Evening all
the problem with lurking is i never remember exactly what i was going to post about once i do post so suffice to say
"HELLOOOOO TOOO ALLLLLLLL"

Flisspaps my DH has the dirtiest mind and he still didn't get it (still not sure if i'm proud because i got it earlydoors or worried)

PD i don't care but i'm SO glad you are at least about...completely get the sabbatical (have somewhat done that myself) but at least you Are There... Big sympathy that RL is being a pig (from a Letting You MN Regularly point of view) but so glad Joe is making you laugh regularly and is at least a cutie generally...
We had a night of Feeds Every One and A Half Hours last night (interspersed with ToddlyElk mutterings/bed wettings) but Gosh.....could I have told you any of that at 7 when Thea looked over at me and did her "Oh Mummy Aren't We Having SUCH a Ball" smile at me?!!!! seriously five minutes before that i could have told you to the minute how often i was up last night... it's like her smile wipes my hard disc or something...

RKD valium what wedding please?? how lovely....

how about we make a MN date?? So we all try to lurk/post at some point on an evening soon?? At the very least we could tell RKD that one cm scones are WRONG...
(i really am not a lesbian it's not a REAL date its just a realistic date for us to at least try and post)

Anyone else absolutely completely love their baby and all their little nuances/faces/conversations/folds of fat...(you should see the MiniElk FatThighs....i'm sure smac could beat me here but there's an element of michelin man there somewhere) (and that's before you take my tummy into account...)

Pingpong · 30/06/2010 21:50

what are you trying to say about my thighs mummyelk have you been stalking my FB photos and looking at hideous ones my friends have tagged me in I haven't censored yet ????
or are you talking about my well endowed daughter?

sunshinesarahandco · 30/06/2010 21:51

Ooh, IWCAS, I likee. I likee a lot. Think I could do with something similar.

Smiles wiping hard drives, Melk. Yep, I think there's definitely something in that.

Nice to "see" you PD. I do hope today's napping is the start of something good for you and for Joe.

Hope you feel better soon Smac.

And now to bed.

Date I'm around after 8ish tomorrow. See you then?

ValiumtheConqueror · 01/07/2010 08:14

8:12 am. Still in my pjs (not the ones that got caught in last night's vom-alanche though) and need a shower so have skanky hair. But I'm on the MN sofa, the kids are in front of MN Beebies and I'm mainlining coffee. Bring on the virtual coffee morning

BusyMissIzzy · 01/07/2010 11:17

Aww bless Valium, she was trying so hard! I laughed out loud when your DD1 tried to feed her the boat! You had a vomalanche last night too? Same here

Pacific good to hear from you, I actually came on here last night to see if you'd been in, or give you a wave of you were lurking. Hope the successful sleeping continues.

MummyElk I know what you mean about the smiles, they make everything better, don't they?

Pixie I saw your other thread, hope you're feeling better about it. The other poster's comment was a bit and very cowardly to say something like that and then run off without even explaining it. I once inadvertently upset someone with a sarcastic (but supposed to be friendly/jokey) comment. And I got really upset that I'd offended her, I actually cried a bit because that was never my intention.

Smac I hope your boobs and DD2's snot are both better today.

Isobel is currently having her long morning nap. Since about a week ago, she has slept for about 90 mins every morning (apart from yesterday, the one morning I decide to do some aerobics, she wakes up after 40mins, when I'm all sweaty and need a shower. Typical.). She had her 3rd set of vaccinations yesterday; screamed as per usual but was back to her smiley self within about 5 minutes.

I really can't believe our babies are nearly four months old now! It goes so quickly

BusyMissIzzy · 01/07/2010 11:18

waveif* you were lurking, not 'of'.

BusyMissIzzy · 01/07/2010 11:20

Balls. if, not 'of', I meant.

Arcadie · 01/07/2010 11:26

ahhhh valium I meant 8pm.... sorry for imprecision

ValiumtheConqueror · 01/07/2010 14:46

Bugger. Does that mean I have to get dressed?

OP posts:
Pingpong · 01/07/2010 15:46

pacific is so wise boobs are feeling much better today (so 24 hours is good estimate) and we had a better night. Two feeds which is sort of 'normal' for us and proper feeds not sucky, sucky, scream and collapse.
Thanks for all the kind wishes.
pixie I'm so nosey I had to go and super sleuth to see what was upsetting you.
Scottish mummy is one of the few MNers who really riles me regularly. She makes me embarrassed to be Scottish TBH oh and expatinscotland or whatever her name is comes across as pretty harsh too #

evitas · 01/07/2010 15:46

Hi to everyone.

PD great to "see" you. Enjoy your holiday

Pixie great to "see" you too. Have you done something special so they can enjoy their tummy time. DS doesn't like it at all

Valium Thanks for the entertainment. They are both gorgeous! Congratulations

IWCAS I loved the sling! I think you will make spend 55£...

Smac Hope you are better

Anna LOL at the chip. I'm sure she loved it. Lovely picture.

sunshine very at your weight lost! But well done

rebeccacad good luck with your training.

Busy can you share your secret for 90 minutes naps? I'm very desperate... 40 minutes naps if we are lucky!

Over here everything is the same. DS is definitely teething. Today we are going to order some nice food to celebrate the fact that we found out a year ago that I was pregnant.

Waves to everyone

P.S. Date? where, when who?

siamesecatwoman · 01/07/2010 17:09

hi ladies

DD just rolled back to front twice while I was ignoring her Looks like this is the way forward for development - like Valium's dd2 she moves across the room when Im not looking too! I might leave heat near her and she if she picks it up (nothing too advanced..)

Evitas is also our anniversary of BFP today. Your DS was early wasnt he? What was his EDD? DD arrived on her EDD of 11.3.10

smac / pixie I agree. I rarely post on other boards but they get up my nose too!

BMI I have also notice an increase in nap time in the last few weeks. She will generally sleep for longer if she self settles rather than put down when asleep.

valium loved your video - took a look at some of your others too! How cute is DD1 with DD2!

Ill try and see you guys later x

evitas · 01/07/2010 18:35

siamese congratulations!Happy anniversary! DS' EDD was 6.03.2010 but he arrived on the 6.02.2010.

and well done to all the babies who are rolling already.

x

hecklephone · 01/07/2010 19:22

Hello folks, I'm still here but reduced to mere lurking as I'm utterly swamped with RL at the moment, including a snotty DD1, trying to introduce a bottle to DD2 and a DH with man flu Hope to post properly again soon.

Arcadie · 01/07/2010 20:01

ok. nearly 8pm . I'm finishing off washing up. Getting a chilled glass of white and settling down to do some chatting with whoever's here. Need some distraction tonight...
My brother's wife (DSIL from now on) is on day 2 of her induction with their first child. I'm the only one in our family to have produced grandchildren so far and I'm RIDICULOUSLY excited about getting a niece. (And living vicariously through it too) It's sounds like it's all going ok but she's about to have her 4th prostin gel after a whole day of cx leading to a mighty 2cm (which she was a week and a half ago). I can see it all going horribly wrong but am choosing to pray rather than fret. But having you guys to take my mind off would be great. DB is being a star and texting answers to my increasingly personal questions but I just wish i could BE THERE and BE OF SOME HELP.... nyyyarrrrgh.

Evitas Date is here 8pm with your fingers working like lightning on the keyboard to have a little bit of real time chat. Possibly. Or it could just be me venting all evening.

Anyone been to Tooting hospital BTW?

evitas · 01/07/2010 20:02

ok, RKD I'm here

Arcadie · 01/07/2010 20:04

Hello Evitas. What's bacalhau mean?

evitas · 01/07/2010 20:05

it means codfish
