But, Tigga, it's the two year old that's killing me!

WheeeFreshSparkleBang · 06/11/2009 20:13

Oh Feier that sounds rubbish - hope your poor head is ok! Boff, my night went something like this:

7pm Orbit to bed
8pm DS1 to bed
9pm Orbit wakes up
10pm Orbit wakes up
11pm Orbit wakes up - I go to bed
Midnight Orbit wakes up, feeds, comes into bed with us
1am Orbit wakes up and feeds
2am Orbit wakes up and feeds
5am DP gets up to go to Plymouth, using alarm clock on my side of the bed. Grrrrr. Orbit wakes up.
6am DS1 comes into bedroom, complains that it's not day time yet, gets into bed, moans that Daddy isn't here, insists on sleeping right up next to me and squashing me into Orbit
7am Orbit wakes up. We all get up. Yawn.

Ds1 has had four tantrums today. Major ones. Must go put him to bed before I have a tantrum too. Bah.

WheeeFreshSparkleBang · 06/11/2009 20:33

BTW also very good for eczema is Aveeno Cream, you can get it in Boots. It sorts mine out and Orbit's very quickly.

DS1 is now in bed nursing a feeling of grave injustice because he didn't get one of his normal stories due to intolerable behaviour.

This morning he had a tantrum about the door at toddler group - he wanted to open it, then he didn't want to open it, I wasn't allowed to open it, noone was allowed to touch it, everything was dreadful aaaaaaarrrrrrrggggggggghhhh. And of course people kept turning up to toddler group and opening the sacred door which meant the screaming got worse and worse and worse. Eventually I picked him up bodily and carried him inside, parked Orbit on a friendly mother in the main hall and took DS1 to a side room and put him down on the floor. Then I sat down and completely ignored him until he stopped screaming and kicking.

Painful.

Feierabend · 06/11/2009 20:47

It seems I am developing a black eye

Guimauve · 06/11/2009 21:00
Guimauve · 06/11/2009 21:01

p, dammit.

BoffMonster · 06/11/2009 21:10

WFH, you definitely win.

Feier, bad news about the black eye. Can you sue????

I have fed Felix potato with cottage cheese, rice cakes and a special organic biscuity thing, plus some bread. I am hoping all the trytophans act as a chemical cosh. (You can so tell this is a MN post, can't you).

We had fireworks tonight, with pumpkin soup, catherine wheel sausages and toffee apples afterwards. Jolly nice. Felix wasn't even frightened by the fireworks, just curious.

WheeeFreshSparkleBang · 06/11/2009 22:22

Not sure I win, Boff - perhaps we both lose ?

Fei your poor eye - put a bag of frozen peas on it?

Off to bed. Orbit has only woken once so far, keeping fingers crossed.

dawntigga · 07/11/2009 08:19

Fei! That's what you get for going cage fighting - you've been warned!

WFH hope you and Orbit had a good night!

Boff yes you can definately tell that's an MN post, must admit to doing a bit of trytophan planning around the teething thing in the vain hope it might help! It didn't

Sam only up 3 times last night with teething - this is an improvement and both top teeth are starting to show - very tired, sad hurrah!

bronze · 07/11/2009 12:20

tigga- I'm keeping quiet but not because I'm sailing through but cos I'm far too shattered

I could cope with Izy who isnt quite as easy as he was if it wasn't for Nia who is being a nightmare and ds1 who senco has arranged o see the ed. psych in january. I go to bed the minute Izy sleeps at the moment

Feierabend · 07/11/2009 18:18

Remind you of sore nipples?

dawntigga · 07/11/2009 19:42

Lol Fei, I'm really lucky there as my nipples have never really cracked just got sore.

mrsgBANGing · 07/11/2009 21:36

OMG Edmund is asleep in his cot (This never happens)

Fei that is seriously bad luck - did you have a black eye come up in the end?

Boff - yes very MN. I think Edmund may be getting imam bayildi with quinoa and plain yoghurt stirred in to it for every meal from now on (that's quite MN too really isn't it?)

Bronze you poor thing you have loads on your plate.

WFH my DS1 has been horrendous the last couple of days too (having previously been really very good on the whole). Perhaps there is something in the air?

I have had NO fireworks at all this year (owing to Wed's ambulance drama and general bleurghghg) and will shortly be changing my name back in a sulk.

NuttSlasher · 08/11/2009 00:51

marking

LOL gui - speaking of diprobase betnovate and dactacourt i have that for my hands and feet at the mo it seems i've developed stress related excema which is making me look a tad vile lol nice!

just come back like cinderella i left at 12 from a night out with a friend was fab, i for some bizre reason wanted to call chris but quashed the urge, he was a bit hateful today and has some more "trinkets" within the house seriously there are £3000 worth of post nutty "trinkets" in the lounge alone yet he cannot provide more than £125 per month for the upkeep of his children. and when asked for his car keys so i could put tiahnas car seat into his car i was met with "What do you want them for" and a stern glare i mean seriously if i was going to mess with his car i would have done it by now!!

makes me sick really

anyway enough me me me. sorry am in a dark place right now, probably shouldnt have gone out drinking really but the other option was staying in yet again deperately missing my girls and sobbing my heart out again for another weekend.

i will catch up soon honest xxxx

Guimauve · 08/11/2009 07:12

£125 a month? FFS Words fail me.

BabyBolat · 08/11/2009 07:50

Why is it Sunday already! I want it to be Friday night

Hello every one xxx

dawntigga · 08/11/2009 08:35

Nutts would you like me to send around the boys? They'd prolly do it for free reading that! FFS I suppose he thinks he doesn't have to give you a reasonable amount because he has them at the weekend!!!!!

Shouting Alert

AAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

Rant/swearing alert

If burns my fucking bra when men act like that - you are 50% responsible for your fecking children. Be a bloody grown up.

Nutts you seriously have to raise the bar for your next relationship - shouldn't be hard though looking at what you had!

BTW Robin read that and said 'What a nob he is'

GladIPickedAGrownUpButItTookMeAgesToWorkOutThat'sWhatIWantedTiggaxx

BabyBolat · 08/11/2009 10:23

He only has them every other weekend - pretty much at their bed time anyway so he needs to just get over himself!
Knob cheese. Tigga you wont need to send the boys round I'll be down their ripping his nuggets off if he doesn't start being a man! PATHETIC PATHETIC KNOB of a man! That wouldn't even cover my council tax let alone rent, clothes and food for children!

BoffMonster · 08/11/2009 16:47

Nutty, that's less than you should be getting a week.

I would play very hard ball from now on. Aim for £200 a week. He can bloody get an extra job driving bloody minicabs if necessary.

AuldAlliance · 08/11/2009 18:08

oh, Nutty, he is being such a wanker.

You need to be really, really, tough, even if you are mush inside, and get him to face up to his responsibilities.

will try and post later, hope you all had a good weekend.

WheeeFreshSparkleBang · 08/11/2009 20:00

Hello

Hope everyone is having a good end of weekend?

Nutty, can't believe what an arse C is being. Time for him to grow up and start taking responsibility, fgs. Let me know if you want me to take Orbit round to shriek at him

mrsG hooray for E sleeping in his cot! Hope it isn't just a one off. Sorry to hear your DS1 has been a nightmare lately - have come to the conclusion that this DS1 is not well, he's got a horrid cough and is very tired, which I think accounts for some of the behaviour. The rest of it is anger at me, I think, which he's just got to get over in his own good time. Boo.

So Orbit only woke once on Friday night but about 6 times last night. Those teeth just keep on coming, the next ones are showing now, it's getting completely ridiculous.

Am also feeling guilty (comes from being brought up a Catholic....) at DS1 spending pretty much all day in front of the telly, but he's really not well and when we tried to do something constructive like play a game, he was just hopeless, lay down on the floor and moaned, so I gave up. Fingers crossed a day of doing nothing fixes him and he can go back to nursery tomorrow, can't face another day like this.

WheeeFreshSparkleBang · 08/11/2009 20:04

On the plus side, I had a lie in yesterday, plus DP had the boys while I spent 3 hours having my hair cut and coloured, and this morning Orbit slept in till.....drum roll......8am!

So not all bad

ladyofmuswell · 08/11/2009 20:06

Somehow I managed to buy a house yesterday - all went waaaay faster than I imagined. Very exciting! But have been with in-laws for the weekend hence my disappearance after only just joining you! In laws not as bad as I feared this time. Haven't had a chance to catch up with everything except the fact that everyone's partners / exes seem to be causing strife . I fear it's the other way round with me - have lost patience with everyone for some reason. Hope Monday brings a better week for those of you that have had crappy weekends.

mrsgboring · 08/11/2009 20:18

He's there again! In the cot again! Starting to get ideas above my station now about having an evening....

WFH my DS1 is also ill and it's making him unbearable. I'm firmly of the opinion that telly is totally essential for poorly children and should be actively encouraged. Here's hoping that your DS is better tomorrow and that Orbit's teeth come through.

LadyofMuswell congratulations on the house - are you moving far?

Nutty, do not let THAT MAN grind you down. And get that money you're owed. We are all here as rentamob to back you up.

Right, off to do a bit of gentle tidying - but bet Edmund wakes up just in time to ruin Doc Martin [sad telly addict emoticon]

Feierabend · 08/11/2009 20:24

Quick one because I need to go and google for advice on potty training regression I am wondering if DD1 wetting herself all the time is a reaction to Hazel, 6 months late so to speak, and if it's no coincidence that other toddlers on this thread are playing up too? With Hazel being more active, she's probably intruding into DD1's space more... not sure but could this be a reason? I am so fed up with constantly changing wet pants and doing the washing

DH has just spilt a whole glass of red wine all over the sofa...

Other than that things are well...
