DS hasn't followed a steady line either if that makes you feel better!
no1 you're so slim it makes sense that even if you have a big baby, that his build is on the slim side too

No1 - HUGS

We had a great break - DD slept most of the way there and was a joy on the plane. Dh upgraded us to upper class so we had a flat bed and DD had a very posh bassinet. It was VERY hot 33 degrees on Saturday

oopsacoconut · 29/04/2009 21:03

Soprry that should have had an excessive post warning

lwfh · 29/04/2009 21:16

Hello everyone,

Quicke decision please.

DS has a sore throat, not very well. Not feeding well, didn't sleep well last night, up at 5.30 this morning.

20 minute nap at 9am
40 minute nap at 11am
45minute nap at 3pm. BF. went back to sleep.
now 5.15pm.

Should I wake him up? he usually is asleep by 7.45pm. I am happy to push his bedtime back a bit.

Am unable to make a decision. So am wondering if you have any advice?

Miamla · 29/04/2009 21:17

oops sounds like you had fun. well done on your choice of restaurant! pleased to see that you unpacked your thoughts on here before unpacking your clothes

lwfh · 29/04/2009 21:17

PS when he is awake he is very grumpy and cry-y which is probably why I haven't woken him up before now.

lwfh · 29/04/2009 21:19

oh and he usually sleeps with a dummy, which he is refusing at the moment, I guess because of his sore throat, but makes sleep just that bit more of an issue ...

I would leave him LWFH - if he's not well he will sleep more and eat less.

Ah, thank you. Vomitting Calpol (twice yesterday, the first time over DHs work shirt, the second time - you would have thought that I would have learnt - over his suit) and ibuprofen, so we are being all French at the moment with suppositories.

oopsacoconut · 29/04/2009 21:23

Sazzles - yes we did but the HUGE mafia man on the door scared us into staying!

pertelote · 29/04/2009 21:24

No1 - what they said! Silly cow of a HV. Hope you're enjoying the film.

Welcome back Oops!

Meeting went well today, think it's going to be ok. Thanks everyone for support.

ALBS so sorry it's still problematic. Don't have much to add to the excellent advice everyone else has given - just to repeat that it will surely pass.

VG sorry to hear about your mother's fall, is she ok? Hope in good spirits following application of cake and of course not badly hurt.

Miamla picnic sounds great! I am having two holidays in May so hope I will be around... Actually I have been meaning to say, our party on Monday is to say thank you to people who supported us through DD's op - which most certainly includes everyone here... if anyone is free, and near enough to pop over to Stratford on a BH afternoon for a glass of bubbly, you would be very, very welcome. Perhaps best not put my address here but email me on jmh at pertelote dot org for directions.

This has taken hours, to all I've x posted with...

lwfh · 29/04/2009 21:24

Thanks again.

Miamla · 29/04/2009 21:24

lwfh, suspect its because his tummy is empty that's making him vomit from the calpol. i second leaving him to sleep.

oops that sounds like a fab trip, you got so much done. DH is slowly coming around to the idea of a trip to New York.

No1 your HV sounds like a class A biatch. As for the umpteen pushchairs - I could have used you on my thread about whether to buy a buggy from Mothercare cos it is 150 euros cheaper then getting it here. I ordered it in the end cos my mum offered to pay for it [guilty emoticon] Haven't told DH yet, but am planning to just bring it back from my trip to UK and try the "this old thing" line.

Ooh did you get that sneakily mentioned "trip to UK"
Planning on the last 2 weeks of May, will be a week in Devon and a week in Malvern, but also trying to work out how I can fit a couple of days in London in too.

Right bed time for me as I have a blood test at stupid o'clock tomorrow morning.

pertelote, i'm sure we'll be having more than one picnic so just give us a few dates and i'll sort out a date that we're all free for. as for the bubbly offer... i'd love to!

Steaknife · 29/04/2009 21:28

Blummin heck, you type a post and all of a sudden a million folk turn up and squeeze in before you can post the post.

right, better read what you lot said then.
