Scout big hugs xx

Faith is 1 on Thursday, who would of thought a year on & I would still be pregnant!

Never ever felt this sick [sick] its like Faith & DS put together! And my tummy is huge! Diabetic clinic at the hospital phoned me today, I have appointment with them on Wednesday, need to see them before they will do scan Confused oh well....

Im off to bed, sick & tired lol....

Hi to everyone xx

HappyTangerine · 05/10/2010 00:30

I can't sleep, I'm excited. Feels a bit like Christmas Grin. Can't believe Joseph is 1 today, where has the year gone? He was born at 5pm. At this time last year, I was on all fours on my brand new sofa (complete with the teal cushions I'd bought that day). I was trying to watch the last few episodes of Harpers Island, in pain and I do believe I had started to moo Hmm.

As for Matalan, I'd started to get twinges in the car park and then it all got a bit painful in the store. I remember knocking over the display and people looking at the mad, scary pregnant lady before hurriedly lookig away when I glared at them. Dh decided to tell me to be careful in case I hurt myself and I just hissed "It already hurts before marching off in a strop muttering about cushions! Poor dh.Blush He really did think I was going to have the baby in Matalan car park, I could barely walk back to the car!

Bella Happy Birthday Nathaniel!

Scout Feel better soon, poor you. Hugs

Iggly Oh yes I got them, the baby was NOT allowed to arrive until I had my cushions!

Waves to everyone, I really must get some sleep x

Igglybuff · 05/10/2010 07:36

Happy Birthday Joe! (Glad you got the cushions HT. Did you have time to appreciate them though?? The first 6-8 months were such a blur for me, only now do I feel human again Grin)

Happy Birthday Nathaniel!

The nanny starts today.... I'm surprisingly calm and ok - probably because she doesn't actually start looking after William when I'm out of the house until next week. I'm worried it'll catch me unawares and I'll start blubbing in the supermarket or something.

Scout19075 · 05/10/2010 09:14

Stupid migraine. ARGH! I've been sleeping when Sebby does but not helping much. ARGH!!!

Laughing at all of the labor stories (probably shouldn't -- sorry!). I didn't go into labor naturally, so often where and what I'd be doing if I had.

Iggly Have a hand to hold on the first day of your nanny. It will be a-okay.

princessProudmel · 05/10/2010 14:11

Thanks for helping me on other thread iggly :)

ht Lol at the Matalan story!! :)

scout hope your head is feeling better. :)

iggly and littlepea the thought of being pregnant and sooo tired and F waking me up in the night is a horrible thought!!!Shock I hope you're coping ok.

When I was preg with dd , ds had started to sleep better. IF we have another one I'd hope F was sleeping better and feeding less.
I was Soooooooooo tired the first few months with F that I literally slept most of the day! Not possible with a 1 year old!

HappyTangerine · 05/10/2010 15:45

Iggly Hope today has gone well. I bet your hormones are really kicking in ow as well

Scout Really hope your migraine goes soon, I get them and they are so horrible.

PPM Hope you get some progress with the cows milk intolerance. Joe used to be sick after youghurts but not straight away, hours later. I dropped them and reintroduced v v slowly a few weeks later. He's always loved cheese and we've had no problems there.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes on FB, still can't believe Joseph is 1! He's had lovely pressies, lots of clothes. Loved all the wrapping paper!

It's around this time last year that they told me I'd be prepped for a c-section as his head was at a funny angle. Luckily, they tried forceps first and that worked (to everyone's shock). I remember this good looking bloke in scrubs coming to sit next to me before realising it was my dh! Blush.

Nice quiet day here, dh had to work and weather is awful so we're off to the zoo on Saturday. Joe took some more wobbly steps on his own and we were both there to see them Grin. Oh and AF showed up this morning, 5 days late [grumble]. Ah well.

waves to everyone x

Igglybuff · 05/10/2010 16:01

Wow HT congrats to Joe on walking! Great that you both were there.

PPM the tiredness doesn't seem as intense. I'm kind of used to it unfortunately.

Nanny went well - bit awkward in places especially when William was napping and I didn't know what to do! Usually I'd have a quick nap myself or MN but no such luck with her there.

Scout19075 · 05/10/2010 18:48

Headache finally subsiding -- YAY! Still not gone but so much better than it was.

Have finally figured out why I feel queasy lately whenever I'm washing up Sebby's dishes or making up milk -- the smell of the formula is turning my stomach. Blurgh! Yet another reason I miss BFing.

Seb's started grabbing the spoon from me and putting it in his mouth. So now I put the food on the spoon and offer him the spoon -- he's very happy with himself. He'll then give me the spoon back and grin asking for more. I can tell he's done when he throws the spoon down. LOL

Iggly Glad today was alright for you. When do you go back to work?

HT Isn't it fun to watch them with wrapping paper? Seb's acquired all of it from the anniversary presents my DH gave to me. He loves it. My in-laws gave us a present and because it was big, I put the big sheet of paper in Seb's toybox, which he thinks is funny. I'm thinking I should have just bought him a roll of wrapping paper for his birthday! LOL

I'm not going to Guides tonight, even though my head is a bit better. The thought of 30+ 10-16 year olds screaming in the hall just doesn't fill me with excitement. Shame I'm missing my YL teaching Irish Dancing, though, as I had been looking forward to giving it a try.

CalypsoFramboise · 05/10/2010 19:56

Hello all! I'm in sunny Spain at in-laws villa, and we've had a third 1st birthday party for Annalise (One for each set of grandparents!):) Had her 'proper' 1st party last Saturday and it was complete mayhem, with over 30 people and had much fun.

HC Big happy birthday cuddles to Matthew :o

I'm sorry to hear that the sickness is sooo bad littlepea, must be incredibly tough
with 2 DCs already!

iggly take care too, I know what you mean about not being able to nap when baby is napping when others are around, felt quite exhausted after having workmen about the house! Hope the nanny works out really well, and you enjoy your (brief!) return to work X

Scout hurrah for headache easing off, sounds completely horrible.

Bella hello you! x

HT sad that AF came after all, fingers crossed for next time and haha about the Matalan shopping faux-pas, teal cushions are nice though!

Hello to everyone else, a huge HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all impending birthdays if I don't have a chance to get back to MN before I return to soggy Britain Wink

Adios amigos

elmachoc · 05/10/2010 22:38

Happy Birthday Joe and well done HT It is really a big day for the mummies x

littlepea72 · 06/10/2010 07:06

BellaCullen · 06/10/2010 15:03

Have to go he`s just woken up be back later xxx

littlepea72 · 07/10/2010 13:59

Just been onto FB...thanks for all the birthday wishes for Faith Grin cant believe its a year already!! DH has gotten over for a week & we will have a wee family party on Saturday.

Got a letter from the hospital today, I have an appointment with them to "book in". This is the first time ive had to do this over here, its so different. I book in with the hospital & dont see a midwife untill im 16 weeks Biscuit strange.....Also went to the diabetic clinic yesterday, they want to keep an eye on me, its making it all so real now!

Mel my DS had bad problems with dairy, wheat & eggs untill he was 4, it was soya for him....terrible stuff but the difference was amazing.

Scout no wonder you are feeling sick with the F milk....yuk!!!

(((((waves to everyone))))

littlepea72 · 07/10/2010 14:08

Mel just read your other thread...we found out it was dairy because of DS's nappies. They were green & foul smelling, and the pain he used to be in was terrible. The hospital did a prick test on him also. Yoghurts were bad with him, and gravy too! Its not something I would waste time with, head to the doctors. There are so many products out there you can give him.

fidelma · 07/10/2010 22:40

Sorry I was elmachoc I had a name change and forgot to chnge it back Biscuit

Sliced my nail and finger last night chopping corriander far to fast with brand new knife. Not pretty.Must try and slow down.

Taught last ballet class tonight, children, parents, grannies and myself crying.Sad Hopefull going to become the dance coordinator so I can stay involved and pick it up. (when I an 60 lol)

Thinking of you all with your babies turning 1.

I wonder who will be still posting this time next year. I'm in Wink

Did I mention 4 is toooooo many. (still love it though)

HumphreysCorner · 08/10/2010 14:26

Hi all

'Tis my birthday today. Went to the music group with Matthew then went back to my friend's house and her DH bought us chips. Yum!

HT-clever Joe, he won't stop moving about now. Grin Sorry AF got you.

scout-mahoosive hug to you from one migraine sufferer to another. Chin up eh?

littlepea-that seems a long time to wait to be seen doesn't it. Sorry the sickness is so bad, that is the worse bit and you can't seem to see an end to it.

fidelma-slow down woman! Is 4 really too many?? I will be posting next year. Have been posting on my conception thread for 3 years and on my PN 2006 thread although not very often.

Better check on M who is asleep in the car.

Big wave!

HC

HappyTangerine · 10/10/2010 23:51

Just popping on quickly to wish Iggly good luck for tomorrow - am I right in thinking it is the nanny's first full day of looking after William on her own? You'll all be fine x

HC Hope you have had a lovely birthday and have been spoilt rotten.

fidelma So sorry you have had to give up your classes for now. Dance coordinator sounds like a good compromise though. Oww to the finger!

scout hope you're on the mend. Yes, the wrapping paper seems to be best part of the present at the moment-bodes well for Christmas!

Calypso Are you back from sunny Spain yet The birthday parties sound like a lot of fun.

littlepea Hope you are taking it easy

princessproudmel How is F now, are you any closer to finding out what is going on with the food?

Waves to all x
PS-I'll still be posting next year]smile]

littlepea72 · 11/10/2010 13:31

My MIL has told all my DH side of the family Angry she was told to keep it to herself....now one aunt has put it on FB AngryAngry

Scout19075 · 11/10/2010 18:54

Angry on your behalf, littlepea. I love FB for so many reasons, but I never, EVER share other people's news on the walls. That's just wrong!

iggly How was today? I was thinking about you. I was due to start back to work today (but didn't).

Have had a day's reprieve from the headache (last week) and have been feeling like cra@p ever since. I am seriously struggling, I think, and don't feel like I am coping at all (mentally and physically). Am very glad I have a clinic appointment at the hospital with the doctor on Friday.

fidelma · 11/10/2010 21:58

Scout Thinking of you hope you are Ok you are doing so well. This will pass. x

Littlepea Also very cross for you Angry how are you ?

Half term starts on Thursday. I am looking forward to some slow mornings Wink

I do love when the big 3 go to school and I get C all to myself. Brings back memories of dd1 10 years ago Shock feels like yesterday.Luckily I don't have any grey hairs yet although I should have a head full LOL (and slightly smug!!!!)

Taking C to see his great Grandama tomorrow. She loves seeing him. Out for lunch on Wed and the power is off all day on Thurs so will also go out for coffee to friends and Mums for lunch. I will pretend that this is my holiday rather than next week which will be full on.

Count down to Christmas.

DC found bag of stocking fillers in the boot of my car Sad dd1 knows but I want to get another year out of dd2 so I dont think they will be much use. (silly me)

We got an offer to use a friends house in Portugal for half term but decided that it would be easier to stay at home.Sad I think.

Igglybuff · 12/10/2010 09:16

Hi everyone!

Thanks HT. yes nanny is in charge but not for a full day as I'm too much of a wuss. She'll do 10-4.

scout I go back to work next tuesday.... There's still time to win the lottery Grin Sorry to hear things are tough for you. Is your DH able to help much? How's Seb getting on?

littlepea how RUDE of your MIL and aunt. I hope your DH Has Words. We've not told anyone yet as early days (7 weeks) - also my SIL is 15 weeks pregnant after two miscarriages so we don't want to steal her thunder!

fidelma sorry to hear the DC found the stocking fillers. You'll have to tell DD2 that Santa asks you to check the stock before handing it out Wink

morning sickness is kicking on big style. I can't go without eating every hour otherwise it gets worse. And only ice cold drinks will do - can't stand tap water. Or hot drinks really.
