I am sure they'll think your house is like a show home compared to their pit so I wouldn't worry CSWS!

BB - I think continuing to offer milk is supposed to be the best thing. Poor Ryan. I was thinking just today that ds never had a tummy upset as a baby and has only been sick a handful of times in his life thus far. Luckily he finds it hilarious when he's sick. I have odd children.

Honeymoonmummy · 18/09/2009 23:36

Ha ha MM re M trying to get back down the stairs and the "wool" effect [HMM goes off to ask DH if he's allergic to any fabric] Honestly, my sex drive is so non-existent since I started these AD's, the poor guy has given up asking!!

Anyway, I'm off to bed as he should be asleep by now

Honeymoonmummy · 18/09/2009 23:37

Sorry BB, cross posts, but I'm not the right person to ask. NHS helpline? I hope he feels better soon x

BertieBotts · 18/09/2009 23:40

He seems ok. Advice is just to offer milk. I will phone OOH GP if he seems dehydrated at all - I have found some other things to look for now.

Going to bed now hopefully for some sleep

It's ok myjob - the comment was aimed at someone specific . We distracted them with food anyway.

We want photos of the trousers please you clever thing.

How is Ryan now BB? They usually advise continuing to feed rather than avoiding solids these days, but stick to the BRAT diet - Bananas, Rice, Apples and Toast.

Myjob - they're really sweet! I like the two tone look. You clever thing. Very practical over cloth nappies too. I'm always struggling to pull S's trousers/jeans over his big bum when he's got a cloth nappy on. I went to a craft fair the other week where they'd have charged a fortune for a pair of those.

BB - How is Ryan today? It's so horrible and actually a bit scary when they projectile vomit isn't it.

My DP hates cotton wool too.

We do indeed have the foot family here . Dc all in bed now, and we're hoping that the older ones have gone to sleep after a couple of false starts.

Hi all! Just a quick post as I am watching Strictly and also need to start mounting my Nursery children's self portraits for display. Sooooo cute

J's Nursery issues aren't resolved yet, they actually got a bit worse, but after a meeting with the Nursery Manager yesterday I feel more in control and more positive. It's been a bloody awful week, I couldn't eat on Thurs which never happens to me. I spent most of the day at work hiding in corners of the classroom snivelling. Luckily my colleagues were very supportive and kept me going. Another positive in all this shite is that dh and I seem to have become a formidable team which given the last 10 months of rows is great. It's def a case of "nobody puts our baby in a corner" Fingers crossed for next week [hopeful emoticon] Things can only get better.

50ft- Sorry to hear about M's accident. Glad she is ok though.

BB- Hope Ryan is better?

CWSW- I keep chucking our junk in the loft as one day I will do a car boot. I swear it's all going to come through the ceiling one day.

Aubergenie- Thought of you today as we went to the Horniman museum. It was really nice. The aquariam has been done up and lots of the tanks are practically to the floor so good for the dc's to stand against. J also like the music room where he could bang things. He was also very taken with stroking a stuffed fox and pulling it's tail in the natural history section There's really easy access for pushchairs, loads of highchairs in the cafe and good clean baby changes

aubergenie · 20/09/2009 08:23

Rachie - Thanks for the Horniman info. I've got quite a few south east London friends with children and it sounds like a good place to get together.

Your nursery business doesn't sound good - it's so difficult to concentrate on work when you're feeling so anxious. What's been going on?

Happy anniversary Myjob!

I'm going to try and cook a whole chicken in the slow cooker today. Off to find some threads about it...
