Supernatural isn't scary. It's pretty. And filled with slashy goodness.

What is she wearing, the clone?

largeginandtonic · 18/11/2009 22:07

She currently has on Martha jeans, jersy tunic and purple shoes. Last spotted heading off to a SOH gig.

Supernatural may be pretty but it's still fecking scary.

Very pleased with myself..... got my SS today and i think it is a genius present

Pinkjenny · 19/11/2009 14:55

SCOOT??? Is your phone working yet?

Pinkjenny · 19/11/2009 15:01

I can't believe you made me go to the luxe shoes on the Dotty P's website. If I don't get those blue ankle boots, I just don't know what will become of me.

As you were.

Themasterandmargaritas · 19/11/2009 16:22

They are nice, I rather like them. Treat yourself why don't you? Celebrate the end of work.

Pinkjenny · 19/11/2009 16:29

Oooh, that is a great idea. Something to reward me for surviving the two hour commute this far into my pg

Themasterandmargaritas · 19/11/2009 16:32

Two hours? Blimey. You'd better buy the black pair as well then.

largeginandtonic · 19/11/2009 20:16

They are hideous. They would make my legs look incredibly fat.

The court shoes are passable. I think i am old

For a 2 hour commute i would be buying myself some Jimmy Choos!

No more vomit. Dare i say it seems to have gone. Will wait and see.

I am off to start a thread on health. Am utterly fucked off with my nether regions.

OP posts:
JamInMyWellies · 19/11/2009 20:46

LG&T am off to hunt down that thread, you must get yur neither regions in order before DH gets home.

largeginandtonic · 20/11/2009 10:06

JamInMyWellies · 20/11/2009 10:50

Lovey what a bugger. I think the pill just doesnt suit some people. I am due to go back on it soon and I know from past experience it will take about 4-6mth to settle down and will bleed on and off for most of that. The coil or the cap would they work for you?

So exciting he is coming home.

largeginandtonic · 20/11/2009 11:28

I had the magic mirena coil fitted after Phin, i bled for 6 months non stop and they took it out.

I fell pregnant with the twins using cap, spermicide AND condom. I wont be trying that again

I am over here

ShowOfHands · 20/11/2009 11:42

I'm busy building a shop out of cardboard, glue and paint. Might find some glitter to really kitsch it up a bit. If anybody does have a little till they would be willing to sell to me, I'd bite your arm off. How's that for gratitude?

LG&T, a good gynae for investigation. My Grandma, Mum and Mum's sisters all had hysterectomies early because of terrible periods and my Mum found the reason for hers in an investigatory operation before the hysterectomy. Had she had the investigation done earlier, they could have treated the problem. Two migraines a month, lasting days, vomitting, in bed in severe pain. She had the hysterctomy anyway as was fed up and approaching the menopause anyway. Her migraines were related to the periods so catch 22. She hasn't had another migraine since the op. Get investigated please.

I don't even need to click on blue ankle boots to know I don't like them.

Tell my clone I want my jeans back. I looked at them in Topshop btw. I didn't dare try them on. £40!! That's eight Christmas presents (I'm not tight, both our families adopted a £5 limit years ago when people started pairing off and having babies). Still expensive.

The jeans are beautiful.

Right, off for a run...

largeginandtonic · 20/11/2009 18:58

Where are you all?

The children want to stay up till 12. Greeeeaaat. They will be off to bed when i go.

Am having a G&T to numb the pain...

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 20/11/2009 19:47

Right, M's in bed. Let's have a Friday night. Not an MN Friday night, quite apart from DH not being here, I know nothing about anal sex.

Share your guilty secrets. C'mon. I know you're on the gin the lot of you.

LG&T, do your lot watch Merlin? I watch and appreciate Merlin in the same way I appreciate Supernatural iyswim. It's great.

largeginandtonic · 20/11/2009 20:28

Avid Merlin watchers here. They were just all in hysterics over the Merlin snippet on Chilren in Need. Did you see it?

I am on the gin. My second.

I don't like anal sex. That's my guilty secret. That and i ate a chocolate cake 2 nights ago. Tills knows that though.

You?

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 20/11/2009 20:53

Nah, was watching, er, Merlin! It'll be on YouTube. I could write Merlin you know. Uther falls for magic spell, shouts at everybody and doesn't see what's in front of him, Merlin uses magic to save the day, Uther moans about magic, the end. What am I talking about? Merlin wouldn't sound like that if I wrote it... it'd be much better.

A secret? You know all of my secrets and I'm not admitting them on here.

Actually, no, I could admit to one thing. Once upon a time in a kingdom far away, I went to a college leaver's ball with DH, then bf. He bought me a single red rose. We went to the ball, we danced (he told me years later that he wanted to propose that night but thought I'd be scared off- we'd only been together 2 years and we were VERY young), it was magical. We went home, to my parents' who were away at the time. We had a brilliant evening. We had to throw the rose away...

And I'm not drinking!

largeginandtonic · 20/11/2009 21:05

You are a soppy thing.

I am on a diet thread, tis dull.

OP posts:
largeginandtonic · 20/11/2009 21:14

I want to look like this

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 20/11/2009 21:32

I'd settle for looking like you acksherley Gin. Second choice would be... hmmmm.... anybody other than me right now.

largeginandtonic · 20/11/2009 21:40

Thanks. You are MAD but thanks.

What's up with you? You were svelte and toned last time i saw you!

Can you run in the dark on your own? Is that just silly? I want to run but it will have to be early or late in the day (dark atm)

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 20/11/2009 22:04

Early's better than late. I love to run in the dark.

I'm just fed up with the way I look. I feel like doing something radical. I'm one big stretchmark. Everywhere. Legs, boobs, stomach. Pregnancy/birth has really changed the way I see myself. I still feel overweight but realistically know I'm not. I've got the beginnings of a 6 pack you know, though the stretchmarks disguise it well. DH commented this morning that I dress like I'm still overweight and he's right. Baggy clothes, shapeless but I don't know how to change it. I think dh must look at me and cringe. I used to have nice skin and boobs that hadn't bfed for 2.5 years. And it annoys me that it annoys me because what do looks matter really?

Blah blah. I'm boring myself.

largeginandtonic · 20/11/2009 22:19

It is so hard to accept your body the way pregnancy changes it. Everything is redistributed.

You have to remember that dh loves you, just as he loved you before.

You need a wardrobe revamp. Shall i write to that Nicky woman or Gok?

Why don't you live next door?
