Thank you for Ella's birthday wishes both on here and on FB.

I cant believe that 3 years has gone by so quickly! She had a lovely day and got some lovely presents. We bought her a bike & scooter and they went down really well. The scooter is her favourite as she has been wanting one for months.

Went to a local soft play place this morning for her party with 24 other children. Cam back home and then both sides of the family came round for a party tea which was nice.

All three of them went to bed totally knackered which was good

Have managed to write all the thank you notes this evening

I hope you have all been enjoying the sunshine today, it was so nice to be able to go out in a t-shirt.

I have been away i will have you know. Visiting Norfolk. It was fabulous.

Lucy has her first day in nursery tomorrow Was supposed to be packing tomorrow but think i will be blitzing the house instead.

It's such a nightmare. Our school has a gaggle of some 30 kids stuck on a skiing trip in Switzerland, one teacher with malaria!

Is there any recourse April for those supposed to be going on holiday soon? Will they get any refunds? What a nightmare for dh's business too, not to mention the flower industry here which is Kenya's biggest forex earner. They can't get them out into Europe.

What a nightmare re the volcano. It must clear soon? Just a change in the wind direction. If we all blow hard enough the other way i wonder of it will work?

Thank you for the conrats. Am just about over the shock now.

Bad timing as DH will be away from mid August till March. He will get his 2 weeks paternity leave but that's it. So when do i get him home? The others have mostly been late.

Am due Dec 16th. Xmas day probably. Argh.

AM hope Lucy was ok at nursery.

Im keeping my fingers crossed flights resume asap. My sister is supposed to be flying to Mexico on Friday for her 25th wedding anniversary. They never had a honeymoon and this will be the first holiday without children so of course they have been really looking forward to it

Ive been loving this weather, dh and my fil worked all weekend on our garden while the rest of us sat and watched while soaking up the rays lol, perfect I measured the garden the other day so that I could draw up a plan of what i wanted and its just over 70ft long by 24ft wide its huge!!! we bought a 10x6 shed and had been expecting it to take up a bit of room but it looks tiny compared to the rest of the garden. Its great though as we can have all the kids garden toys set up in their own play area, a lovely size lawn and patio area for the adults. May take a few weeks to it to be finished but i cant wait, just hope we have a decent summer.

All going well with the minding, have my graded ofsted inspection next week so fingers crossed for me.

Will probably be crap at keeping up with the birthday that are coming up. Where has 3 years gone!

COME BACK NOW JAM - Yes, I am shouting at you...

My news.... I'm not pg, but after my two dance teaching from stage last Saturday night I was asked to do for 100+ french people I have now been asked to "join the team" next year as a "proper" teacher and take my own class/es.... I'm blimmin chuffed to bits and can't think of any job I'd like better but shitting it. They have hundreds of French people to choose from, why choose the one with a language handicap? + they'd like me to teach the childrens classes to start with, don't they say never work with animals or children? seriously scared.
