miamla · 20/09/2009 21:13

christmas meet up girls
looks like we need to say 'yay' or 'nay' quite soon
i'm well up for it, anyone else going to join me? otherwise it'll be me and a pub full of hairy truckers!!!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 20/09/2009 21:13

I am now waffling talking randomly.

Sambo* sorry to hear that dp has said no more dcs, due to tiredness. I am sure it is just in the heat of the moment comment.

Me and dh were saying last night that it is a different kind of tired with dcs.
I have been exhausted before with work etc... but not like this.
The day out sounded great btw. I love all the spiriual healing, I have afriend that has a shop and she and her father regularly attend 'open circle' and are both mediums. She also does healing. She is a lovely lovely person.

Told me lots of interesting and amzing stories. Time of when she went to see a Shamen and stories of Astral travel Amazing stuff.

alittlebitshy · 20/09/2009 21:15

i'm up for it assuming dh has nothing workwise in the diary.... I too could put ppl up.....

i went to the one in 2006 but knew noone (met quootiepie who was on this thread as someone else) so would be cool to go as a gang. would we have to mingle with the rest of mn lol?

miamla · 20/09/2009 21:15

no1 i've had exactly the same moments with my DS! i asked him for a cuddle earlier, he walked over, gave me one and then went back to what he was doing. And he's been headbanging to genesis this afternoon

albs oh no! do i need to come round and confiscate all of the scissors?!!

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 20/09/2009 21:18

albs I know what you mean. Although he wasn't hammered. He was very very happy/merry. He wanted to help with bath time bedtime. thats a shocker.
but he was just a little too wobbly and LOUD for my liking and the whole thing was just turning into a game.(dcs obviously loved it,him playing and being daft) but it doesn't help me when it is wind down time, as I am the one who has to deal with it, and they were already exhausted.

hey miamla how is the knee??
Don't think I will make the London do.
I should though let dh have dcs on his own.

no1putsbabyinthecorner · 20/09/2009 21:20

aww miamla that is too cute.
When we came back from stables, dh was listening to QUO. Yes they are one of his favourites because he says the are down to earth.
Ds absolutley loved it and was going crackers dancing to it. Which of course dh loved to see.

sequinedsteaknife · 20/09/2009 21:27

DD is too cute at the moment too. She has discovered flumping around. So if we are on my mattress or on the sofa she just flumps and rolls around all over the place and nuzzles head down into me.
love it love it love it - love her. [soppy]

sequinedsteaknife · 20/09/2009 21:28

could be up for London meet up - can't leave you all alone with those hairy truckers miamla just got to fix it with mum for babysitting.

LoveBuckets · 20/09/2009 21:30

No1 What a tosser, does he always ruin the mood after a good night? Must be so annoying when you think you've just made/rediscovered a connection.

Yay yay yay to Xmas Meetup and yes please to camping chez Miamla (unless we want to play Chalet School Gels at the YHA.)

Feeling v chuffed with myself , we were playing ukes and I have just blown DH away by coming up with 2 different harmonies for his latest song. 'So for someone with no musical training whatsoever, how in blue hell did you learn how to do that???' he says. He is now holed up in the mancave recording another version to add my harmonies. I am working my way through the v tasty merlot winebox my folks brought me back from France yesterday. Bets now on for how long I take to empty it, it's only a 3Litre.

alittlebitshy · 20/09/2009 21:35

right am off to bed (bets on for a v loud snoring dh).

ds been up once - all snotty but managed to feed, whereas last night he couldn't breathe enough to do so.

night all. thanks for cheering me up and not looking at me like i'm a nutter {no comments please miamla)
xx

LoveBuckets · 20/09/2009 21:36

Just PMSL at vision of Chalet School girls wondering around lost in Kings Cross .

miamla · 20/09/2009 21:39

buckets i'm easily impressed by anyone with even a slight hint of musical talent so i'll just sit here quietly stalking you

albs absolutely not commenting about anything
glad you got DS settled quickly. kick the snoring drunk one out of bed if he's bothering you. i'm sure mil wouldn't mind him sharing with her for a night!

miamla · 20/09/2009 21:41

steaky it'd be cool if you could make it

StrictlySazz · 20/09/2009 21:43

miamla · 20/09/2009 21:46

LoveBuckets · 20/09/2009 21:50

Yay, and I will lead a singalong (Brownies style) on the tube LOL.

sequinedsteaknife · 20/09/2009 21:51

StrictlySazz · 20/09/2009 21:52

Ging gang goolie goolie, wotcha, ging gang goo [out of tune]

Miamla - poppy as a possible?

LoveBuckets · 20/09/2009 21:54

Kukkaburra sits in the old gum tree-eee...

StrictlySazz · 20/09/2009 21:54

wotcha - i'm not here really

Sorry to hear of drunken DH's - mine has been impeccably well behaved and helpful today, hence i am not here

miamla · 20/09/2009 21:54

oooh i can still remember some brownie songs so if you start them, i'll massacre -them-- follow

sazz you asked about netball...erm no. not a player. never have been, never will! i was in pretty much every other team at school and because of that the teachers always put me down for the netball team every year and then got upset when i didn't turn up for practice! i felt really sorry for the girls who went to the try outs who really wanted to be on the team but didnt because they weren't deemed 'sporty' enough

miamla · 20/09/2009 21:55

ging gang gooooooooo [also out of tune]

sequinedsteaknife · 20/09/2009 21:56

...merry merry king of the jungle he-ee...
