Morning .

50ftQueenie · 02/02/2010 09:46

Morning CSWS. Smiley face = good night?

OP posts:
KSal · 02/02/2010 13:31

like the new smiley

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/02/2010 13:45

Oh I hadn't noticed it. Shame they didn't come up with something shorter to type for it though .

Decent night 50ft, but the smile was just a plain and simple good morning everyone smile .

StarExpat · 02/02/2010 13:55

aw he's cute

50ftQueenie · 02/02/2010 16:57

Ah brilliant! That saves a lot of accidental s. I do often get accused of being a bitch for using when actually I mean .

I am in an Ikea mood. Bloody non-fitting doors. I KNEW there was a reason I didn't want anymore of their cheap reasonably priced tat. Grrrr.

pistachio.

Oh. My. God. I just had a bit of G&B milk chocolate. It's been soooo long since I've had milk choc. It was bloody delicious, but now I want to eat the rest of the (mini) bar, and not sure that my will power will allow me to resist.

Ds gone to bed normally last night and again tonight btw, so looks like whatever was causing the screaming has abated.

I'm eating the G&B 85% cocoa dark. This is purely for medicinal purposes as I'm clearly going to be up all night with the snall teething one (sigh). Bored of teething.
pistachio - LOL!

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/02/2010 20:30

Ooh 85% is too strong for me. I didn't eat dark choc at all until it became my only option.

50ftQueenie · 02/02/2010 20:45

Evening all. Yum and to delicious 85% cocoa chocolate. I've just eaten a big bowl of bright green spinach and broccoli soup.

Pepper - Have you tried the Tesco finest one? It is SUPER yummy!

Pistachio - That is something to remind him of when he brings his first girlfriend home.

CSWS - I feel your pain. I resisted eating a crumb of chocolate brownie as I feared that a shark-like feeding frenzy would ensue.

My lovely mummy fixed my Ikea bookshelf so I have now calmed down.

Pistachio -

Ooh I'm fancying some chocolate now. None in the house.

I think I've got a teething child too. He was up for more than an hour last night. He's really tired but didn't want to go to sleep. I went into see him and he just kept giving me big sloppy kisses. Such a mummy's boy.

The minibeasts haven't turned up yet. And the TA complained that a kit kat has gone missing out of her bag which was stored in my cupboard. We've turned the classroom upside down looking and nothing, so I've given the children an amnesty until end of the day tomorrow...

aubergenie · 02/02/2010 20:55

50ft - Every time I get home with something from Ikea I rue the fact that I'm not rich enough to shop at Heals.

Oh dear Aubergenie. It does sound like someone has light fingers. What a shame. I totally agree with you about the furniture. I would love, just once to get something that I didn't have to build myself. We did work out that for the price of our stupid uncomfortable sofas, we could have got a three piece suite from Heals. Hrumph. We were going to get a few bits from John Lewis, but, for the what would have been the price from two bits we got loads of stuff.

Is it this Sunday that people are going to Ronshar's? I was wondering about coming on the train, as dp's got other plans. Ronshar are you very far from the station?

50ftQueenie · 02/02/2010 21:16

Indeed Aubergenie. You had better be coming.....

Any requests from The Book ladies? Not Chocolate & Pistachio so as not to poison Ronshar's dd.

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 02/02/2010 21:21

Yes this sunday. I thought that she said the choc and pistachio was ok as long as we didn't let her dd have any? I really want to try it!
But I also love the almondy one with apricots or peaches (I forget which) in it. Not that I can eat cake of course . Will check book in a mo for others that I fancy but haven't tried yet!

Am sure that one of us could pick you up from a nearby station aubergenie.

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/02/2010 21:38

Lemon drops, almond honey cake with apricots and vanilla, lemon sunflower seed and blueberry muffins, vanilla cream and raspberry swiss roll, american vanilla cupcakes, caramel swiss roll with passionfruit cream. Happy to sample any of those .

50ftQueenie · 02/02/2010 21:44

Hmmmm.... I think Lemon Drops AND American Vanilla cupcakes. I am a fan of the cup cake. I haven't got a swiss roll tin.......

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 02/02/2010 21:46

No swiss roll tin . And you call yourself a baker. When's your birthday again? You need to get dh to buy you one, for the good of us all!

50ftQueenie · 02/02/2010 21:57

I was SURE I had one. I asked for baking stuff for Christmas, did I get any? Not unless you can bake with L'Occitane bath stuff.
