Hellooo, Star fab news about Q walking, what a clever boy and wow Myjob- all that talking already

I have to confess I read yesterday's posts late last night and a bit drunk so have forgotten most of what was said Wedding was good, both dh and I got quite drunk once MIL collected Jack, well dh more than me I woke up about 7 this morning, felt very odd without J but then managed to sleep again until 9 which was lurverly. Had a very lazy morning to start with then dh went food shopping so I did some cleaning up and then J came home. By this point I was dying to see him. Feel quite refreshed having had a night away and it really wasn't as bad as I'd thought. J had a great time, ate loads slept well so all is good in the W household at the moment.

O

RachieW · 02/08/2009 21:35

Not sure what happened there, but that O was meant to be Oh HMM sorry first test was negative and can't help with the bleeding question I'm afraid. Maybe give it five days and test again?

Thanks Rachie but I wasn't that bothered with the negative result when it actually came to it. I would prefer to be pregnant when I'm properly on the mend from the PND.

I kind of answered my own question didn't I?! I will test again in 5 days but am pretty convinced now that I'm not.

I forgot to say, Poppy can climb the stairs now! She does it every night now at bathtime, she loves it! DH is behind her but all he is doing is putting a balancing hand on her bum. Bless her! She got lots of attention today at the Trafford Centre as I had her in a really nice dress. We went for the long christening dress in the end, this one The picture doesn't really do it justice, the detail on it is lovely, there's a row of little flowers on the chest seam.

Honeymoonmummy · 02/08/2009 22:33

I'm sorry to hear about N waking up screaming MyJob, could it be her teeth? I hope you and she gets a good sleep for the rest of the night!

Talking of sleep...night night!

jenwa · 03/08/2009 08:51

haha hm I meant donate me some boobs but off course if you want to club together and buy me a boob job that will be fine too
Wow with all these moving babies, P is crawling about lots now.

myjob sorry for N's bad night, poor things. Sometimes P does that but I think she leans on her dummy and it squashes her face

P has horrible nappies at the mo...yuck. and yesterday we went to a christening where she was a fidgit pants but also adorable, anyway, went back to my friends and she had an explosive nappy, luckily my friend has 3 girls so ran the bath for me to dunk P as it was everywhere! DD1 was not well and whinged and cried lots and when we came home her temp was 39.1 so not sure whats going on there, she complained of a sore throat but seems brighter this am and temp 37.5. Will keep an eye on her though.

rachie glad you enjoyed your night out.

Afternoon ladies.

We appear to have joined the 5am club. M keeps waking up really early and refusing to go back to sleep. She also starts shouting to wake her brother up cheeky monkey. She reminds me of the raptors in Jurassic Park, when they call to each other.... You can tell she's trying to call ds because she shouts then looks at the bedroom door.

Pistachio - I used to do something similar with ds when he woke up too early. I used to make him breakfast then put a dvd on for him while had a little snooze on the sofa. Works a treat doesn't it?!

Jenwa - Poor sickly girls. Hope they feel better today. And as I said before, I have enough boob to share out with everyone on this thread.

Hmm - Very pretty dress, nice and simple. You don't need loads of frills when you have a pretty baby girl to put it on.

Myjob - Hope poor N is not too tired today. She's too young for night terrors so don't worry about that! How is ds at night these days?

Meant to say -

Ronshar - Lovely pics of your trip with W. He is a gorgeous little man isn't he?!

star6 · 03/08/2009 14:08

HMM Q climbs our stairs, too. It's hilarious b/c he's like a little person now instead of a baby

He's been miserable today. teething I think... it's driving me nutty

myjob - tht shouldn't be night terrors this early.

MM that is too funny imagining M trying to wake up DS. love the raptor analogy. We always say Q sounds like a raptor

star6 · 03/08/2009 15:18

pepper - I can't find your post... I swear I read it the other night but so tired at the moment. Really curious how staying in the barn went!! When we went to Godstone Farm for a meet up I could not stop looking at all of hte barns with animals and hay and thinking, ok... take all that stuff out and that's where pepper has to stay... made me feel really sorry for you!!! I'm a VERY literal and visual person... so I can't help but think stuff like this, sorry. DH is SO sick of hearing about how i know someone who stayed on holiday at her in-laws in a barn!

Marthasmama · 03/08/2009 15:21

Star - All Pepper said in her post was that she didn't want to talk about her holiday.

Pepper - Hopefully you've now unwound enough to come and tell us about your holiday without developing a twitch.

Marthasmama · 03/08/2009 15:23

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/08/2009 17:40

Just a quick hello whilst I'm eating dinner. Busy day yest swimming and then friends over, and busy day today at playgym, doing Tesco online order and then at the park.

Can't remember what I've read so I'll just do a big yay for all the good stuff, and a big boo for all the bad stuff .

Ah myjob. We would have had such a lovely day today wouldn't we? Instead Dh and I have been dealing with a moaning M who is overtired and a whiny DS who keeps crying about nothing. I have no idea what the matter is with that boy!

Sorry to hear about all of the moaning babies!!

Q has been quite whingy because of teeth, but he's now sleeping. Went down on his own awake at 7. ... sorry, I'm still so happy about that.

yay for the toybox clearout myjob

I had coffee (wine) w/ a friend from 5-6.15 while DH got Q his dinner and when I got home we did bath, bf and stories and now he's in bed. Was nice to get out even if just short... made me want more wine, though. Will have to do that sometime this week

If I drink a lot of wine... (a lot for me is like 3 glasses... maybe 4 if it's a long night) or have a cocktail or something, do I need to wait before bf Q again or can I just bf as usual? Last time I had a bit to drink... I fed Q without thinking I hope I didn't damage him... I won't do it again if I'm not meant to. What do you all do?

star6 · 03/08/2009 20:42

OH NO!!! I hope everyone isn't in total because of what I've done and no one is posting because you just can't think of what to say without making me feel horrible for feeding him! It's ok. I can take it.

Marthasmama · 03/08/2009 20:48

Heh heh Star. Of course not. I was about to reply to you when ds came back downstairs complaining that he was hot. Then I went to make a cup of tea, but couldn't find a cup (dishwasher is washing) so came back to sit down. I have only had a drink on two occasions since M was born so I am not a good person to ask. I like a glass of wine but I'm not that fussed about it. I'd rather have a cup of tea.
