Tills I truly hope you and the family are all feeling better.

Now I'll go and read the rest of the thread properly, not through sozzled eyes.

Tillyscoutsmum · 14/11/2009 18:01

TMAM - Hope your head isn't too bad.

Feeling much better today - have been able to eat a bit and keep it in. Still feel like I could sleep for a week though

AM - I don't think my scales have started with a 9 since I was about 14

AprilMeadow · 14/11/2009 20:00

When i got married 5yrs ago i weighted exactly 9st and that is my goal weight. i want to get back to that before i get to the big 30 in 18mths time.

Themasterandmargaritas · 15/11/2009 17:13

FINAL CALL FOR SECRET SANTAISTS, THIS IS YOUR FINAL CALL. CAT ME OR EMAIL OF FB. BUT DO IT SOON!

I don't bother with scales, they are the work of the devil. I am 56kgs, I have been forever, only deviating by around 30kgs when pregnant.

Exercise is the key.

Anyhow, it's inner beauty that counts. You are all gorgeous to me.

God partying is hard isn't it? That was Wed, Thurs and Fri night. Then all day yesterday at the lake while dd was sailing, then we were out today at Moto X watching tiny boys go zooming around at a million miles an hour with panic stricken mothers hiding behind their sunnies. Needless to say ds1 is smitten.

TheGreatScootini · 16/11/2009 09:49

Whats your email again?I want in for the secret santa!

I weigh 9 stone 4 pounds. It doesnt matter what I do, I cannot lose those 4 pounds.I have about 3 weeks to do it as I want to be bloody skinny for my 30th.If I have to not be in my twenties Im going to be relatively skinny.

If I wasnt flued up I would be out doing some exercise, which in normal circumstances I would NEVER say, so desperate am I.

I feel like death I tell you.Where can I get one of these duvet coats of which you speak SOH?

Good news on the car AM..my new car comes on Friday.I desperartely wanted a fiat 500.Unfortunately could only fit one child in without alot of difficulty so have ended up beign persuaded by DH into getting something called a Vauxhall Agila. Its quite small (didnt want anything big because the petrol costs a fortune to get into work and for big journeys we take DH's car anyway), and this one was a demonstration model with only 3 thousand miles on it, but was 7k instead of 10 and half and comes with warranty and what not.Which is all very well except I dont really like it.Hey ho.Is better than my very battered scenic which makes a suspicious clattering noise and only has one working windscreen wiper.

I have two quite important meetings this afternoon but I dont feel good at all.I cant decided wether to go in or not.Should do really but am feeling a little bit dizzy.

Mae and I are having a nice cup of tea.She is like an old person in a 2 year olds body sometimes.

DH and I are going away to a very remote bit of the Lakes next weekend for a bit of hiling and drinking ale in country pubs etc etc.Unfortunately for him New Moon is out on Thursday.Hence Friday night will see us driving a round trip of 30 miles to go and see it in the nearest town.I have just booked the tickets.I am sure he will be thrilled.I am VERY EXCITED!

TheGreatScootini · 16/11/2009 09:50

Hiling. Its the new hiking dont you know.

elkiedee · 16/11/2009 10:14

Never use foundation here, last time I used powder I discovered it was too light as my skin is still not as pale as normal even in November.

Last time I was 9 stone (in my late 20s) it was because I was really miserable and I seemed to have lost loads of weight without meaning to. But good luck to all of you trying to lose weight.

Glad to hear SOH that you got the news you wanted.

Good luck Scoot with finding a more local job.

TheGreatScootini · 16/11/2009 10:22

Hiya Elkie!Nice to see you.

Here, where is TYG these days?

AprilMeadow · 16/11/2009 10:39

Ladies...... have a peek on blog.sunshine.co.uk to win a holiday to tenerife

JamInMyWellies · 16/11/2009 18:08

fuck a duck the dress doesnt fit somehow need to loose an inch of back fat. Off to the gym tonight.

TMAM how was your hangover.

Tilly how are you feeling?

SCOOT love that Mae like a cup of tea so sweet.

AprilMeadow · 16/11/2009 20:20

BUGGER - you could always try some body wraps.....

Moijaimelacountry · 16/11/2009 21:21

Take it to a wedding dress shop Jam... they should have a good seamstress and may be able to alter it. An inch isn't too much. Good Luck. x

JamInMyWellies · 16/11/2009 21:55

Been to a seamstress there is no extra in the fabric so its find another dress, bet your looking forward to that thread Or work my butt off in the gym and go back to my pre children diet of vodka and fags.

Pinkjenny · 17/11/2009 09:21

Er, if anyone is trying to text me, I dropped my phone in the bath last night. Obviously, according to Orange Customer Service, A did it.

AprilMeadow · 17/11/2009 09:44

Whoops!

Moijaimelacountry · 17/11/2009 13:51

Bugger PJ, must be the day for phones! J just whipped a book out from under mine sending it flying across the floor. I can here it working but just a bright white screen. No customer service for me though so no phone here for a while. Regrets giving the kids my old ones to wreck. What am I gonna do with out my moby? Will you get a replacemlent PJ?

Pinkjenny · 17/11/2009 13:56

Yes, getting a replacement sent to me tomorrow at a nominal fee of £60. Dh not impressed. Gah.

Themasterandmargaritas · 17/11/2009 14:43

Oh Jam what a bugger. Have you thought about calling the Jim Hjelm people and asking if they have extra material you can get? I know nothing about sewing by the way, if that is not obvious already.

Oh Pink, I thought you were just ignoring me, I'm so relieved

I like the idea of a bit of hiling Scoot, especially with no kids around

I'm too tired today. Life is catching up with me, still there's sushi to be had tonight so I think I will save the being tired til tomorrow.

Tillyscoutsmum · 17/11/2009 17:01

Jam - nooooooo. What a bugger. I hate the fact these dresses always come up small. The one day you wouldn't mind some vanity sizing...... Could you get a seamstress to change the fastening so its a corset rather than a zip. The panel and ties could be in a contrasting colour perhaps ?

If not, there's a great big red wedding dress sitting here doing nowt than you'd be more than welcome to borrow Saying that - vodka and fags sounds very appealing as well. Body wraps are worth a go (I know that being fat of back - its very difficult to get rid). I think there's only one which is renowned to actually work. Will see if I can dig out the name of it

Scoot - sorry you're feeling crappy

PJ - ouch on phone

TheGreatScootini · 17/11/2009 17:15

Jam-I seem to have missed what the dress is for?And what size do you need?I have got lots of frocks ranging from size 14 to 8 so I might have something you could borrow?

My phone is also on the blink. How spooky.Mine more to do with the fact this its the phone that Noah had on the ark and is about the size of a brick.Time for an upgrade but I was hoping it would last till after Christmas.

I went to work yesterday and had to come home.I went to work today, coughed my way through a meeting, made no valuable contribution and had to come home.I wonder how tomorrow will pan out?

At this rate there will be no hiling and I will be in bed with a Lemsip all weekend.Ha!Except nothing will stop me from seeing New Moon on Friday, nothing I tell you.I am so excited I can hardly sit still except that it hurts my chest to move around much at the moment.

My Mother keeps asking what I want for my birthday.I keep saying Topshop vouchers (Want to buy a lace dress with them and possibly a skirt with little sequins on it).She keeps saying No, you're too old.Gaaaah! Why ask then if you dont like the answer. As an alternative I said there was a throw I liked in the Pedlars catalogue. She said it looked like something she could knit herself.I beg of you!!
(Naturally I will be very grateful for anything but really, why ask?)

Master what is your email for the secret santa?is is secret santa for Mums or for kiddies?Im still using what I got last year, lovely lip balom from Keihls. It is fabbo and only just now running out.

TheGreatScootini · 17/11/2009 17:17

lip balom. Its the new lip balm y'know.

AprilMeadow · 17/11/2009 17:41

JAM is getting MARRIED Scoot!!!!

largeginandtonic · 17/11/2009 19:26

Beau vomiting, twins home ill, Bluebell spiking a temp. Shoot me.

Scoot you must rest a day or it will never shift. Think of New Moon or whatever it is

Jam noooooooooooooo! Bugger. Back to the drawing board. Back fat is so hard to shift. Although i fail to believe there is a bit of back fat on you

I am almost finished the Xmas shopping! Hooray!

4 sleeps till dh is home...

Sorry have lost the plot. Am losing weight though i am sure of it [griin]

Gin What a fecking nightmare

Hope the next 4 days go very quickly. Did you want that wrap thing btw ? Just fb me the address if you do

Jam - think it was Universal Contour Wraps. I lost a good few inches from everywhere when I had a couple a few years ago for a "do"
