Actually douds I have now taken my tel no off because that was a rather silly thing to do, so best if you CAT me.

largeginandtonic · 05/09/2009 21:01

Muppet TMAM!!!! Bed early for you

Tills that is horribly sad about your mother. You are doing a fabulous job juggling all these emotions. It must be so hard.

AM is off OUT tonight ya know. She has a new top on a heels... i could barely pull a pair of pyjamas on at 37 weeks. The woman is formidable.

What's the betting she goesin tolabour and her waters break all over new shoes in 20 minutes

Now who watched the X factor? Lloyd was delicious but 16!!!! That is wrong right?

Bugger.

The couple who had broken up just 3 days before where hysterical. I do like some light entertainment of a Saturday evening, now that my nights out with Gin in hand and Jesters are behind me.

DD and i bond over X Factor, we both love it.

An advert came on, the Clearblue pregnancy test one.

DD- "How do women get pregnant, by doing the 'thing'", she said, as she finished her own sentence.

Me - "If she meant sex, then yes" i said.

DD - "how do women know when to wee on the stick?"

Me - "Because women bleed every month, for a few days. If you don't bleed you test. That's why we wear the pads etc.."

She seemed satisfied with the answers but i was shaking. I thought she was going to start asking when she would bleed

Luckily she started asking which girl band she would be most suited to appear in when she is older

My sigh was audible, probably from upstairs.

I could not have lied to her. The time is coming

Do you know anybody who has adopted? Or used a surrogate with donor eggs etc? I wonder if when the time comes mentioning other people that have found different routes to parenthood will reassure her that it's not just her and it's not just Turner's. I know you're dreading this bit in particular. Remember, she knows no different. This is the way things are for her now and it tells nothing about how things will be in the future iyswim. I'm so sorry that she has to go through this at all. She's a wonderful girl, just like her Mum.

Watched X-Factor too. There are some unwell people auditioning. Uncomfortable viewing. Nobody brill tonight. 16 year olds don't look 16 anymore do they?

AM's a blardy marvel.

Tills.

Tillyscoutsmum · 05/09/2009 21:36

LG&T - You are an amazing lady and a fantastic mother - I'm sure when the time comes you will handle it perfectly. Life is so unfair sometimes

Another X Factor watcher here. I really liked the welsh girl who did I will always love you and the young girl who did the Jennifer Hudson song. I agree about it being uncomfortable when there are clearly unwell people on there. I do have a massive girl crush on Cheryl though. She is gorgeous

Hope AM has a great time. I have an 80's fancy dress party to go to when I'm 37 weeks pg . Mr Blobby was 90's wasn't he ??

Tils off to play school next week. Aaarrrrrrgggghhhhh

largeginandtonic · 05/09/2009 21:36

I do. In fact her best friend is adpoted She adopted a girl and a boy. I see her a lot and dd goes to stay with her sometimes, sleepovers and the like.

I would like to ask her to talk to dd but don't want to upset her. She may be raw about it herself. She knows dd has Turner Syndrome and what it entails.

I know she adopted because her and her dh couldn't get pregnant.

It is such a tough subject, so easy to upset people.

Thanks for being here

You too Tills DD will LOVE playschool, fear not. Dsd will have told her it is fab.

Cheryl Cole. She's so skinny. You'd worry about snapping her. Never had a girl crush. I'm so vanilla. Apart from Gin obviously who is hot.

largeginandtonic · 05/09/2009 21:44

Hot. Oh yes, that is me. Hot, hot, hot.

I saw a clip with Cheryl getting out the car, i thought she looked like a boy. No curves. Her head resembles a lollipop. Not for me.

largeginandtonic · 05/09/2009 21:45

Now this is a woman.

OP posts:
ShowOfHands · 05/09/2009 21:52

If there were absolutely no men left and the books had all gone in the same terrible freak storm that's pinched all the lovely men. She's stunning. And intelligent. Not a patch on Gin though obv.

Problem with women is that they don't look like this. He's an angel you know. A very hot angel.

largeginandtonic · 05/09/2009 21:57

OHMIFECKINGGOD that man is probably the most beautiful specimen i have ever come across (apart frommy dh of course)

The woman was ok, i just prefer blondes (or purple )

OP posts:
Tillyscoutsmum · 05/09/2009 22:09

I agree Cheryl is way too skinny. I just think she seems really lovely - her face when that couple got back together She's clearly a bit of a romantic fool..... and I love the geordie accent

Right - am off to bed. Tils was awake at 5.05 am this morning and little Rudolph had been kicking the hell out of me all night so I didn't get much sleep last night

Night all x

ShowOfHands · 05/09/2009 22:15

Beautiful man. Just, oh there are no words to describe him. Well, there are a few words, but they ain't clean.

I don't think anybody has ever had a crush on me, purple hair or no. DH was 17 and drunk for the first year of our relationship and probably thought he was dating somebody else. Will have very, very red hair in a day's time. I've done purple.

Night Tills.

Right, am writing. There's flying. Oh but there's flying.

largeginandtonic · 05/09/2009 22:16

Night Tills Like the name Rudolph, good December name! I am mad though, you know that.

I'm back No labour for me tonight

Although...... dh did have 2 pints and i think my mum said she was going to have a g&t this evening....

Managed 2.5hrs of watching people getting pissed which i always find amusing. Shoes were very comfy despite being quite a high heel - I did sit for most of the time though.

Tilly, one of my best toddler years friends was called Rudi

I want Cheryl's patterned dress!

Xfactor was recorded so will watch in the morning - whilst bouncing on my ball and hoping that baby turns from back to back into a better position.

night all xx

charleymouse · 05/09/2009 23:47

night night AM
night night everybody

Tillyscoutsmum · 06/09/2009 11:08

AM - Its not going to be long now.... I feel it in my waters

Rudi is now on my list but DH is not convinced. It started as a bit of a joke (let's think of christmas boy's names to call the bump) but now I refer to him as Rudi, its starting to stick a bit.

I'm fighting a bit of an internal battle - I love more unusual names but I am concerned about ds not fitting in and potentially being teased. We live in a semi rural, pretty insular village with working class roots and its full of lots of lovely, but very mainstream names (lots of little Jacks, Olivers, James' and Charlies) so I'm a bit worried about veering too far away from the "norm" or picking something too posh/poncey. Even Matilda has raised a few eyebrows

Have a lovely day everyone. DH has taken Tils out on the bike and I'm supposed to be using the time to do housework . Best get on

MmeJaffaB · 06/09/2009 11:20

Morning, or is it lunch time?

Lg&t, another mountain to hit the top with DD, you'll get there and plant your flag I'm sure, and she will surprise you yet again with how easily she flew up it.

I was slightly scared dancing last night, it was a footy club doo! Drunken lads who think they are cowboys on a dance floor. I need say no more do I?

AM it's the 6th, come on girl!!

Going to make a toastie......

MmeJaffaB · 06/09/2009 11:35

Oh Tils I forgot to say, the friends we've had staying in the camper, had the most adorable boy, 11mths called Rudi... I love it, and think it goes perfectly with Mathilda! Raised eyebrows are fine, don't take any notice they all just wish they had the balls to go off the "norm"

AprilMeadow · 06/09/2009 12:29

haha dont hold your breath MrsJB!!

MmeJaffaB · 06/09/2009 12:34

Went to look at your pond photo's AM it won't let me on your profile!!

AprilMeadow · 06/09/2009 19:20

Glad you FINALLY managed to get on to my profile MrsJB

Had a nothingness type day today and still fell crappy. Most exciting thing was putting away the clothes!
Have felt tired, achy (from the walk), nauseous and TIRED all day and even a nap on the sofa did nothing to shift it. Once kids are in bed i will be having a nice soak in my clary sage bath whilst reading my book followed by a nice early night.

What has everyone else been up to this weekend?
