I am soo confused with this ovulation stuff, I am not reading anymore

meant to say happy b'day to loulou 's J. Cant believe how quickly that has gone!!!

ronshar sorry only afew pics are from holiday as all my phone uploads when on there from the last few months. I am going to upload holiday pics though.

HM caravan was actually ok, off course it was not at all like the one in the brochure but it was fine, it had everything we needed but was bloody cold at night and P's hands were like ice and she is usually the hot one! We had the fire and gas rings on in the morning to warm it the caravan up! Fab time though and DD1 loved it. Was a good break. Missed my dishwasher though

myjob what will you be doing for your birthday?

pepper pmsl at broken bead, bless him!

DD1 was funny on holiday, she called the peacocks 'zoococks' and the wallabys 'lollabys' DH was also teaching her to say 'bag of nails' to any old car they saw but that backfired and she shouted to him in the park 'daddy, your a bag of nails' hehe!!!

Sorry I know I have missed loads. Cant remember who else had a birthday, was it belgos little one? My head is muzzled what with reading about periods and contraception and ovulation! I am never having sex again!

jenwa · 12/09/2009 08:26

Oh and regarding b'days I was thinking of getting P the trike with cart on back from ELC and I know someone else mentioned this and also her own dolly. Not really sure. DD1 is 4 on the 8th and dd2 1 on the 26th so an expensive month! DD1 was a balloon so thats cheap

50ftQueenie · 12/09/2009 10:16

Jenwa - I have been looking at your photos too. You and your girls are just so gorgeous.

50ft I will take the compliment that my girls are gorgeous but disagree about me I feel like and old hag!

myjob thank you for your memory I knew I read that someone had seen the trike but after catching up on a weeks worth I forgot who it was!

50ftQueenie · 12/09/2009 10:51

It's ok Myjob. I did get it thanks.

Don't be silly Jenwa. You are most definitely gorgeous.

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/09/2009 21:04

Boo! Where'd everyone go?

Just to conclude the huge discussion about my period , I suspect that the strange light bleeding that I had last month was an anovulatory bleed, but that it is a full on proper period this month. (having spent a total of 5.5 yrs ttc I like to think of myself as somewhat of an expert on my cycles)

CSWS - I think I know more about bicycles than I do about my cycles!

I have been at my friend's house for a house warming party. Everyone loved M especially the dog, who later chomped her foot whilst in the middle of a chicken leg frenzy. He didn't hurt her in the slightest but as it was a chicken bone the subsequent fight between dog and owner scared the absolute crap out of her and she tried to tunnel through my chest. Poor little love was completely terrified and was shaking every time she saw the dog....... for all of about five minutes. Then she went back to bashing him on the nose and pulling his fur.

50ftQueenie · 12/09/2009 21:22

eBay are bastards. I keep hearing about people having problems with them over stupid stuff.

Can you advise on electric bicycles then mm? Am wondering whether to get one instead of just a mountain bike, as one has to go up a big hill to get to my house.

OP posts:
50ftQueenie · 12/09/2009 22:26

Ah but you see CSWS, I know nothing about bicycles either. But sounds like a good idea to me, anything to avoid peddling up a hill.

Honeymoonmummy · 12/09/2009 22:33

Hey all, just a quickie, is anyone still using cooled boiled water or are you all just using tap water now?

50ftQueenie · 12/09/2009 22:39

Hmm - I am using tap water.

Honeymoonmummy · 12/09/2009 22:40

Wow, just read the last few pages and feel like a more informed woman now. Bring on the period chat Poppy!

Honeymoonmummy · 12/09/2009 22:42

I just tasted the water out of the (one month old) kettle and it tastes like shit!!! I'm just going to use tap water, surely at 10 months it'll be OK.

I've had a weird few days, my anxiety levels seem to be going up again, I spent the drive home today having a "feeling" that we were going to have a car crash on the way home. Not been like that for a while.

Honeymoonmummy · 12/09/2009 22:46

Oh and Jenwa I'm thinking of getting Poppy a trike too for her first birthday. We were talking to a guy who had one from toys r us today, he said it was ace, it detaches to be a normal trike when they get to that age. I went thro MN last night looking for threads re what to get for first birthday present, just have to read them all now!!

Honeymoonmummy · 12/09/2009 22:47

Right, I'm talking to myself again. That's also not a good sign for the PND

I'm off to bed, night all!

50ftQueenie · 12/09/2009 22:52

I'm here Hmm. I was just looking at those pictures of M again......

I too am thinking of getting a trike. We are watching a film about a massacre which happened n New Zealand. I's not much fun. Three children have already been shot dead. It is a true story as well.

Hellooo! I can't watch stuff like that at the moment MM, I can't sit through soaps or films unless it's a comedy, it just makes me on edge. I need to go back to the docs I think. I'm also still constipated, it's now been, what, 19 months??????

loulou33 · 12/09/2009 22:57

Hi all,

Ronshar - My ds1 loves Mr Maker so much he told me one day out of the blue that he wants to change his name to Mr Maker!!

Pepper - Joe is the opposite, he loves the shapes bit of Mr Maker and has himself a little boogie with full head shake to go with it. He loves the music that goes with it, he stops playing straight away and makes a bee line for the telly. Not that its on a lot of course

CSWS - Joe's not too clued up on the teletubbies either although DS1 has a set of tiny plastic ones. Joe may have been allowed to see them on the rare occasions that DS1 has let him look at his toys without screaming... Joe's new birthday toys are of course a different story and are for everyone to play with . I fear this sibling rivalry with go on for, well for ever i guess.....anyway, i'm sure D would love the teletubbies even though he didn't know who they were.

Star - the NHS' NICE guidelines for depression state that everyone diagnosed with mild to moderate depression should be offered counselling/CBT first. Has your gp talked to you about psychological therapy as well? If not, go here and take a copy to your gp to look at. ADs dont' work for some people in the long term on their own, it needs to be backed up with psychological stuff too - sorry rant over!!

HMM - just tap water, except if i'm giving formula then its boiled...so that's both then!

Honeymoonmummy · 12/09/2009 23:00

Wow. There are a LOT of trikes in Toys R Us. Just seen this too, what do you think? Bit cheap looking maybe?
