Proud to announce that there is now a Mrs Jam, all went without a hitch, she will tell you all more tomorrow.

BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!

largeginandtonic · 30/01/2010 09:09

Congratulations Mrs and Mrs Jam

PebbleJ'sschool sounds like a bloody nightmare! Poor you and J. Good luck with the housing.

MrsJB why do you LOve AM? Apart from obvious devastating good looks and fabulous kind generous nature

Had a mad dash to hospital yesterday avo. We were walking round Waitrose and Blue was temp spiking again. She just got hotetr and hotter and then this awful blotchy rash crept up over her. Her hands and feet were freezing. I panicked BIG time and we abandoned the full trolley and headed for the doc's.

They saw her straight away and said it was not the big M. Her temp was 40.2 so we got sent straight in to hosp. They checked her over and we had to wait ages. I asked to see the consultant eventually.

She has a double ear infection and her tonsils are inflammed and full of puss So we have antibiotics.

Poor baby

Tillyscoutsmum · 30/01/2010 10:10

Poor B . Hope the antibiotics kick in soon.

Double ear infection and....wait for it..... teething seem to be the verdict for Ferg. Ear drum has perforated and he now seems to be on the mend. Had the best night's sleep since birth last night. I feel positively rejuvenated

Moijaimelacountry · 30/01/2010 11:42

lg&t, I hope B gets better soon, poor thing
I love AM eactly for the obvious... oh and that we had a lovely chat & cry on the phone and she made me feel loads better.

JamInMyWellies · 30/01/2010 12:08

Hi all,

Typically the boys are overnighting elsewhere and I am wide awake and cant sleep because of DH's snoring. Oooh I have a DH now.

Just been having a read down. MrsJB am so so so sorry. Devastating news

LG&T hows B poor thing?

Charley glad to hear you had a fab birthday sounds lovely.

Had a fab day yesterday will post more about it later. Mum is NOT happy but am hoping she will get over it and eventually understand why we did it this way. Anyway maybe I should just go back to bed and wake up DH.........

SKYTVADDICT · 30/01/2010 20:34

So glad you had a fab day Jam. The piccies on fb look fantastic. Hope your mum comes round x

LG&T - poor B, hope the antibs kick in soon.

Bless F tils - teething! Hope his antibs kick in soon too.

Had a nice day shopping with DD1 for ski clothes. We have no money whatsoever so I am really pleased we managed to get her mainly kitted out at Matalan. I do feel sorry for her as some of her friends are so fashion/designer orientated it is unbelievable - its tough being 13 but I think she is pleased with what she has. She said thank you at the end of the day anyway so hopefully she is grateful.

Pebblemum · 30/01/2010 22:16

Sky Im glad you got everything. DS1 wants to go skiing with the school in year 10 (thank god we have a bit of time to save lol) but he will just be getting the cheaper version too. Why waste good money on something that they are only likely to wear that one time before they outgrow it plus 9/10 there's not a lot of difference anyway.

LG&T poor B, she is really going through it lately isnt she? I hope the meds work and she is soon back to normal

Tills, Im glad you got a good nights sleep at last, I hope it continues for you and I hope F teething is fairly pain free.

Jam the pics on facebook look lovely. Im sure your Mum will come round in the end, once she sees how happy you are and understands why you did it like that. At the end of the day a wedding should be about what the bride (and I suppose the groom should have a say too lol) wants, not everyone else. I still cant believe you managed to keep it a secret

largeginandtonic · 31/01/2010 09:40

Jammy fb pics are fabulous. You all looked amazing. Hope you woke him

Your Mum will come round.

Sky glad oyu got her kitted out.

Tills bless him! Thank god someone checked him out properly. Poor lad. They do bounce back quick. Blue is fine this morning. Well on the mend

Moijaimelacountry · 31/01/2010 11:22

How's F doing Tils? I'm sorry I missed it the other day when I wished B better.... head not really with it atm.

AprilMeadow · 31/01/2010 19:57

LG&T & Tills - I hope that AB's are doing the trick for Bluebell & Fergus and you are able to get a little bit of sleep..

Jam - wedding pictures are fabulous and you look stunning!!

TMAM - how are the pets?

Tillyscoutsmum · 01/02/2010 10:29

Jam - wedding pics are fantastic. You look stunning

Ferg is definitely happier. Still a bugger through the night though - last night he was awake for feeding/comfort at 11, 12 and 1 and then 4, 5, 6 and 7. He was pretty much constantly latched on from 4-6. My nipples are in bits . At least he's not screaming all day though.

Is B better ??

Sky - glad you managed to get dd kitted out

AM - so glad that L is sleeping through again for you. Clever girl

MrsJb - how're you doing ?

largeginandtonic · 02/02/2010 14:45

B much better Tills. Have had the twins off yest and today with it.

Dd1 off today as she got it last night.

I fear i may never go out again!

School run is my only outing.

Glad Ferg is on the mend hopefully he will become more settled as time goes on. Poor lad must have been suffering.

School run calls. For those that are there!

Gah.

AprilMeadow · 02/02/2010 20:17

Oh no!! It's never ending for you!!!!!

Tills, how is Fergus today?

Took Ella for her Swine Flu Jab this afternoon and she was really brave

Had my hair cut this morning, was a really nice 1hr that i had to myself, although did come back to a stressed out dh as Lucy wouldnt take the ebm from him . Am thinking that i should really get her used to a bottle but not sure i have the time to express every day... Will have to have a big think about it & maybe do it around the time i start weaning... any advice ladies?

Pebblemum · 02/02/2010 23:35

Oh no, poor LG&T Hope everyone is soon better. Glad that B is on the mend now.

How are you MrsJB? Silly question really

April, its nice when we get to have a bit of 'us' time isnt it, shame it doesnt happen more often. I desperately need a new hairdo but havent a clue what I want done.

Have got my housing officer coming round tomorrow to see for himself how cramped we are, a joke really. Im pretty sure he must have some idea, 6 people in a 2bed flat, doesnt take that much imagination surely lol. He is also bringing round a surveyor to look at the damp problem in the view to giving us an emergency move so fingers crossed we will get some positive results tomorrow, will be about bloody time. I heard yesterday of yet another family being given a 3bed house just like that, they have been renting privately but because they could only get housing benefit for a 2bed they have had to find the money for the extra room (there dcs are both under 7 so in theory they can still share a room) Neither work and so they have claimed they cant afford the extra rent which is fair enough i suppose but what has annoyed me is they were offered a brand new 3bed house last year by the council but turned it down on the day they were due to move just because the husband couldnt be arsed. Now they have suddenly decided they want to move and the council find them somewhere within a couple of days yet we are still being messed about. It makes me so mad.
