Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Buckets your week sounds lovely I have tidying, tidying and work to look forward to . No actually we are visiting friends tomorrow morning, I am hopefully booking my driving test after my lesson tomorrow , then although I do have work I only have to do 3 more days before I break up for two weeks, yipppppeeeeeeeeee

Think I will put all the spring/summer clothes I never got round to putting on ebay up in the loft incase I get pregnant again and try again at selling in the spring. All the crap lying around is getting me a bit down - it's impossible to keep the house looking nice and I am fed up of it

OI DIZZY

dizzydixies · 21/09/2009 13:33

hots, I have given up on the house - now back at work and wanting to spend quality time with the kids gives me the grounds to ignore it all

does it really not count as research? its a local supplier or chutney and the bagels have onion in them which is a veg

sorry VG, should keep you aware of my travel plans more often!!!!

StrictlySazz · 21/09/2009 13:48

We are watching you dizzy and will let this piece of 'research' go by as long as we see you in the corner later munching lettuce

I too am battling with the house - where the F*%k does it all come from? Admittedly we have no loft so no place to hidy it to, but honestly!!! I had a massive clear out in March and have to do the same thing now. Fingers x'd all the bulky items on ebay will sell (travel system, 4 chairs, Bumbo, baby walker, wooden play table) and then i might have a chance of seeing the floor . I am a much calmer happier person when not surrounded by clutter. DH on the other hand seems to thrive on hoarding . Oh, and he has broken the trailer so the monthly trips to the tip will be curtailed for a while

Cyteen your weekend sounds lovely and it is so nice to just 'let go' now and then. Being twirled round by a professional must have felt amazing

oops great news on the scan date. We will be keeping everything crossed for you that tadpole is blooming nicely

LOTI for you and DH being poles apart at the mo. Is he under extra stress atm or some other reason, or do you think he is detactching from you in some deliberate way . Hopefully it is a phase of being incredibly childish and he will return to a supportive husband and father you deserve

dizzydixies · 21/09/2009 13:53

[meep] Sazz shall behave I promise. no loft here either, its a right pain isn't it.

Cyteen, also very envious of your weekend and Oops - are we all allowed to the scan?!?

CC have we any photos of the christening on FB when you get a moment please?!?

TS hope the school run causes no upset/anxiety for either you or DD1

ladies you should have seen the little diva, dressed to the nines, sitting at the door, looking out, saying "where is she?" dd1, firstly, required her red christmas dress today. no reason just wanted to wear it. the other carpool mom did arrive but only 5 minutes behind schedule. that's a good sign.

lucky keep your chin up and thinking cap on. the best women in the world are resourceful. you have the power to make anything happen. remember that!

oops lovely news about the dating scan. i was clearly able to see reese at 5w3d.

chatted with dh last night about babies. asked if i'd made a mistake not trying to have more. without even the slighest bit of hestitation he said, "no i'd made no mistake. two girls was plenty. even if i'd wanted more today i would have probably changed my mind tomorrow. i'd never be given the option to select their disposition." he then went on to remind me how difficult one child is and that i've not gotten to the point where i can vividly see the second childs disposition. how on earth would i manage if there were a third that was over the top wild and crazy. he went to say, "it's time to move on. find something else to worry about." lol! guess it's all true but thought it important to have a meeting of the minds about it for clarity.

dizzydixies · 21/09/2009 13:59

good grief on the snip announcement, did he get more warning than we did?!?!?

dizzydixies · 21/09/2009 14:00

not that I'm implying that we needed consulted

good grief, am embarassing myself here sorry Mr Sazz - best of luck and soothing arnica laced thoughts for tomorrow

TwilightSurfer · 21/09/2009 14:01

Sazzles tell him to be mindful of the first shot....and not KICK the Doc. DH still thinks that's too funny.

TwilightSurfer · 21/09/2009 14:02

Dizzy, don't worry. Mr.Sazzles consulted with Mr.Twilight while on vaca. He's good!

dizzydixies · 21/09/2009 14:03

lol should have known you've have it all tied up (so to speak )

alittlebitshy · 21/09/2009 14:03

lol dizz am chortling at that! poor mr sazzles. does he know he's got that tomoz?

TwilightSurfer · 21/09/2009 14:05

running off to shower. guess i could just stand outside with a bar of soap. GOODNESS THE RAIN!! anyway, i should take advantage of reese sleeping and dd1 at school plus i stink.

be back later

StrictlySazz · 21/09/2009 14:06

LOL he's more worried about having to shave his bits

Soz, TMI

dizzydixies · 21/09/2009 14:07

good grief am sitting watching Strictly from Sat night (haven't had a chance) and just about fallen over at what Ola was not wearing - now I'm certainly NO prude but DD1 and DD2 love this show and how am I meant to let them watch the pretty dresses when the dress consists of a fecking peice of string, a hankie and a piece of plaster covering her arse?!?!?!?!?!

rant over, as you were ladies

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 21/09/2009 14:10

dizzy that is the very smae outfit I wore on saturday night.

StrictlySazz · 21/09/2009 14:21

No wonder your DH had a good time

StrictlySazz · 21/09/2009 14:24

This was my comment on the Strictly thread on Sat:

DH's view of Ola's dress: 'She's wearing a couple of seethrough muzzy's and a bungy'

TwilightSurfer · 21/09/2009 14:50

they'd never let clothing like that appear on tv over here.

LoveBuckets · 21/09/2009 15:47

Was that the one that looked like net curtain scraps stuck on a leotard? And the back dangly bit looked like it had come adrift? I was waiting for someone to staple it back up throughout the show but finally had to accept that maybe it was meant to be like that.

TS Bet I smell worse than you, think I last had a bath Saturday night but it could have been Friday. Just haven't managed to squeeze in another wash so have decided to go all naturalistic and proud about body odour until tonight.

TwilightSurfer · 21/09/2009 16:22

LOL! Buckets so does that mean you are MNing and doing laundry NAKED or just stinky? Stinky I can handle but NAKED well then that's just TMI!!!

The hardwoods have been mopped. Reese was less than happy to be inprisoned in her room during the process. Oddly though she is back there playing now with a fuss. I'm surprised they dried with the humidity level outside what it is. I swear we will need the arc soon.
