Right, i definitely need my bed! night all!

50ftQueenie · 12/09/2009 23:03

Hmm - I quite like that on edge feeling, but then for me it is under control & a temporary state. I imagine it is totally different for you. Yes, go back to the doctors if your starting to feel strange again. Get it sorted before it gets worse. You can take proper laxative once you've stopped bfing, but that isn't really any help to you now is it? Can the dr not offer any solution?

50ftQueenie · 12/09/2009 23:20

Have you seen this !

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/09/2009 08:44

The pieces in that dolls' house are too small for Poppy at the moment hmm, but by all means buy it whilst on offer and save for a later date. Dd got her dolls' house from ds when he was born (age 2.8).

I am currently thinking of this for ds.

Yes, heard about Godstone yesterday mm. Started only a week after we were there!

That looks pretty cool CSWS. I think M would love that she she enjoys building her soft bricks (but mainly knocking them down). I really really want to get her this but it is too expensive for DH to consider (and I can't find the blue one anywhere!). It is soooo pretty.

That pram is gorgeous MM. And the dolls house too! I've been starting to think about S's birthday but mostly about what cake I'm going to make. I think I'm a little obsessed with cake at the moment.

HMM - Sorry you're feeling so awful. It must be really difficult to function while you're feeling like that. Definitely sounds like another trip to the doctors is needed.

Also, Star - How are you??

Dp has taken S this morning so that he can play computer games this afternoon, so I've been having a lovely time lounging around in bed reading and then looking at property on the internet to try and figure out where we're going to move to (Leeds, Brighton, Amsterdam, Berlin...).

Dp is convinced that S can point to the caterpiller in his Hungry Caterpillar book. I've not seen evidence of this with my own eyes yet. I do know that he kisses the butterfly at the end every time he has the story, which is very cute.

aubergenie · 13/09/2009 19:17

Hellooooooo! Is anyone there?

50ftQueenie · 13/09/2009 19:58

I've been at my mum's today but I am back home now. Just doing a pretty late bed time!

Aubergenie - S is adorable and that he kisses the butterfly is just makes him more so! DH and I have to meet him (and you of course) before you move too far away. I am going to attempt the birthday cake from the vegetable cake book. That or the Jane Clark one.

50ftQueenie · 13/09/2009 19:59

I must read my posts before I commit. A superfluous 'is' there.

RachieW · 13/09/2009 20:21

Eeek I lost the thread! I am here and alive and managing to keep my head above water..just. Work got better on Friday, have plans, am prepared-ish for the children coming back tomorrow. Myjob thanks for your lovely comment about Nursery, I know what you mean, the children need a place to be happy and safe and to explore. I think I've still got a bit of my junior head on and am thinking fractions etc

J had a good session at his Nursery on Friday so we ended the week positively. He's been upset with teething all weekend though so don't know how tomo will go. Very bad nights sleep for the last 2 nights, really hoping for a good one tonight.

Star and HMM- Sorry neither of you are feeling good at the moment.

CSWS- Sorry to hear that the prognosis isn't good for your mum and that things are still difficult.

Welcome back Jenwa

aubergenie · 13/09/2009 21:01

50ft - I'd love to introduce you to S and, of course, meet the lovely Martha. I have a feeling she could give S a run for his money! We're not going anywhere for a while - I definitely want to see this school year out - but we need to start thinking about how we can get something with more than one bedroom.

Great that it's coming together at work Rachie - plans are always good. I haven't had any PPA yet and can't wait to have a chance to sit down and actually plan ahead, instead of cobbling something together after school in between meetings.

Oh and I nearly ran over Gollom from Lord of the Rings with the buggy yesterday.

Right - off to look for the Jane Clarke cake recipe...

50ftQueenie · 13/09/2009 21:24

How about October for a Greenwich meet up ? Late October so it's lovely and Autumnal. Oh I am getting unreasonably excited about Autumn/Winter.

Definitely 50ft! We can shuffle through the leaves in Greenwich park.

Myjob - I've just seen on FB that it's your birthday today. Sorry - I hadn't realised! Happy Birthday!!!!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 13/09/2009 22:28

Happy birthday myjob!

Been to see Dirty Dancing at the drive in!

OP posts:
Honeymoonmummy · 13/09/2009 23:18

Hey all. God I'm knackered (again), going to bed in a minute. Don't worry folks, I'm not about to give Poppy a dolls house!!! Was thinking of buying while cheap as you say CSWS.

I am soooo jealous CSWS, Dirty Dancing is my all-time fave film and I would LOVE to watch it at a drive-in! Was it a special one-off? If not I'm coming to your neck of the woods soon!!!

Happy birthday MyJob! I hope you've had a lovely day x

Right, I'm off to bed, night all!

jenwa · 14/09/2009 08:21

Hope you had a lovely birthday myjob what did you do?

HM sorry you been feeling low I am always soooo tired too and cant wait to get to bed!

csws love what you want to get D for his b'day am now thinking of that for P. I never seem to find stuff over than ELC or basic toy shops, much search more or get you and MM to do my searching

rachie glad work ok and you are prepared. Hope all goes well.

off to hosp again today, having my eye appt, I am fed up of going to be honest, I know its good in the log run but I wish I could just spend 1 day there and get it all done! Got appt thurs and appt Nov and am sure I will have more in between!

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/09/2009 08:33

So glad you just mentioned hospital jenwa, as it's just reminded me that D has a hospital appointment this afternoon which I'd totally forgotten about!

Grrr - did one of you order the last of those clipo tables from additions? They are out of stock now, so I'll have to order from somewhere more expensive!

OP posts:
jenwa · 14/09/2009 08:54

oh no csws no I never did order it just thought it was a good pressie. Can they get more in stock? Prob too long to wait now though!
Whats D appt for? I he ok?

jenwa · 14/09/2009 08:56

csws here

jenwa · 14/09/2009 08:57

Oh sorry its also unavailable!

CantSleepWontSleep · 14/09/2009 09:13

It's ok Jenwa - I can get it from Boots for a couple of pounds more I think, so it's no problem really.

Well, I got a letter from hosp giving me appt for him with consultant, and it didn't give me even the slightest clue what for, so I had to phone up and ask! It's in the ENT dept, but turns out it's because he never got a successful newborn hearing screening (didn't do at birth as weekend, and he had cold or wouldn't keep still for other appts), so they will do some sort of hearing test on him. No reason to think that there's a problem, but he has another cold atm, so hopefully that won't stop them getting a proper result again!
