Right that's my brothers suitable miffed embarressed (sp) next time they go on fb.

time to get us all fixed up for lunch.

dizzydixies · 24/04/2009 11:14

morning (just) all, am waiting in today on tiles being collected/delivered such is the excitement of my life. Dylan asleep having been up since 4am and DD2 and I sitting here watching Shrek and eating cocktail sausages

for some stupid reason I cannot stop bubbling under the surface today I had a wee cry earlier after I had an imaginary argument with my dad whilst I was having my shower. When I got out I phoned him to check in and say hi and it was just as unsatisfactory as usual [don't know why I bother emoticon]

anyway, DD2's bot seems a tad better today (fingers crossed) DH has gone back to bed as he's a 12 hour shift starting at 4pm. I went back to bed at 7am when he got up and heardeverythingafter got to sleep till 8.30, now he's gone back for as long as he needs - not sure I got the best deal there

steaky congrats on mansteaks new job and echoing others Izzy is beautiful

to all else, ASDA here is in Dundee and is known as the ASDA for some reason ALWAYS the ASDA not just ASDA!

No1 hope it all went well last night
Sibh your wee man sounds like an absolute star - chuck in a huge bar of lovely souther Irish Cadburys with his pudding from me please

TS was nothing exciting, drove 40 minutes to town to see a piece of furniture considering buying and to order christening cake (cop out I know sorry ) When I arrived, furniture shop not open and neither was cake shop so nipped into my old office to usethephone see friend at which point DD2 had a rather bad tummy and filled her pants/trousers/top/jacket full of horrific poop and ended up running about in a pair of pants, pair of trainers and her vest top whilst I gagged cleaned up am not sure I'll be welcomed back with open arms. Nipped into Matalan (cheapy british store) to get her some more clothing and it happened again - thankfully she slept ok last night and hasn't repeated again since

for anyone who hasn't yet fallen asleep the fecking furniture shop didn't have the sodding item and I have completely over indulged with the christening cake justifying it as the last one

dizzydixies · 24/04/2009 11:17

sambo303 · 24/04/2009 11:25

tried weetabix on ds last night - he slept from 11pm (up a few times with teeth in the early evening although I missed most of the fun due to nct committee meeting ps buckets I had Tea) til 5.49am - I leapt out of bed to check he was still alive [silly mummy emoticon]

dp managed to overdose ds with calprofen but nhs direct said it was not toxic, phew

off to park now for nct picnic , hope all have a wonderful Friday

cyteen · 24/04/2009 12:54

alittlebitshy · 24/04/2009 15:57

Very quiet today .

sambo yay for weetabix!!

cyteen hmm - does he eat before/after the screaming fits?

cyteen · 24/04/2009 18:11

I can't remember what happened the other day, think that one was just overtiredness tbh, but today's was mid-mouthful. I have chalked it up to a thumbs down for cauliflower

Hi Sazz Glad you all enjoyed your trip, sounds very refreshing and the DD1-love is just too cute.

I do always have loud music on in the kitchen (lately it's Gold FM as they are quite reliable for having something cheesy I can sing along to) but it's rather hit and miss as to whether Joe finds me amusing or not. Still, I amuse myself so it's still worth doing.

I think he was okay, just having a bit of a wobbler on and off today. We went to the park this afternoon with a friend and he cried half the way there and half the way back, but just attention cries iyswim. He seems to have really taken against the pram of late; when you put him in he just lays there with a blank look on his face, and when you undo the straps to get him out he holds his arms up and quivers with urgency like you're taking him out of solitary confinement. Strange boy.

dizzydixies · 24/04/2009 19:47

re Italian chef sazz but glad you had a lovely time

DD2 had another minging nappy but unfortunately DH got it Dylan been on great form today and it was sunny this afternoon which was nice - have tried her in her christening robe which is ok (just) so happeneing not a minute too soon! She also nearly brought up her vanilla custard on it so was glad that happened afterwards!

DH working till 4am so I've just got the girls down and am going to ignore the bloody tip house and internetshop relax!

dizzydixies · 24/04/2009 19:49

hi cyteen Dylan has hissy fits sometimes in her highchair/pram but I'm afraid I tend to ignoreher give her a moment to get over it as I'm normally tied up with the other two as long as she's safe etc she can cope with it for a few moments

Goodness dizzy that does indeed look amazing My friends are having their little boy christened that day too, but somehow I fear that Leicester Cathedral will not have the same allure Still looking forward to it though.

Sazz I think he is getting closer to crawling...he hates being on his front less anyway and is most proficient at turning himself round in a circle Will just have to see what's what, it might just be something as simple as the start of attention-seeking tantrum cries [joy].

I wonder whether Ann has got her computer fixed yet?

dizzydixies · 24/04/2009 20:14

its fab because hire of the room is free, you just pay for the buffet which is being sponsored by PIL but not too expensive anyway - saves my house and the kids can be chuckedout running about on the lawn if its a nice day

if this is the last Christening we're doing it in style

dizzydixies · 24/04/2009 20:18

oh and we're not in the function suite or anything, we're just in the front room with a door that opens out onto the gardens and as its in the middle of absolute nowhere even if someone wanders off they'll just reach the woods not a road or anything

but DH just sent a text saying he's away on a course from 5th-8th May meaning muggins here will be doing all the cleaning/shopping/organising etc as usual ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr [meep][sigh]
