Good enough for ya dog .

And sorry I do realise some are only turning 14 mths and some are nearly 16mths etc,etc......apologies!

All officially toddlers now though i think (well 120's H and HKZ's J are pulling up/taking steps now I think, think mostly everyone walking of some sort!) Scary thought!

treedelivery · 29/04/2010 09:57

Sounds fun day Tink.

Headache just humming in back ground but ok. H up a few times so bit zonked. H slept with her hand down my top all night

DD1 had the most massive melt down ever at school lne up. Complete wthkicking and being carried in.

She's so tired and toxic wth poo. If only I'd been home yesterday I would have got her on loo, got that sorted and got her to sleep earlier. This is all so unfair on her.

Sttttressss!! Tempted to take her home at lunch even if she's fine. Def no gym tonight.

Anyhoooo, morning all!

moosemama · 29/04/2010 10:24

Morning Tink and Tree.

Headache has got a firm grip, I would almost go so far as to say it has teeth! Flippin hormones. Had to get up in the night to get painkillers as the combination of cramps and head was keeping me awake. You guessed it - dd slept through - I didn't.

Have told dh I am taking a sick day, but have already made the lunches, done ds1's school diary, rewashed the boys faces and rebrushed their teeth, checked their school bags and brushed their hair, then fed, bathed, and dressed dd, cleaned the dogs bed and put her bedding onto wash, put away several piles of washing, done the dishes, wiped round the bathroom and vacuumed downstairs. Think is, he will now be thinking I am lying on the sofa watching daytime tv and when he comes home he is guaranteed not to notice all the things I've done.

I have just sat down with a cinnamon and raising bagel smothered in green and black's chocolate spread and a cup of coffee and am seriously tempted to stay planted here for the rest of the day.

Tree, poor dd1. The combination of being overtired and having digestive issues is really horrible for them isn't it, especially when they have to go to school and get through yet another tiring day. We go through it with ds1 on a regular basis as well, although not constipation, rather hours spent on the toilet with a bad stomach. If your heart is telling you to pick her up at lunch time, I would do it. I've learned over the years with my boys that sometimes peace and quiet at home with Mummy is the only prescription that works.

At least we have a three day weekend for them to recover this weekend.

Tink, teddy club sounds like fun. We have had lots of building work done at our school over the past year as well. They are nearing completion of a new under 5's centre which will be great for dd and I as its all of about a minute and a half's walk away from my house and they are apparently going to run all sorts of activities there.

treedelivery · 29/04/2010 10:30

I didn't know ds1 had tummy trouble? Bless.

Your ds and my dd would get on fab you know.

Your brunch sounds magic. I'm 'testing' the walkers world cup crisps. HOuse is a pig stye but hey ho. DD is asleep on me and I mght doze off too! Meant to be meeting friend for lunch at 12, so what I should do is shower. Oh well!

Testng results so far:
American cheeseburger - taste stale
Argentinean steak - taste like normal beef crisps but nice all the same

I love crisps.

tinkhasaspringinherstep · 29/04/2010 10:37

mm - sorry to hear you were up in the nite i get period cramps and headaches when i am due!!! blooming ew!!!

we enjoyed tumble club

treedelivery · 29/04/2010 10:40

Gosh yes I never even sent ((hugs)) Moose. Could you nap today?

Have hugs with crisps. (((((()))))))

moosemama · 29/04/2010 10:45

Its the gluten thing Tree. The only time in his life since weaning that he was ever free from toilet trouble was when he was gluten free between 1 November and 1 March.

I am positive they would get on as well. He has quite the female fan base you know. All of my friends daughters follow him around with huge doe eyes and one particular 6 year old latches onto him like a limpet and doesn't let him go until we peel her off him. He takes it all in very good spirit, probably because, firstly being a boy and secondly having ASD he doesn't really notice.

I have a houseful of bagels after somehow managing to add four packs to my shopping basket instead of one when I did my Tesco shop. Doh!

I tend to go through phases of eating loads of crisps, but then don't eat them for months. Funnily enough I was craving them big time last week but didn't manage to buy any. Haven't tried any of the new Walkers flavours yet. There seem to be a lot of meaty ones, which don't really appeal.

I am also in need of a shower, (my hair looks frankly untoucheable, most unsavoury ) but it will have to wait until dd's naptime now, which should hopefully be around 11.00.

moosemama · 29/04/2010 10:49

Thanks Tink. My periods got better and I didn't get the headaches after I had ds2, but it would appear they have decided to return to previous bad form since having dd.

Naps! What are they then?

I really want crisps again now and dh isn't coming home for lunch, so I can't call him to get me some on his way. Don't think I can face a crawl to the shops today.

My favourite crispy treat is to have a big bag of chipsticks and a pot of sour cream or cheese and chive dip. Luvverly, but OMG the saturated fat!

tinkhasaspringinherstep · 29/04/2010 11:20

mm - i luv sour cream dip with pringles

dd2 usually goes down for nap @ 12:20 till 2:20pm have just put her down early as going going to school for 1:30

moosemama · 29/04/2010 11:26

Dd absolutely refusing to nap this morning. She asked to go in her swing and for her blanket, but is now working really hard at staying awake.

Why do they always decide to do this when you can least cope with it?

teaandcakeplease · 29/04/2010 11:43

I'm very mean with my DS and if I know he's tired, I just keep lying him down and leaving room again for a few minutes at a time, until he finds his thumb and then passes out

Sorry she's being tricky Moose Hope you find a master plan that works for you, so you can rest a wee while x

moosemama · 29/04/2010 12:02

Resorted to putting Cbeebies on and letting her stare at Waybuloo and she's finally dropped off so am off for a shower before she wakes up.

tinkhasaspringinherstep · 29/04/2010 14:20

dd2 gave up her morning naps ages ago she just naps in the aft.
went to see dd1 cutting ribbon couldnt see very well and got soaked getting from the car

teaandcakeplease · 29/04/2010 14:55

My boy still sleeps 10.30am and 3pm at Tink's DC.

treedelivery · 29/04/2010 19:38

Full of cold. Itchy ears, swollen throat and runny nose. Yak. And a big thick head full of cotton wool.

DH has to do some course work for the morning so I am not getting 'relieved' this eve, although he has H on his knee trying to settle her now. Everything crossed she settles!

DD was a nghtmare ont he school run. Massive screams and fghts to get her in the door. This eve she has been much more cheerfull as the poo is out.
I've just given her a massive guilt trip though as she was out of bed and I told her I worried about her all day, about how tired she was and if she had stopped crying. I said it wasn't fair when I helped her to settle and go to bed feeling lovely and happy, for her to keep herself awake at night and make the school run horrid. She knows her morning tears were down to being tired, so now she is sad faced and staring at the wall.

Arrrrgh!

treedelivery · 29/04/2010 19:40

We need a guilt smiley!

Hope you're feeling ok DOG. x

moosemama · 29/04/2010 20:57

Evening Tree

A rotten stinky cold, you poor thing. You definitely need to medicate with chocolate, cake and of course .... crisps.

Glad dd is feeling better after her poo.

If its any consolation, I upset both my boys with one sentence when they were in a good mood this afternoon - not bad considering they'd only been home from school for about ten minutes.

moosemama · 29/04/2010 20:58

What's up with Dog? Is she ok?

treedelivery · 29/04/2010 20:59

Oh I was just wondering and letting her know was thinking of her

I think her pelvis is killing her. I'll see if she has updated FB.

moosemama · 29/04/2010 21:11

Thanks Tree. Its my 'I'm not on FB paranoia', I just assumed something had happened.

treedelivery · 29/04/2010 21:33

You should join. Make up a name, tell it only to one of us via CAT, invlude no pics etc. Then you could keep an over view on all proceedings

No Doggy news as such.

H flopped about her cot for 40 mins, then fnally lost her rag, SHe is dozing off pn my chest.

moosemama · 29/04/2010 21:38

Dd is still awake! That'll teach me for letting her sleep for 3 hours during the day because I'm poorly and its lovely and quiet when she's asleep.

She is lolling about in her swing doing everything in her power to keep herself awake. Her eyes keep going, but she's really fighting it tonight.

Dh is job hunting online again, whilst intermittently turning to me and ranting about companies asking the earth and not giving anything in return etc etc.

Oh the joy of quiet weeknights at home.

missjackson · 30/04/2010 09:09

Attempting to catch up so big waves to everyone. Got back from London late last night. Have very difficult decision to make today - have been offered three days a week (usual job) for three months, and they would rota me around my sister's schedule (she is freelance musician) and I would pay her to look after N. Driving up & down M4 would be the killer. OH so busy over the summer that he just can't leave. So hard to decide! Money & grown up fun -v- lovely summer with my baby and OH.

tinkhasaspringinherstep · 30/04/2010 09:33
