my question is - will my boobs go back to how they were before?! I expect some sagging, but how about the size?

And talk to me about your nipples when you finished BF. Did they change back?

My nipples became enormous during BF and I think my bra size went up 4-5 times throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding. My huge nipples are giving me low self esteem, They honestly seem to be taking up my entire boob!

Did anyone experience this during their breastfeeding journey and how was it after you stopped?

Have to say I have always felt lucky. Boobs still nice and full, and not much sign of sag, at age 45, and having breastfed my daughter for 18 months, I'm pretty proud of them. Wish I could say the same for my stomach - that's what really suffered from childbirth for me...... (oh, and from eating thousands of chocolate bars over decades, I guess!)

No one can tell you how things will be for you, and soliciting the experience of others will not help you in the least.

You just have to wait and see what happens for you.

Never went back the same. (stopped breastfeeding about three years agao - breastfed till toddler age).

Smaller, but more than that, they just feel different. No weight to them, no substance. They look fine, pert, shapely, but feel like nothing, sort of floppy feeling. I really don't like it. I loved my breasts before.

I'm 16 years out from my last breastfeeding experience, I fed dd1 for 1 year, ds for 15 months and dd2 for 2 years.

Boobs were big before and even now (I'm 51 so also menopausal) I'm a G cup. But they only look good in a parachute harness bra as they are so droopy.

But like a pp said, worth it. I did read somewhere that the damage is done in pregnancy, it's just you notice it more when you stop breastfeeding.

I BF my DS for 7 months but he would only feed from my right side - just wouldn’t take from my left side. When I had finished, my right side was noticeably much bigger than my left side (an A cup before pregnancy) my left side was completely flat whereas my right side had a bit of roundness to it. 4 months after BF DS I fell pregnant with DD and during pregnancy my boobs grew to be the exact same size again (thank goodness!) I BF her for 9 months and then my boobs went pretty much back to pre-pregnancy size but much softer, nipples a little larger and slightly wonky! I absolutely loved breast feeding and it was totally worth the changes in my boobs but then I have never had beautiful boobs!

Was a D before pregnancy, went up to an H whilst feeding, now an F. They’re slightly deflated but to be honest everything between neck and minge is 😂

I know this is an old thread but was researching the topic and this really made me laugh so thank you 😂
