I hope that this will do you all as the last thread ran out.

Let the fun and chocolate eating commence...

A workbook, a big hessian bag, a disposable swim nappy and one of those wetsuit swim nappies, a shark puppet, a DVD and a yellow plastic wallety thing (not sure what to do with that...)

O is still asleep. He went down for his nap at 8.30am and is still soundo... why can't he have this morning nap in the early hours of the morning instead of chatting away in his cot at 4am?!

Guimauve · 05/10/2009 10:32

I want a shark puppet! I'm glad H isn't the only one that has a nap so soon after getting up! Although he's been awake for a while, and will probably have another nap any time soon.

On the BLW forum there is a recipe for sugar-free banana bread. Now that really is a health food!

kazkiss · 05/10/2009 10:58

i am bored, feel poopy and am fed up. I dont often feel like this but i dont feel good and the weather is nasty and i cant be bothered to be mummy today lol. i feel very guilty cos i put izzie in jumperoo and after half an hour wondered why it was quiet then realised she had fell asleep!

i was feeding ollie at the same time so thas my excuse.

I dont like winter!!!! and the thougt of going back to work in a couple of weeks is now starting to depress me greatly. At least though i have worked out that for the next 7 months the babies only go to nursery for 2 days a month then after then it is only 4 days a month. so at least i havnt got to struggle to get them to nursery in the mornign very often.

oooh i ammm soooooo bored.

BabyBolat · 05/10/2009 11:00

Morning all

Fei, I agree with everyone else, go to the GP, if you are not happy get down to the hospital and demand to see your consultant from last time.

Auld, I have no recommendations, I am too weak / lazy / currently content to try cc - but then DH sleeps through anything so he isn't affected in the slightest with K being in our bed.

Frekkles - I don't know anything about that but try not to worry hopefully he will start getting back on track soon - what has the HV said? - hope all is ok x

DO NOT SPEAK TO ME ABOUT POO's

K has been sans poo for three days so was quite pleased when he had a release this morning until I took the nappy away, and he poo'd mid swap all over his clothes and the duvet (which would be fine if it was still lovely bf poo's!) and then proceeded to fill a second nappy!!!

The little bugger has also already pulled the fire guard down on himself! That boy is TROUBLE!

Weaning took a step back during the whole hospital / sickness debacle but yesterday seems to have got K back on track, porridge and a bit on my marmite on toast for bfast. rusks for lunch, a whole kiwi mid-afternoon and some carrot and potato sticks for dinner.

I am currently in the house with the curtains closed - still feels like six am not 11!!

My halloween name will be babyBOOlat x

Righ toff to take my son away from my mums cabinets.... is it wrong to put them on reins inside????

JumeirahJane · 05/10/2009 11:01

Gui - bah to 3 meals a day. A late breakfast/brunch (toast, yogurt, fruit batons) and an early evening dinner with DH is what mine is getting, and on the plus side, with a full tank, and all the new brain stimulation from it all, she's sleeping longer (in the day, not at night, let's not get too excited), hope it's the same for everyone? Gives me time for a peaceful lunch

Feier, this is getting too much now isn't it? With private health insurance, surely they can they help you find a specialist and/or speed things up? What's the point of having it if you can't use it to your advantage. I wish I had more constructive advice. Gui sounds like a switched-on lady though. Hope it all clears up pronto.

Auld, the cc sounds horrible , I don't know if I could bear putting myself and him through that again? In the short-term I think I'd just chicken out and deal with the lack of sleep.

Hello again to everyone I've not met yet. Girlylala, yes, hectic and then some

M is wailing like a cat, I think she's stuck again. Seeya.

Guimauve · 05/10/2009 11:04

POO BabyBolat, POO!

Guimauve · 05/10/2009 11:05

BB, do you ever hear from Kitty?

BabyBolat · 05/10/2009 11:09

No - I haven't heard from her since her DD was born, we texted a few times and emailed her but nothing back so I didn't want to push it in case something bad has happened.

JumeirahScarer · 05/10/2009 11:09

Boo! Or is that Poo?

Glad things are better for you, BB.

Guimauve · 05/10/2009 11:24

Yes, that is what I keep thinking and for some reason playing on my mind at the mo'. Have we heard from Carameli post-natally? Who else is AWOL? We may have to get a Batman-style Fanjo signal to shine into the sky!

dawntigga · 05/10/2009 11:45

Waves to all.

NoTimeToCatchUpPlanningChristmasTiggaxx

AuldAlliance · 05/10/2009 11:49

Planning Christmas????

I have been working hard all morning. As Gui knows, as she has been keeping a beady eye on me.

I do wonder about gingersarah, she was struggling with V sometimes, do hope she is OK.

A fanjo signal sounds very obscene. That'd get the radars and satellites buzzing.

bebemoo · 05/10/2009 12:10

I just had a flash back from last year...
feeling sick in dreary weather...

AuldAlliance · 05/10/2009 12:40

I often wonder about Barbarella too, with her 3 babies.

bebe, is there some news you'd like to share???

God, I really am not getting on with this blimming Rabelais, am I?

bebemoo · 05/10/2009 12:45

Yes I'm dreadfully sick. Curled up in front of the tv with the computer and three layers of clothes and a blanket... Oh there's nothing to eat, but I'm fat so that's probably for the best.

bebemoo · 05/10/2009 12:46

Moo is sleeping in my bed...

Bicnod · 05/10/2009 12:51

Awwwwwwwwww poor bebe sending hugs and chocolate cake. any success in finding a mobile replacement?

Auld - DO YOUR WORK NOW (practicing for when O is refusing to do his homework)

Tigga -

BB - like your new name... I'm considering BEWITCHEDnod - when do we get to put our new costumes on?

Gui - off to check out sugar free banana bread recipe... mmmmmmmmmmm. Shark puppet is cool.

bebemoo · 05/10/2009 13:01

No luck on mobile tune replacement. The mobiles at M&P's were lovely, but none of them play the tune. But she did respond well to a few of them. The ladies there suggested calling parts department also. We may get one for an early x-mas gift.

Guimauve · 05/10/2009 13:43

Loving BEWITCHEDnod!

I wonder about Barbarella too, but I don't imagine she has any time at all to do anything! Although Kaz is on here fairly often, despite her two....

Lunch today was more pitta bread - some with apple/ mascarpone mixture on, which was sucked off fairly enthusiastically, with a small amount of gagging, and some with hummus and mozzarella in it, brushed with oil and griddled - this was gummed with gusto, though I don't imagine he got to any of the filling! When I was cleaning him up, I did find a large lump of pitta stashed in the roof of his mouth. I removed it, despite the fact that he was presumably saving it for snacking on later

AuldAlliance · 05/10/2009 13:48

I have notched up over 120 posts, and mobilised a whole international team, on a thread about spag bol.

But I have also finished preparing my Rabelais stuff, Bicnod, as I was so scared of your shouty mummy act.

Oh, bebe, look after yourself. And enjoy Moo sleeping in your bed, it won't last forever!

bebemoo · 05/10/2009 14:00

lol Gui stashing food for later.

(i've been avoiding pita and other flat breads for fear of choking... but you give me courage.)

bebemoo · 05/10/2009 14:11

bebe just managed to pull the laptop off the couch when she tripped on the cord, which made the laptop crash into the hot cocoa shattering the mug and spilling hot liquid all over the floor and onto the book she was reading all so she could rescue her baby who had done a face plant from a sitting position (thankfully only from her playmat to the hardwood floor)

bebemoo · 05/10/2009 14:13

oh and the cocoa is on the wool cushion that also fell when she got up

sigh

Guimauve · 05/10/2009 14:31

Very much enjoying your bol thread Auld. And macarons also! I desperately want to try some. There is a Laduree in Harrods, I think. No Pierre Herme though - I would love an ispahan macaron. Am sorely tempted to try them at home, but to get them right I think I should have tied the real thing first.

AuldAlliance · 05/10/2009 14:52

Your contribution has been essential, Gui. I need people to bump the threads so BonsoirAnna sees them.
I suspect she is lurking, to see how many people will post on the thread before she pops out.

What is ispahan?
