aq - we're back at orthoptist every 6 weeks at the moment and what feels like every week at the opticians for the glasses to be fixed Hmm

tooth fairy coming to our house tonight...

EustaciaVye · 17/05/2011 18:02

indith - have you got a date for school appeal yet? also check waiting list as i know someone who has goine from 12th to 2nd in a week.

Indith · 18/05/2011 08:09

No date yet. Not checked the waiting list but little point I think, you just don't get movement like that around here! I'd be willing to bet a kidney on everyone who was allocated a place taking it up.

Indith · 21/05/2011 13:19

I am late. I am rarely late and whn I am it is a couple of days of horrible period pains before it finally appears. At teh moment, nothing, absolutely nothing, no pains, I feel perfectly chipper. I have weed on several a stick and the sticks says "no" Hmm. We were a teeny tiny bit careless so possible though unlikely.

Wait a bit longer I suppose.

Good job my last blood results were good!

Dh is not paying my am I /aren't I thoughts nearly enough attention Grin

EustaciaVye · 21/05/2011 18:35

Are you wanting another Indith?

accessorizequeen · 21/05/2011 19:36

Ooh, indith Shock

jabberwocky · 22/05/2011 02:45

oh, my!

EustaciaVye · 22/05/2011 08:29

have you POAS this morning?

Indith · 22/05/2011 19:17

Bang goes that theory. Making up for the delay by having absolutely hideous period pains and generally dying while surgically attached to a microwavable heat pad. Knew as soon as I put voice to the possibility it would arrive.

Dh is quite pleased. He was, and I quote "looking forward to a bit more fun putting a baby in there" Hmm. Think the poor man was remembering that my sex drive left the building for a good couple of years the instant I got pg with dd so he wants to get it while he can Hmm Grin.

Humph. Oh well.

Indith · 22/05/2011 19:18

On the plus side, we now know how to get you all out of hiding Wink.

EustaciaVye · 23/05/2011 08:02

Grin at coming out of hiding.

Sorry it's not the news you wanted.

accessorizequeen · 23/05/2011 11:33

Sorry indith, more luck next month :(

accessorizequeen · 23/05/2011 19:21

Erm, apparently moving house on Friday. Eeek!

jabberwocky · 23/05/2011 19:37

Good luck!

Indith · 24/05/2011 09:12

Good luck AQ! Just think of all that fab space you'll have!

How are your new drugs going? Have they helped with the anxiety?

jabberwocky · 26/05/2011 14:29

I have to find a new dr. Mine is not in private practice anymore :(

am a little worred that the new one will want to change my meds and they are working pretty well - better than anything else anyway.

Hope yours are working too AQ.

Indith · 28/05/2011 21:14

I'd go with the "this is what I take, it works, end of story" by way of an introduction Jabber.

I think I've just sold my soul to Tesco, done order to arrive at the holiday let for all of us followed by our usual monthly order for the day we get home. Credit card says ouch.

accessorizequeen · 28/05/2011 22:11

Agree with indith there jabber , why change what works? I was super anxious this week and shaking with panic yesterday but now we are in I've calmed down. It is huge, the dc are happy as larry so perhaps it will all work out.

Indith · 29/05/2011 09:17

Glad to hear you are all in now AQ, hopefully now you can relax and enjoy the space. Bet the dcs can have a few good games of hide and seek before all the cupboards get filled!

jabberwocky · 29/05/2011 18:46

Glad you are in AQ!

Yes, I think I am going to do the little old lady routine and show up with all of my pill bottles :)

jabberwocky · 01/06/2011 13:59

Where is everyone???

Saw the nurse practitioner yesterday. She refilled everything for a month and will extend to 3 months once they get my records from the other office. Yea!

Indith · 01/06/2011 16:15

:) that is good Jabber.

I have been sort of enjoying the quiet of only having one dc. Dd plays so well by herself when she isn't being bossed around by ds! Today we went swimming which I can't do with both of them due to pool regulations about adult:child ratios followed by a little MN meet up to meet a very squishy and beautiful new baby and we've just been out gathering a few heads of elderflower which are now steeping to make cordial. Bliss. I am slightly annoyed though because as usual our valley is a week or so behind the rest of the area so our elderflower is just about to be in full flower and we are going away next week so I am probbaly going to miss most of it Angry. More annoying is that when I drive inot town I see it in full bloom everywhere but of course stopping off and finding other spots with the dcs just isn't practical. As soon as we get back I'm taking the step ladder and leaving the dcs with dh to gather as much as I can!

jabberwocky · 02/06/2011 02:31

It is pretty amazing how much easier it is with only one dc. When dh and ds1 were out of town for a week the house stayed clean, I got lots of rest and the quiet was bliss.

jabberwocky · 05/06/2011 21:08

All right, where has everyone gone???

Indith · 11/06/2011 13:56

Hellooooooooooooooooooo?

Honestly I go away for a week and you all bugger off.

We've been to Whitby for a week. lots of sunshine and a bit of swimming (the dcs are mental. Absolutely mental), plenty of ice creams and tea shops :)
