Size 8! I was a lot les than 30 last time I was a size 8.... I like to think of myself as a generous 12, so that's a 14 then.

pepperrabbit · 27/07/2009 21:42

I'm here, but mainly cos I should be packing...

RachieW · 27/07/2009 21:48

Pepper I'm a generous 12 too Size 8??? am so

MM- Don't tell me anything about The Street please- am recording it as I was having a bath when it started. I really like it, last weeks was very good but sad.

Jenwa- am off to check out your feet pics in a mo

Had a busy day today. Went swimming with J and my brother, hadn't taken J for ages. He spent the first 15mins making 'oooooh' noises and then the rest of the time splashing. Then my brother announces he needs clothes for starting work, he's just finished uni, so we ended up spending the rest of the day at Bluewater. Off to Leeds Castle tomorrow. Phew...next week will be very dull in comparison.

Marthasmama · 27/07/2009 21:51

Rachie - You spend loads of time near me you know! My mum is taking me for a half hour visit to Bluewater on Thursday as I reckon I can manage that amount of time.

Marthasmama · 27/07/2009 21:56

Prepare yourself by the way Rachie. It's not a nice one tonight.

RachieW · 27/07/2009 21:59

Jenwa- I'm being thick, I can't find your pics??

MM- We'll really have to meet up once you are fully recovered. Which shops will you spend your half hour in?

Honeymoonmummy · 27/07/2009 22:02

OMG Jenwa, if you think you need to lose weight I'm REALLY in trouble! Lovely pics

Just got Poppy off to sleep in her cot rather than in my arms!!!!! So proud of myself!! It's ridiculous! I've been working up to it, 3 weeks ago she had to be rocked to sleep standing up, then sitting down then in my arms but not rocked and now in the cot with me rubbing her thigh. Got a bit of a way to go yet but WOO HOO! It only took 35 mins and she didn't really cry much!

I'm off to watch BB [saddo emoticon]

Marthasmama · 27/07/2009 22:05

Rachie - Probably Baby Gap and Monsoon kids! I'm not bothered about things for me. Too fat at the moment!

I get confused every time someone mentions 'The Street' on a Corrie night.

Had reflexology this evening, but had forgotten until woman turned up to do it!

Am exhausted and barely keeping eyes open now, after terrible night from both last night, combined with me taking around 1.5hrs to get to sleep in the first place!
Can't remember anything of what I've just read, except that you're all half (or 1/3) the size of me - quelle surprise .

pepperrabbit · 27/07/2009 22:10

Well done HMM!
Am off to bed now (it's clearly too late to pack, we'll have to leave late tomorrow )
Was up at 3am with J last night, she can't crawl yet but is at the reversing stage and she'd reversed all the way down the cot away from the dummy . So she got cross and trashed all the teddies innocently sitting at he bottom of the cot, then (as far as I can tell) a life size penguin (don't ask) that the boys insist she "wants in there" had fallen on her head.....
Shall not be packing the penguin.

RachieW · 27/07/2009 22:12

MM- Monsoon sale was still going strong today I only like buying tops at the moment for me as my bottom half is too large. Really need to do something before I go back to work as I only have jeans and can't wear those Have you seen that new shop, something like Hollister? It is for the very young and slim but is so odd, it's practically candle lit. How on earth are you supposed to see what you are buying is beyond me [old lady emoticon]

aubergenie · 27/07/2009 22:13

Evening all! Just marking my place. We've been up in the Yorkshire dales for dp's brother's wedding. It was lovely and ds got loads of attention.

Hope you're feeling a lot better now MM.

Right, off to catch up with everyone's news.

pepperrabbit · 27/07/2009 22:16

rachie - was there that terrible noise that young people call "music"?!!

Marthasmama · 27/07/2009 22:20

Ha ha ha Rachie - We've not even been in there as we are waaaaay too old! It smells funny too. DS thinks it's a Chinese restaurant!

Not me CSWS. I'm not small! Short yes, small no.

Hello Aubergenie! I thought we would be missing you until the end of August! How lovely to see you. I am feeling much better thank you. I am feeling tired quite often but that's to be expected I suppose. DH is an angel so I am getting lots of sleep when I need it.

Have you read bethoo's latest status update on fb?

pepperrabbit · 27/07/2009 22:27

I don't think I have bethoo on fb.. is she ok?

RachieW · 27/07/2009 22:28

Pepper- There was!! It was so young that the shop assistant (who was probably 17) looked at me in my mummy wrap round dress with my pram and I swear nearly fell back in horror into a pile of hot pants behind her. I had to restrain myself from asking in a granny type way 'how do you work in here it's sooooo dark?'

MM- the main reason I went in was cos it looked so intriguing, I'd agree with your dh it does look like a chinese restaurant

Marthasmama · 27/07/2009 22:28

I'm not friends with her on FB.....

OP posts:
RachieW · 27/07/2009 22:29

Oh no don't know Bethoo very well but isn't she pg, is all ok?

pepperrabbit · 27/07/2009 22:30

I'd need a lot of hotpants to break my fall.
And they always look so draughty, tut tut.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/07/2009 22:32

She's 17 weeks, but her dp has walked out on her.

RachieW · 27/07/2009 22:33

Me too Pepper!

pepperrabbit · 27/07/2009 22:33

oh dear, poor poor bethoo.

Marthasmama · 27/07/2009 22:33
