You see I read that as a tectonic penis and thought it gave a whole new meaning to the earth moved for me

Have another BA spotting to report. In the 'What's under your bed' thread...

"Nothing.

Perhaps a very light sprinkling of dust? Must get the Dyson out!"

Lovely.

Although there is nothing under my bed either.

dawntigga · 06/01/2010 19:36

I prefer OPI myself

Surely someone has googled both teutonic and tectonic penises by now?

AuldAlliance · 06/01/2010 20:05

I have oil! And I fired up the boiler (very scary experience down in a cold, dark outhouse/boiler/laundry room), and it shook, squealed, died and then on the second try it worked. The radiators are slowly heating up.

A spent an afternoon in the CM's cosy house and is much better. I am very, very relieved as this morning he was so out of it I was worried it was some nasty listless symptom of a major problem.
He has not eaten for ages, though, and has obv got into v bad habits while ill, as I rocked him to sleep upright when he was so congested he couldn't breathe, took him into my bed a lot, and BF him whenever I could to calm him down and soothe him. Bedtime tonight was tricky!

Tigga, I have no idea what kind of Ducati it is. If I said "red", that would show you the extent of my technical knowhow.

Fei, I am suprised BA didn't write, "A sprinkling of dust. Must get the cleaning lady to toe the line."

Right, I must get some washing up done and then some work. Yawn.

Does anyone know if BB and Springy made it into 2010 OK?

Guimauve · 06/01/2010 20:06

New penis thread!!!

Feierabend · 06/01/2010 20:17

Gui I just googled and all I could find were some styrofoam penises. Not worth linking to Must watch Prince Caspian now. Laters.

Evening

Sorry haven't been on with news, have been very busy with Orbit refusing to sleep anywhere except on me, DS1 not going to nursery today due to snow, reading BA's crazy clothes/weight gain thread , and stuff.

So we haven't had the results of the MRI yet but it all went fine, she was a bit wobbly and tired afterwards as they had no heating in the building and it was at 8am - not a good time to be in a hospital gown She didn't sleep too well the night before, either, and apparently they inject something halfway through which made her feel sick. She came round here afterwards (the hospital is just up the road) and looked a bit pale, but we fed her bread and Marmite and chicken casserole and she felt better afterwards. I think she's very relieved to have got it over with, she slept very well last night so we're just waiting for results now. Thank you for all your good wishes and thoughts, it's very cheering

Auld really glad your heating is back on, the thought of it was making me shiver! - it's meant to be -7 tonight here so DS1 has gone to bed in long jammies and socks, and will get a blanket over him when the heating goes off at our bedtime. Orbit will be fine, he's always in our bed by 11pm anyway and we have a lovely new goose feather duvet

Also, my sister saw an 'otorhinolaryngologiste' in France - turns out it's an Ear Nose and Throat Doctor. The French do like their technical words, don't they

I too used to paint my nails, different shade of glittery every weekend for going clubbing. In fact, I spent most of my time at uni either covered in glitter - glitter shoes, glitter clothes, glitter makeup - or trying to wash off glitter. Those were the days

Puzzle hope DH got home ok?

bebe I would have a serious word with DH if I were you. Not asseptable [sic] behaviour, as Supernanny would say.

kingbeat turns out my employer has a FW application form, am just waiting for my colleague to send it to me as I have completely forgotten how to access the intranet from home

There is much crapola under our bed. We need a bigger house. Still haven't found anywhere to live. Went to see this place the other day, but although the garden was magnifique, sadly there was a very good reason why there are no photos of the bathrooms, and the decor was so yesteryear as to be downright depressing. Plus an immersion heater for hot water - can you imagine the bills? Back to the drawing board.

I am in the mood for a namechange. Watch this space.

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 06/01/2010 20:39

p.s. quote of the day from DS1

DS1 - 'I don't like cheese on toast'

Me - 'Yes you do, you eat it at nursery all the time'

DS1 - 'Yes but I don't like it when the cheese is flat.'

Guimauve · 06/01/2010 20:50

You know what they say about girls who wear glitter...

Our respiratory physicians at work are more properly bronchopharyngopulmonologists. Or something close to that, I forget.

Very confused about talk of FW applications. 'You have to apply to be a FanjoWarrior?', thought I . Ooooh, a namechange, eh? That will take some getting used to! Is it an annual thing? Did you change from Littlemydancing this time last year?

Feier - surely you are going to attempt to win the thread?

kingbeat23 · 06/01/2010 21:02

projectile vomit and runny poo combined with eggy burps...vomit all over me....
