Me too, night-night

TwilightSurfer · 16/01/2010 01:34

Who you calling LazyAss???? LOL!

Hello! Yes, tis me the famous TwilightSurfer who, might I add, has only been absent for 36 hours and it took a bloody hour and a half to catch up with you chatterboxes.

Nice to see nothing has happened since I've been gone.

TwilightSurfer · 16/01/2010 01:35

bah ha ha aha hah ha!!!
Just kidding! OMG! You lot are planning a WEDDING!!!!!

TwilightSurfer · 16/01/2010 01:46

Miamla congratulations. I love the zoo venue. Most excellent! And the dress you've planned to replicate is absolutely beautiful and exactly what I would pick for my own (pregnant or not). What may I do to help with your planning?

Lucky a while back you commented on post-childminder monster syndrome. My dd1 has it. It is better now but in the early years of preschool I dreaded picking her up. OMG! She was a dream child for them but unraveled as soon I we walked out the door. Very physical too. I found that having food in hand at pickup solved the problem. We started having tailgate lunches at pickup, EVERY pickup. Sometimes her friends would tailgate with us since they thought it was a cool idea. Little did they know I was defeating a monster tantrum session with FOOD. I pride myself on figuring that one out. Now there were times the attitude would continue (and still does) but it's much better than those early days. Thank goodness.

No1 (((hugs)))

Captain sounds like O had a virus. That's exactly what happened to Reese. She seemed fine then spotted up then had diarrhea (this was a few months ago). The spots were just post viral rash. I seriously had no idea she'd been sick until the rash.

I have a funny story to share. Off to find the link first....

TwilightSurfer · 16/01/2010 01:54

Okay can't find the story link and I'm too tired to attempt to retell it right now. Maybe tomorrow.

Night

What on Earth could an accountant learn from Numberjacks??? That is one of the programmes I hate the most, just behind the fecking Green Balloon Club, aarrrgghhh DD loves the songs and will play them over and over and over...

Loti I hope you have a lovely time swimming with all your family

TS sorry we had legged it to bed before you came on last night. Hope you had a good chat with sazz on skype though

It's pouring with rain here too, virtually all the snow is gone, hurrah! Looks very gloomy though, hoping the forecast lovely day does materialise tomorrow then I might take my lot out somewhere in the car

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 16/01/2010 08:47

Morning

Early 6am start today.[yawn]
DS woke up wet up to his arm pits again.
I also think he wakes due to being cold. Tried a blanket for the first time last night and he was not happy about it, Dh went up to try and settle him, and ended up fetching him downstairs, and he didnt go to bed till 10pm.
May buy another gro bag and try again with one of them.

miamla well done you on the organising.
Congratulations.
I am currently trying to sort my sister out ewith hers, her date is 16th May. I have just arranged her hen night. Mamma Mia night.

Any excuse for dressing up, dh has mentioned I buy something ultra sexy,so it can be used again...

hotter your ds is utterly adorable, I would not worry about his weight. I had so much guilt and pressure from hv that ds did not weigh enough,it drove me almost insane with worry. If it wasn't for you lot reassuring me, well I just don't know.

pertelote how sweet of M singing and dancing, I love the little grin they do when they are pleased with themselves.
cyteen ds eats loads, I keep saying growth spurt, but it is constant.

Ds is saying so much now, and will try to repeat anything and everything.
I also got to mention that when you tell him not to do something he pulls a face which is cross between the 'cat bum face' that cyteen mentioned and a Mick Jagger pout. Very funny.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 16/01/2010 08:50

Hotter dd has now gone off Numberjacks and also loves Green Ballon Club.
Her other favourite is Superwhy Oh and not forgetting Peppa pig.
TV has now been on an an hour, I am thinking of what to do on this bloody miserable wet day.

hotterpotter · 16/01/2010 08:54

Hi No1 it is yucky out isn't it. Has it melted all your snow though? [hopeful]

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 16/01/2010 08:55

Someone coming to look at 'charlotte' tomorow. She does sound pretty perfect though, and home is much more important to me than price.(I have told 3 potential buyers no already.
I told one of them that she had sold already.

I insist she goes to someone who practices Natural Horsemanship like me, and she has being doing it with her own horses for the last two years, so fingers crossed.
She is also not far from me,so that is good too.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 16/01/2010 08:57

Yes nearly all gone, just afew mounds left that used to be snowmen.
We had much distress from dd when they started melting the other day, it was a repeat of when she watched snowman at christmas.
Utterly devasted.Bless her.

hotterpotter · 16/01/2010 09:10

Oh No1 it must be so sad to have to sell your pony, but at least you know she will only go to a good home.

Both DC now entranced watching themselves on the webcam, pulling silly faces and yabbering away to themselves

How are things with you and DH? Mine had me in tears again yesterday, I cannot seem to say anything to him which is slightly critical without him going off in a massive huff and getting angry/defensive. It makes me feel like some unreasonable DH coming home and asking 'but what do you do all day' I know he does tidy up after the DC which is a constant job but I am fed up of having to go to work when he doesn't but still having to do as much housework as him. I think I have got across that just doing the washing and half an hour a day of cleaning would make me so much happier, hopefully he has listened to me this time.

Eek not sure where that rant came from sorry!

hotterpotter · 16/01/2010 09:17

OK DD has been pestering me for an hour a bit to read Cinderella and it's starting to give me a headache. Back later

sambo303 · 16/01/2010 09:36

morning
hots I could have written that post!! dp at home all day , housework not on his list apparently! our massive agrument last wkend was due to my less than supportive comments along the lines of I think you should put more effort into getting a job (after 8 months of listening to "I;m on th e scrap heap). Fed up of being understanding cos Im 39 now and wanted dc2 before the big 4 oh. humpf
enjoy cinderella

no1 how sad re charlotte. hope you find a nice new owner. Does you dh's comment on wedding garb mean you and dh getting on better? I did so feel for you - read your long post on last thread but dp chased me off before I could reply;

ds has really grown, i am shocked at how massive he is now - really bulky on the shoulders, trousers at half mast. He's asleep now unusually as he was so tired over breakfast he was chucking porridge across the room. He also does a weird pouting cross face thing like he's saying oooo and frowning at the same time.

miamla loving the vicarious wedding preps - esp the dress thing. Loved that pic of the pg bride, she looked fab! buckets that gypsy b& b is so lovely, I'm filing that away for future ref

its pouring here, wish I had won that £26m; I'd be flying 1st class to Barbados now with nanny for ds in tow
