I know, bless her and her tweaking

WTF is a google analytics account?!?! you're about to give me heart failure

RedLentil · 29/05/2010 21:53

Meetup - on
Google whatsit - another day. You've achieved a huge amount already.

Pace yourself, Effie.

dizzydixies · 29/05/2010 21:58

consider myself paced my next achievement I think is to download some pics etc - that will take me all next week at the rate I'm going

we have to be careful re meetup though as by casually trying to find out when the PIL are returning it might give them the impression that we're speeding up the return visit, what to do, what to do

hotterpotter · 29/05/2010 21:59

I do feel for you poor lassies with rubbish ILs my MIL adores my DC and only winds me up a small amount so I think I am pretty lucky. A lot of is is doewn to the fact she only lives about 3 miles away () so although we see her often it is never for too long. Of course once she moves in with her new boyfriend and goes to live in Cambridge then all bets are off...

dizzydixies · 29/05/2010 22:04

oh oh oh oh oooooohhh I have 2 comments on my blog god bless that anon person in RL world.

Hots - mine adores the DC too but only for 2 days twice a year when its outwith debenhams opening hours

readyforanything · 29/05/2010 22:08

hots yes, tis me - sorry for being so obscure a second time too

oops gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!

dizzy whilst I would happily live with you and your scrapping girls, I think the combination of my boys with them might be a step too far for both of us.

and... fuck fuckidy fuck fuck fuck (sorry). Can't go into details but £100 might as well just have been burnt, at least it would have kept us warm for 5 mins. A very painful lesson learned tonight.

hotterpotter · 29/05/2010 22:08

Dizz that Jane is someone you nearly met at Easter

dizzydixies · 29/05/2010 22:10

hots

readyforanything sorry for whatever happened and don't worry about the boys, DD2 is more than fit for them

hotterpotter · 29/05/2010 22:12

Hello readyforbed, yay that my detective skills are still supersharp but for you re dosh. Did you buy too many lotto tickets?

readyforanything · 29/05/2010 22:13

Oh a much happier note, both my SILs are pregnant - one due mid October, one due early December Looking forward to much baby snuggling towards the end of the year [proud sil emoticon]. Think DH's parents are in a bit of a state of shock though, from 4 to 6 grandchildren in the space of 2 months is going some!

readyforanything · 29/05/2010 22:17

hots at the idea that anyone could spend £100 on lottery tickets in one go. Though, to be honest, at least that might have had some gain. Still, tis done.

And oy, detective you may be, but I am now ready for anything not just bed (though if dh were here bed would be more appealing - reckon it will be dd or ds2 who ends up keeping me company tonight)

dizzydixies · 29/05/2010 22:21

fecking hell - £100 on lotto tickets and thats shite that NOTHING back from it. congrats on the SILs though.

readyforanything · 29/05/2010 22:23

dizzy how old is dd2 now? I don't think introducing her and ds2 is a good idea... mischief wouldn't begin to describe what could happen .

Although a parent at school came up to me yesterday and told me that ds2 was one of the most polite children she had ever met , apparently he is always the first one to say thankyou to the bus driver etc and his politeness gets all the other started. I said thankyou graciously, thinking reckon it's more cos he is a total charmer, and a) likes the sound of his own voice and b) likes to have people on his side - am I too harsh?

hotterpotter · 29/05/2010 22:23

D'oh ... Have you moved yet m'dear? Is it all going smoothly? I have been left feeling a little and also [inadequate] by pert's beautiful hopeful house but that is not her fault but mine for not working harder

readyforanything · 29/05/2010 22:25

NOOOO not £100 on lotto tickets. If it had, i would hope to have got at least a tenner back. Let's just say, the one who has just been mentioned is not being mentioned in a positive way this evening.

dizzydixies · 29/05/2010 22:26

ready - she turned 4 on Sunday just passed, bless her. And I have a feeling that DD1 is so well behaved because she too likes people to like her etc - I can cope with that though!!

dizzydixies · 29/05/2010 22:27

ah, sorry, he who shall not be mentioned or am I getting it completely wrong?

readyforanything · 29/05/2010 22:28

hots still haven't sold house [bored]. We have just switched estate agents so fingers crossed something will happen. Otherwise I guess we will look at dropping the price. We would be up for an offer, but I don't want to drop too much as then people will expect to get it even cheaper iyswim and we can't afford to do that to move where we want to.

Pert's future place is indeed lovely.

dizzydixies · 29/05/2010 22:30

over here for a helping hand with my whinge please ladies

readyforanything · 29/05/2010 22:31

Something like that...

DS2 (who shall not be mentioned) is an absolute dream when he is with other people, it is only at home he can often be a little git less so.

dizzydixies · 29/05/2010 22:35

same as mine then, and you'd be more than welcome up here, my girls certainly aren't girly girls and DD2 insists on wearing her 'boy' shoes everywhere whilst she terrorises people at the speed she goes on her scooter!

hotterpotter · 29/05/2010 22:37

Well I've been to buy a big tin of paint to touch up the lounge/dining room in anticipation of estate agent valuation. The house we like (on paper) has been for sale for a year so hopefully not too much of a rush on...
