right, off to have a look at the inverness one!

miamla · 17/09/2009 20:35

oops i love it!!! exactly what i want in mine! what worktop are you having? this would be my choice

oopsacoconut · 17/09/2009 20:42

Miamla - we are having a granite composite worktop as it needs to be scrubbable for elf and safety and food hygiene purposes (for cake making) BUT that is the worktop we had in our last kitchen which was high gloss vanilla.

shall we be kitchen sisters?

miamla · 17/09/2009 20:44

i'm off to measure mine to see how much it would work out at

TwilightSurfer · 17/09/2009 20:46

albs did you notice the PINK in my girls' room. the walls one shade and the curtains/bedspread another. it's nightmarish for me but dd1 loves it. i'm hoping when reese is old enough she'll complain so i can change it.

i was wondering about that 3rd boob thing. between that and hotter's boob size posted on fb, i'm feeling very inadequate.

was reminded of the other work ahead of me....baseboard painting. i need to go over all baseboards in a fresh color of white. the white i'm considering is called (drum role please) cake batter. anybody see a pattern (waffle....cake batter)?

miamla · 17/09/2009 20:49

i'm back, can't find a tape measure!

you're making me feel hungry TS!
as for feeling inadequate... you obviously didn't pay any attention to my norks when you saw me! they're bigger than they used to be but still nothing to shout about!

TwilightSurfer · 17/09/2009 20:53

tape measure! thanks miamla that's what i went to look for about 2 hours ago.

miamla · 17/09/2009 20:59

lol! only happy to help! you're not going to measure your boobs are you?!

alittlebitshy · 17/09/2009 21:04

btw miamal yes H went to sleep!! I didn;t have to go up!!!! yay oh yay. Go me!!!

Mil been on the phone in her room. heard various moans about us (as i earwigged walked by). I had a mini losing is sesh today. Dh was telling he she needed to have a bath. She was saying he was bullying her. she said "your brother (A) never bullies me". At which I leapt in the room and said "yes but A has never offered to have you to stay has he?" {shock}. true but whoops. not that she will remember it or hear anything in it, so self absorbed is she!

oopsacoconut · 17/09/2009 21:06

Okay ladies - here is a dilemma..............

My period is oficially late DH came in earlier and asked if it had arrived. I hadn't checked my dates and went to peep at my monitor and it is flashing a great big 'm' for period at me. Dh then put the could you question in my head, the 'am I' question. I am not daring to even think of it. aaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh WHY O WHY is my normally regular cycle being so elusive!

alittlebitshy · 17/09/2009 21:10

OH!!!!! oooooh! eeek!!!!!!!
How late????

Test??????

oooooooh

alittlebitshy · 17/09/2009 21:12

on that note I am off to bed so await the news tomorrow. night all
xx

oopsacoconut · 17/09/2009 21:13

ALBS that was the response I was expecting but not really sure about IYSWIM. I think it is too early in our journey for another LO to be getting my hopes up for them to be thumped on the head by a stupidly erratic cycle. Was due on Monday.

OP posts:
miamla · 17/09/2009 21:15

night albs!

oooh oops! that's exciting...no? that you might be? but if you're going with the head in the sand option, worry not, just let us know if/when you need hand holding to do a test

RedLentil · 17/09/2009 21:18

M for period.
I thought we were doing phonics here ...

Oops, Take your time and test when you are ready. We'll all be here, peering over your shoulder

I know a few people who got pregnant fairly easily once they had had a baby using fertility treatment iyswim.

I hope it works out that way for you too.

oopsacoconut · 17/09/2009 21:18

Miamla - the reason mentioning it is that it is often the thing that make my period arrive! but head in the sand is and has alway been the safest option where my body is concerned! If nothing by monday I will test as DH is now going to be all pestery. I love the fact he is all intouch with my body but ocassional I wish he wasn't!

OP posts:
oopsacoconut · 17/09/2009 21:19

Red - m for the medical word I can't spell!

Off to bed having tempted my period out of hiding. Will confirm her arrival tomorrow morning or spend the weekend wondering whether to pee on a stick or not.

hotterpotter · 17/09/2009 21:22

Oops do you have any tests lying around at the back of the bathroom cabinet you could have a quick wee on? If not you will have to nip to the shops tomorrow, no point getting excited/worried until you know (I know that's impossible btw)

TS no need to be feeling . I may have larger norks than you but I also have the big tummy, bum and hips to go with them

ALBS your MIL sounds like a cow . Hope you get a good nights sleep to make you feel better
